Today we're going to take a look at the Husky GearBox interior storage system for pickup trucks. This is going to fit your '19 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, and it gives you a storage space underneath your back seat. It's going to help you get organized and keep all those small and sundry items contained, and keep them from rolling around in the back of your cab. It is going to be custom-fit to your vehicle. The seat is going to act as a lid for the box. So, you just put this in place underneath your seat, and then use that backseat as the lid.
It's going to fit perfectly there. There is a little strap at the back to keep if from sliding forward, if you have to come to a quick and sudden stop. It's just a cam buckle with a little tensioning lever. So, you can wrap that around one of your seat anchors or the pivot point. It's got a nice black, textured finish, and it tends to make it look pretty much factory.
So, it will look like it's part of your truck.As far as the usable space within here, we're going to have about 48 and 3/4 of an inch at the longest point. The narrowest point width-wise, is going to be back here. It's going to be about seven inches. It does taper down at the back. It kind of scoops down, as you can see there.
And that's going to be about seven inches. The base in here is going to be about 10. At its narrowest point, it's going to be about six and a half. The widest point, up at the front towards the camera here, that's going to be about 15 inches, if we go down to where that narrow portion is.We also have a little shallower shelf here, if you have just smaller items that you want to keep up and clearly visible. The depth of the box overall is going to be between six and seven inches.
So, it's going to be able to fit a lot of gear in here and keep everything organized inside your truck. It's going to have a soft material, so it's not going to damage any of your items, but it is going to be impact resistant. So, if your cargo happens to shift, it's not going to really cause any damage to the box itself.This product is also made in the USA, and it does have a limited lifetime warranty from Husky. Please note HL09031(fits Chevy) does not fit 2018 RAM 2500 quad cab. Had to re order HL09401 and this came in and fit perfectly. Gives you about 3 or 4 inches deeper storage under rear seat , looks like part of the original truck. Plenty of space to keep jumper cables and hitch parts, loose tools and such, great addition to truck

When it first came I thought it seemed a little flimsy and didn’t think it would stay in place. After a year of use it has really worked out great. I almost forget it’s there til I need something out of it. I have a bunch of stuff in there my different size trailer hitches, all needed tools to change trailer tires, jumper cables, and misc items. It gives a lot of space to keep stuff you don’t want laying around in truck. Kept me from needing a toolbox in th bed which tends to take up a lot of space so I like it and would recommend it. Using it in a 2021 Ram 1500

Product has worked out extremely well. It gives me plenty of storage for those odd items I like to carry along such as tie-down straps, receiver ball, umbrella and so forth. Fits very well under the rear seat without taking away any foot room for back seat passengers. And I am still able to have full use of the factory storage bin on the driver side. Only issue I had with installation was attaching the hold-down strap on the passenger side as I have an inverter located where the strap should go. But it worked out fine as the provided strap was long enough to wrap around the seat pedestal instead for a secure fit (see closeup picture of passenger side. Highly recommend this product.

I ended up picking up a set of front and back Husky Xact Contour floor liners in black and this Husky under seat Gearbox. I really like the fit and look of everything. The liners and gearbox took very little effort or time to install. With kiddos that are messy and living in a snowy climate I really wanted a nice set of liners. etrailer.com has always been great to work with and when I need trailer parts or vehicle accessories I look here first. With free shipping and proper pricing theses were a no brainer.

Purchased item for a 2016 2500 HD Silverado Double Cab. Was disappointed when I unboxed the item, looked like the slot where the strap went was missing a strap. Was thinking a Velcro strap (have them in the tool box) would work. A quick glance at the instructions (who knew?) showed it mounts on the jack tool stud, so you can retrieve the tools if needed. Smart and easy. Took 15 minutes with three phone calls (tell me again how cell phones are so great......), would think 5 would have been the number without interruptions. Looks and work great. Test drive had no clinks, clunks, or rattles. Noted the line at the seat bottom was not even, moved the gear around just a bit and it closed up nicely, height matters (did not reshoot the picture). Nice not to have to look at all the junk when opening the door.

I got the product yesterday and installed it today.The straps were a bit of a challenge for an old stiff fart like me.The straps did not seem to be very strong at the buckle lock. I think it looks great and blends with the interior of my truck very well.I now can put stuff under my seat without it sliding forward on the floor,good product.

Etrailer service was excellent, ordered Sunday, package was sitting on my porch when I got home Wednesday. Like some previous review's, I feel the unit is pricey for what it is. It fits my new 2016 2500 HD Silverado crew cab perfectly. However, the strap was not long to reach behind the seat post, so like a previous review I ran the strap around the base of the seatbelt in the center. It held everything i wanted to store with the exception of my 4 way lug wrench that I use for my boat trailer. However it does hold my 4ton bottle jack and various other tools that i like to have with me when traveling with my boat. I believe it will hold up well for the long term as it is well supported by the cab floor.

Had this organizer for one year now and I don't know how I ever survived without it. Stops clutter on the floor and is a great place for you first aid kit and extinguisher.
I keep my gloves for fueling with diesel there and any other small items I like to have in the cab.

Husky quality seems very good. Fit is perfect, with a factory look. Installed on a 2017 F150 Super Crew over factory rear mats, using the provided single strap. Well worth the money for organizing things (fire extinguisher, jumper cables, straps and some basic tools) without having them sliding around the floor.

I was really concerned about how the item would actually work as far as sliding from side to side. When I got the Gear Box and strapped it in I was still a little skeptical. However, once I got it in place and snugged down the strap. loaded it with my equipment and put the seats down, I tried to move it. I found that it was completely secured and did not move at all. well worth the $$. After purchasing a truck and spending 50K + on a GMC Denali 1500 P/U, I am relieved that it looks like original equipment. Love the product, looks and functions as advertised. Thanks Husky

I received the storage box when expected and installed it under the rear seat of my double-cab Silverado 1500 2015 truck without encountering any issues. Fit perfectly over the top of my 'over the hump' WeatherTech rear floor mat, with no clearance issues. People who have seen the storage box state that it looks like it's an integrated component of the truck. Fits great and looks like oem seat base when the seat is down. The strap was long enough to mount where is was suppose to. It does limit the size of items you put under the seat now, but they stay put and don't slide out.
