Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 411 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 173 lumens.

Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking look at the replacement LED bulbs. These are going to be the one, one five, seven style bulb. So it fits in a lot of different vehicles, boats, RVs, really anywhere that you want to replace out your clearance light or your turn signal light on one of those vehicles.So let's take a closer look at this guy and make sure that it's the right fit for you. On the end here, you can see that it's going to be that double bayonet style connection point so it just pushes in and then turns into place. This should be similar to the size of your OEM bulbs so there shouldn't be much issue or any issue at all with the clearance or fitment of that bulb.
You see those two little points at the end there. I'm going to hook one of these up to power so you can see how bright that light is, and then I'll turn the lights out in the studio so you can get a better idea of that in the dark.So you can see our light comes on there. Turn out our studio lights, and that bulb does project out 360 degrees or all the way around the light and it's blinking just because I'm using these little alligator clamps to make that connection so as I move a little bit it disrupts the connection. So they're not the most reliable, but the lights are fine. It's just those alligator clamps that are weird.But as far as our lights, they are going to be IP67 rated.
So that means that they're going to be impervious to dust and waterproof. You shouldn't have any issues no matter where you're going to be using these, good for all kinds of terrain, they're also shock resistant. So should be a great addition to your vehicle to replace out your incandescent bulbs and get something a little nicer and longer-lasting. These are going to have a raw lumen output of 600, which is really more of the theoretical output for the lights, but in the real world, when they're actually measured, it's closer to 411 lumens. So that's going to be the effective lumen output.
That's really the number to pay attention to.After about 30 minutes of continued use, that does drop down to 173 lumens. But again, that's only if you're using these continuously and since they're for that amber light, or for your turn signal it doesn't really happen that often that you would be using these continuously for that long. So it shouldn't really have an effect on it. You'll have 23 diodes per bulb. It's going to be 18 around the side and then five up here at the top.
Color temperature is 1,600. So that's that amber color, as you saw. The wattage is 6.5 Watts per bulb. The power draw at 12 volts is 0.65 amps. Our voltage goes between nine and 16 volts DC. They are covered by a limited two year warranty, and that about does it for our look at these replacement LED bulbs. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right pair for you. Easily upgrade your factory turn signal bulbs with these amber 1157 LED bulbs. Compact bulb design prevents fitment or clearance issues. 15-mm Diameter, BA15d base.Fit into the old Peterson PM 306-25A socket perfectly, replacing a 2057 incandescent bulb that was there previously (both of the light fixture's dual filaments are wired together to act in tandem, and only as a turn signal - go figure - but perhaps to be marginally brighter together). LED bulb is much brighter, and I'll assume lower current draw (did not actually measure this). "Garage test" worked fine, we'll know how they take to moisture and vibration in a few months. It should be noted that despite LED bulbs's reputation for being "directional", this bulb lit up rearward AND to the side satisfactorily. Cannot comment if the difference in brightness between the two "filaments" offers sufficient differentiation between low and high setting in actual use, as mine light up simultaneously, as wired.
I bought these to upgrade my rear tailights/turnsignals to LED. They are a direct replacement meaning they fit into the socket properly. However, there isn't enough load in these bulbs to have the turn signals work properly. Apparently, another electrical part must be needed for these bulbs to flash properly as turn signals. Keeping the bulbs since it's not cost effective to return.
The last bulbs converted to LED. The stove light is so handy in my trailer but it was more wattage than i wanted to burn. These bulbs are brighter, longer life and importantly, less wattage.
The led lights are still working. The problematic fuse in the car has not blown so switching from incandescent to led has been worth the cost.

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. And the quality of the bulbs was all I had hoped it would be. I was talking to one of my neighbors about your web site and it turns out he has been an etrailer.com customer for a while. Probably a great product but it is NOT a 194 bulb. Base is correct but too tall for marker light applications

These bulbs work fine. They're a direct replacement for stock and are brighter than stock bulbs.
Directly replaces the old 12V bulbs. Very easy upgrade. More light and less heat. This is also a safer alternative.
The products are great, but you need to improve your web site. Just make it easier to use for individual vehicles.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

These bulbs are much brighter than the ones I replaced. I wanted something brighter due to safety concerns and these seem to do the trick.
The brightness between tail light mode and brake light mode is not enough to be a very good LED replacement.
Planned to use these in a surface mount license plate light fixture. Much longer and thicker at the light end than the existing 193 bulb - it was obvious this one would not fit due to clearance issues. Not worth the time/effort/shipping cost to return for refund, so will hang onto them for potential future applications.
