Today we're going to review part number VX-D9004. These are the Vision X 9004 Halogen Headlight Bulbs, premium white in color, this part number is for a quantity of 2. As you can see this is how you'll receive them. You'll get them in this nice, hard plastic protective case. It protects the bulbs from any damage. When you go to install them, you just pop them open just like that. Just a note, when you go to install these and you handle the bulbs, what you want to do is handle them by the plastic base.
You don't want to touch the glass bulb. The reason that is there'll be oil on your finger tips and that oil from your body will stick to that glass bulb and what will happen is when these are installed and turned on, the high temperature bulb could cause that oil to crack the glass or shatter the glass. So you definitely want to handle it by the plastic base not by the glass portion. As you can see these are halogen bulbs which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs. It gives you improved brightness and increased visibility. These are a premium white light which will shine up to about 40% brighter and up to about 35% further than your factory bulbs, and it also reflects better off of the road signs and the markers along the highway.
Theses bulbs have a high color temperature, which will improve visibility, promotes driver awareness, increases your depth perception, and it will even reduce eye strain and fatigue. This has a durable, long lasting construction, about a 250 hour life span. It is a fast and easy installation. As you can see right here on the bottom you just plug this into your vehicle's existing head lamp sockets. These bulbs are Department of Transportation compliant. This part number has a quantity of 2 bulbs.
The bulb type is 9004. The wattage, it's a dual beam bulb, so the low beam is 45 watts at 12 volts. The high beam is 65 watts at 12 volts. The brightness on this bulb is 900 lumens and the color temperature is 4300 degrees Kelvin. These bulbs do come with a lifetime warranty. Upgrading my headlights was one of the best additions to my truck. I drive through Kansas where there are no lights. Now I do not overdrive my headlights. I have plenty of light on the road.
Wrong bulbs for my model vehicle.
I purchased these items as replacements for when my existing headlights eventually fail. Since I haven't installed them yet, I can't remark on the quality/improvement etc, however I was very pleased with the pricing and the service provided by e-trailer.

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty

These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.

Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks
