Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 168 SL LED bulbs. Now, these highly-efficient LED bulbs are designed for use on your vehicle with lights, having a clear or white lens cover. And these LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or replacement option. These can be used as daytime running, reverse, dome, trunk, and license plate lights. Many LED upgrades may not be street legal in your state, so it's a great idea to make sure to check all your state regulations before installing these.

Now the bulb type, as I mentioned, is 168 and the bulb shape is T-10. And these do feature a bright 6,000-Kelvin cool white light output. And these bulbs are going to give an immediate response with instant full brightness that will give other drivers more time to react. These are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection, and these bulbs are gonna be a pretty simple installation, easy installation into the standard socket. If you notice, I am wearing gloves, so you will always want to use gloves or maybe even a clean shop towel to help reduce the transfer of oils from your skin during installation.

So, gloves or a clean shop towel is a great idea to use when installing these. Some vehicles may require the use of load resistors when upgrading. And as you might know, resistors do help prevent hyper flash and error codes. So on your screen, if you find out you do need resistors, I am putting the model number of the resistors that will work with these lights, and it is recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of a vehicle for that consistent light level and color.
