Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 194 ST white mini incandescent SilverStar bulbs. Now these incandescent bulbs are going to produce a wider and brighter light with greater contrast for backup or signal lights. These can also be used in some interior light applications as well, depending on your vehicle. Now, as I mentioned, the bulb type is 194, the bulb shape is T-10.
And on your screen, on the lower portion of that graphic there, I'm including the number for the base information as well. Now, these white SilverStar bulbs feature a rated average life of about 250 hours with a color temperature of 3,200 kelvin, which emits a sharper balanced white color than the 2,800 kelvin options. These have a lumen rating of 25 lumens, and these are gonna be a simple plugin connection with your existing wiring harness or receptacle. And as you notice, I am wearing gloves, which does kind of make it a little difficult to line these up here on my table. But the reason I'm wearing gloves is you never want to touch the glass of the bulbs with your fingers.
You don't want to transfer the oils from your skin to the bulbs themselves. So it's a good idea to wear a pair of gloves or even use a clean shop towel. Now under the related product section on this product page, we do have a recommendation for a box of gloves that you can add to your order if you're in need of gloves. These are legal for on-road use, and they do meet the Department of Transportation regulations for performance and life. And it is recommended that you change your bulbs on both sides of your vehicle to maintain that consistent level of light and color.
Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
