Specs:
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 411 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 173 lumens.

Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the 7440/7443 style bulb. This is going to be a replacement for your amber lights in your vehicle, so your turn signal or your clearance lights. It can be used for all kinds of different vehicles, so let's take a closer look at it and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you.It is going to be just this easy wedge style bulb, so it's going to fit right into the housing and be pretty easy to get in place there. It's nice and compact for an LED bulb, so it should just be a direct replacement for your incandescent bulb, and you shouldn't have any issues with fit or clearance.
So that wedge base just fits into your fixture, pretty easy, no cutting or splicing required with this.I'm going to hook this up to power so you can see what it looks like whenever it's illuminated. So I can get our attachment to either side here. So there we go. And you can see that nice, bright amber light. Turn the lights out in the studio, it kind of gives you a better idea of how bright that light is.
And it does kind of have this diffused look to it. It's a going on and off just because of my little alligator clamps here. It's not the best way of connecting to these lights. So it just kind of gives you an idea of what that looks like when it's turned on.They are IP67 rated, so they should be insulated from any kind of dust or moisture getting in there. Waterproof, so no issues with that.
It's also shock resistant, so it should be good for all kinds of terrain. Each bulb has an output of 600 lumens for the raw output. The effective lumens is 411. That's really more the number to pay attention to. After about 30 minutes though, it does drop down to 173 lumens.
That's after 30 minutes of continuous use, so your light would have to be continuously on at that point. Really, it would only be a thing if you had your hazards on for a really long time, but really shouldn't have too much issue with that. We'll have 23 diodes, so you'll see the five on the top, and the rest of them are going to be all around the outside or the perimeter of that light. Color temperature is going to be 1600 Kelvin, which is that amber color. The wattage per bulb is 6.5 watts. Power draw at 12 volts is 0.65 amps. Voltage goes between nine and 16 volts DC. They are covered by a two year limited warranty. And that about does it for our look at the 7440/7443 style bulbs. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right kit for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
So far so good on the lights
Alex is very informative and helpful on the products I wanted, so far I am happy with the lights
They cool wow perfect work it red and white bright
Ordered the bulbs I needed for my 2022 F450.
Great communication fast delivery.
I’ve had these on my truck for over a year and they’ve been awesome! Still work great no issues.
Excellent rain guards, happy so far with LED lights
The brightness between tail light mode and brake light mode is not enough to be a very good LED replacement.
Fit into the old Peterson PM 306-25A socket perfectly, replacing a 2057 incandescent bulb that was there previously (both of the light fixture's dual filaments are wired together to act in tandem, and only as a turn signal - go figure - but perhaps to be marginally brighter together). LED bulb is much brighter, and I'll assume lower current draw (did not actually measure this). "Garage test" worked fine, we'll know how they take to moisture and vibration in a few months. It should be noted that despite LED bulbs's reputation for being "directional", this bulb lit up rearward AND to the side satisfactorily. Cannot comment if the difference in brightness between the two "filaments" offers sufficient differentiation between low and high setting in actual use, as mine light up simultaneously, as wired.
The led lights are still working. The problematic fuse in the car has not blown so switching from incandescent to led has been worth the cost.
I bought these to upgrade my rear tailights/turnsignals to LED. They are a direct replacement meaning they fit into the socket properly. However, there isn't enough load in these bulbs to have the turn signals work properly. Apparently, another electrical part must be needed for these bulbs to flash properly as turn signals. Keeping the bulbs since it's not cost effective to return.
May be a good product but did not work correctly for our vehicle.
ty fast now see how they look ! ty again
