Video Transcript for Review of Pop and Lock Vehicle Locks - Van Locks - 100383

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the pop and lock cargo safe powered deadbolt lock. This is going to fit onto your 2015 through 2019 Ford T-150 T-250 and T-350 transit van. It will work for either the left side rear swing door or your sliding side door. This is going to provide extra security for you to make sure that all of the tools and equipment or musical instruments or whatever it is that you have stored in your van is going to be secure.

This does not have any exterior components, so someone can't come up and pick the lock or do anything like that. So it's going to make it very secure. The only way to operate this is with the key fob for your van. So it's going to be very easy to use.Just use that lock and unlock feature on your key fob, and it will operate this. This is going to come with the locking unit here.

This is also going to have two different brackets for the two different applications that it will work for and the mounting hardware, as well as instructions to help you get it mounted in place. So like I said, this is going to tie into your vans existing wiring so that you can use that key fob to lock and unlock it. This is a nice stainless steel construction. So it's going to be very strong and durable, and it should provide a lot of extra security for your van to make sure that all of that valuable equipment that you have stored in there stays safe. That's going to complete our look for today.

Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

  • Propane Hose to Connect Trailer's Propane System to Regulator
Thank you for the photo and from that it looks like you have a 1/2 inch fitting, which is common for the hose coming from the propane system on your trailer. However, there are not extensions with a 1/2 inch fitting so we have replacement hoses of different lengths though you'll need to determine if they are the proper length for your needs. - MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" MPT - 3 Feet # 100383-36-MBS - MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female...

  • Does the 1/2 Inch Female Flare Swivel x 3/8 Inch MPT Come in a 12 Inch Length?
The MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" MPT - 3' # 100383-36-MBS does not come in a 12 inch length. We only have the 3 foot already mentioned, 4 foot # 100383-48-MBS, and 5 foot # 100383-60-MBS. The only hoses in the 12 inch length are the pigtail hoses that connect the cylinder to the regulator.

  • Extension Hose for Dual Propane Tanks After Regulator on RV
We have a large selection of propane extension hoses which I have attached for you. In order to find the correct one we would need to know what type of fittings you need on either end. If you do not know what type of fittings you need then you will want to take a look at the attached help article which explains all of the different types. The back check valve you are referring to is usually built into the leader hose that connects the tank to the regulator so you do not need an additional...

  • What Size Fitting Is Needed on RV Propane Hose That Goes from Regulator to Trailer
The MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - 3/8" Male NPT x 1/2" Female Flare Swivel uses a 3/8" fitting on the regulator side and 1/2" fitting on the manifold side. These are nominal fitting sizes so they don't actually measure 3/8" and 1/2", they are actually larger at .675" and .840" respectively.

The MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly # 100383-36-MBS that you referenced has a psi rating of 350 but it doesn't have a BTU rating. I reached out to my contact at MB Sturgis and he said that this hose, which is designed to connect a regulator to an RV propane system, will easily carry 200K BTU under high pressure.

  • Is There A Difference Between MPT And NPT Propane Fittings
MPT is a male connection with NPT threads (national pipe threads). They basically just drop the "National" portion of the name on these parts and replace them with the male or female designation. The MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" MPT - 4' # 100383-48-MBS you were looking at has a male NPT fitting and would require a female NPT (FPT) fitting to connect to. • Is Propane Pressure Before Regulator High Pressure Propane
The lines and ports that would mount before your propane regulator would be unregulated propane and not high pressure as high pressure propane is regulated just to a higher pressure. Low-pressure propane burners regulate gas intake to about 6 ounces per square inch, whereas high-pressure burners regulate gas intake to between 1 and 60 pounds per square inch. Pressure in a propane tank regardless of size can range between 100 and 200 psi typically.

  • Propane Adapter Hoses to Use as Extension for Regulator
Yes, if you are talking about the inner of a propane regulator. The 3/8" male NPT fitting on the 3 hoses you asked about and are listed below, is the most common size for a regulator. But, there are some that use other sizes so you would want to verify that is what you have. - Propane Hose # 37207-31465 - MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100383-36-MBS - MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100383-60-MBS The other ends of these hoses are 1/2" female fittings, again you would want to verify...

  • Comparing High and Low Pressure Propane Hoses and Thermoplastic Versus Rubber
Most RV propane systems use a low pressure regulator because the appliances are low pressure. You can check the information stamped into your regulator to determine if it is high or low pressure or offers both. High pressure regulators are usually 30 psi, such as # 108072. Hoses for high pressure systems are built to handle the higher pressure. Many hoses do not specify if they are high or low pressure and can generally be used for either system. The fittings on each type may have different...

The MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail Hose # 100019-36 (3 ft.) will go from the 100 lb. propane tank to the regulator using the Propane Adapter Fitting # 37207-30035. • Replacement Propane Supply Hose From Regulator to RV Propane Supply Line
It sounds like you're looking for a 3 foot long supply hose; typically the outlet end of a regulator will almost certainly be a 3/8" female NPT and from the picture you sent it looks like you've got a female flare connector on the other end that goes to the metal RV piping. Additionally, since you've said that the piping side is larger it sounds like you're looking for the # 37207-31445 which has a 1/2" Female flare connector on one end and a 3/8" male NPT on the other.
