Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 7443 RSL Red LED Brake Light Mini Bulbs. Now these highly efficient LED bulbs are designed for use with brake lights with red lens covers. These LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or replacement option. And as you might know, many LED upgrades may not be street legal in your particular state, so you do want to make sure to check all of your state regulations before installing these. So the bulb type is 7443R.
The bulb shape is T-20. And the base number I have there at the bottom of that graphic for you. And as you've been seeing, these are dual-sided LEDs and the dual-sided LEDs and base are going to eliminate polarity issues. And these are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection. And these bulbs are going to be a pretty easy installation into your standard socket.
Now as you notice, I am wearing gloves. It's a good idea to wear a pair of gloves or at least use a clean shop towel when replacing your light bulbs. You wanna be sure that you're not transferring the oil from your skin to the light bulbs. And some vehicles may require the use of load resistors when upgrading. Resistors prevent hyperflash and error codes.
If you find out your vehicle is one of those that need load resistors on your screen, I am including the part number or item number there for those load resistors. You can just take that part number and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to those resistors and you can add them to your order. And again, as you probably know, it is recommended that when you replace your bulbs, you replace them on both sides of your vehicle to maintain that consistent light color and consistency. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
