Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania H7 ST, Silver Star Halogen Bulbs. Now these are for your headlights and they're gonna replace your standard equipment of the 55 watt halogen headlight bulbs with the same fitment and in specifications. You can see they got the two prongs on the bottom side. As you notice, I'm being very careful to try not and touch the glass itself. You never wanna touch the glass bulbs with your fingers or hands 'cause the oil can transfer and diminish the longevity of the bulbs.
Now these give you a 4,000 Kelvin color temperature, which is gonna emit a sharper, balanced white color, compared to your standard 3,200 Kelvin. And it produces a wider and brighter beam. It's gonna have a defined edge, it distances with greater contrast. Now it is a simple plugin. It just plugs into your existing wire harness.
You may have to use some kind of spring retainer that came on your headlight assembly. You'll have to check your local instruction manual with your vehicle on how to swap that out. That is highly recommended that you change both bulbs at the same time. That's gonna ensure the consistency of the life of the bulbs and just the level of lighting and the color of the lighting to match up to each other. This is legal for all on-road use, and it meets all DOT specifications.
Well, that's gonna wrap it up for a quick look at the Sylvania Halogen Headlight Silver Star H7s. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
I’m a big fan of these bulbs. They have a bit more of a daylight color to them. The factory bulbs were more of a warm color. The brightness difference was noticeable immediately, especially in the garage. We took a test drive and noticed the difference a little bit, but I’m still happy with them.
In the attached photo, I replaced the passenger side light first to show the color difference.
The install on a 2019 Kia Sorento was extremely easy. You just twist the bulb cover off, twist the socket out and pull out the bulb, then do everything in reverse. Very easy.

Wow John, I'm happy these headlights got the job done! Thanks for the photos and showing how easy they are to install. I can definitely see a difference in the brightness. Seems like you know your way around cars, have you installed many headlights? How did this one compare?
