Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 199 effective lumens per bulb.

Ellen: Hey, everyone! I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the LED 7440/7443 style bulbs. These are going to be a wedge style, so they're going to work out well for any kind of tail lights or brake lights for your RV or your boat or your vehicle. Let's take a closer look at these guys and make sure that they're going to be the right fit for you. They just fit into your housing with that wedge style, so you can see just pushes right in place. Should be a pretty easy install for these guys, just goes into that compatible fixture. We do get two bulbs, they are the Eco series, so they should be nice and compact to fit into your housing without any issues.
It should fit pretty well without any clearance issues.I'm going to put this up to power, so you'd see just how bright the lights are and get an idea for that color. Again, it is going to be the red light, so I'm just going to use my little clamps here to power that on. You can see light comes on, turn the lights out in the studio and it looks a little bit clearer that red color. Should be a nice bright light for, again, your tail lights or your brake lights in whatever application you might be using it for. Something I like about these lights is that they are IP6, IP7-rated, which means they're pretty much waterproof and dustproof, shouldn't have any issues with anything getting in there and causing any damage or trouble for you.
They are reverse polarity-protected as well, so no issues if you happen to put them in the wrong way. It should be just fine either way you stick them in your fixture.The output for these lights for the raw lumens is 600, for the effective lumens, it's 199 or just under 200 lumens. That's really more the number to pay attention to. Then after about 30 minutes of continued usage that does drop down to 75 lumens, but that would mean that you have your foot on the brake for up to 30 minutes constantly, so you really shouldn't have really that much issue with that power drop. There are going to be 23 diodes.
You can see five at the top here, and then we'll have 18 around the sides, around the perimeter of your light.The color temperature is a thousand Kelvin, which is that red color that you saw. The wattage per bulb is 6.5 watts, power draw at 12 volts is 0.65 amps. Voltage is between 9 and 16 volts DC. It is covered by a two year limited warranty. That really about does it for our look at these LED bulbs.
