Note: This dual-arm rack reduces the need for a bike frame adapter bar (sold separately) to mount a children's, women's, or alternative frame bicycle. However, to mount certain bikes or to keep your bike level on the rack, a bike adapter bar may be required. Most step-through bikes, dual-suspension bikes, and small children's bikes will require a bike adapter bar.

Thule Raceway PRO

The Raceway PRO trunk-mounted bike rack lets you carry 3 bikes on the back of your vehicle with no hassle and plenty of style. The rack sets up in minutes with Thule's patented FitDial system, and your bikes ride on shock-absorbing anti-sway cradles engineered to cushion and grip the frames. For added peace of mind, the rack includes One-Key System lock cylinders that allow you to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle.

Anti-Sway Cradles with Road Dampening Technology (RDT)

The Raceway PRO's Hold Fast anti-sway cradles are steeply curved to hold your bikes in place, and they include thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) cushions with road dampening technology (RDT). The stretchy, gel-like TPE layer absorbs road shock and minimizes vibration to reduce stress on your bike frames during transport.

Hold Fast Anti-Sway Cradles with RDT

Removable No-Sway cages grip your bikes by the downtubes to prevent sway, front-to-back movement, and bike-to-bike contact. TPE strips on each cage cushion your bike frames and protect them from scratches and scuff marks.

TPE cradle straps with reinforced holes

Strong, flexible TPE straps wrap around your bike frames and hold them firmly in the cradles. Reinforced attachment holes maximize hold and durability.

Patented FitDial System

Thule Raceway PRO FitDial

The Raceway PRO uses Thule's patented FitDial system to ensure a snug fit on your vehicle and to make installation a snap. The included instructions indicate which FitDial number is right for your vehicle. To set the rack up, simply lift the center levers, adjust the base until the arrow lines up with the right number, and close the levers to lock in your setting.

THRacewayXTRangeofMotion

The rack base opens and closes like a clamshell, so it fits snugly on just about any trunk or rear hatch, and it clears most factory spoilers.

Sure-Tight Retractable Cables

4 Sure-Tight braided steel cables with coated hooks attach the rack firmly to your vehicle's trunk or rear hatch. These cables won't fatigue over time like nylon straps, and they're a lot more difficult to cut than nylon straps.

Oversize ratcheting knobs let you precisely tighten each cable. To secure the rack to your vehicle, simply pull up on the release levers to deploy the cables. With the hooks in place on your trunk, turn the ratcheting knobs to tighten the cables until the rack is snug against your vehicle.

Sleeves and Pads Protect Your Trunk

TPE cable sleeves and pad protect paint finishes

The Sure-Tight cables and hooks are coated with durable nylon, and the cables have movable sleeves that help protect your vehicle's paint from scuffs and scratches. Contoured TPE pads on the rack's upper and lower bases grip your trunk or rear hatch to keep the rack firmly in place during transport.

Independently Adjustable Arms

The Raceway PRO has adjustable dual arms that provide excellent bike support and make loading and unloading your bikes easy. The arms adjust up and down and side to side, independent of the base and each other. To adjust an arm, simply pull the arm lever, move the arm to the desired position, and close the lever. These levers also let you fold the arms down for storage.

Adjusting the arms up and down ensures that your bikes are level during transport and helps to provide adequate ground clearance.

Adjusting the space between the dual arms aids in bike loading, and it allows the rack to carry a wide variety of bike styles, including children's and alternative frames.

Complete Security for Bikes and Rack

Built-in cable lock with One-Key cylinder

The Raceway PRO has an integrated cable lock that secures the outermost bike to the rack.

Raceway with locking lever covers

And release lever covers keep dirt and grime out of the cable release levers and they lock so you can secure the rack to your vehicle. Since you cannot release the cables without pressing the levers, the locking covers offer an effective anti-theft device for the rack.

Thule One-Key System locks offer single key convenience

The cable lock and the locking covers have One-Key System cylinders that are keyed alike so you only need a single key for the rack. One-Key System lock cylinders can be swapped out if you own other Thule products and want to use the same key to lock them all.

Convenient Storage

The Rack folds flat for compact storage in your trunk or garage. Simply open the center levers, fold up the rack, and close the levers to lock it in the closed position.

Video Transcript for Thule Raceway PRO 2 Bike Rack Review

Today we're going to be reviewing the Thule Raceway Pro, 2-Bike, Trunk Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH9001PRO. This is also available as a 3-bike rack with part number TH9002PRO. The Thule Raceway has a lot of unique features, we're going to start out with how it fits on the vehicle. It has these nice rubber padded protectors as well as the vinyl coated hooks so it's going to protect the paint and finish on our vehicle. Right here in the cradles, it's RDT technology, this is going to be Road Damping Technology providing a nice cushion ride for your bicycle. It's also going to feature your anti-sway cradles so your bikes don't make contact with one another. It's got the fully adjustable arms that way you can scoot them closer together, separate them, you can also change the angle so it's going to fit a wide variety of bikes.

Right here you're going to notice that it has the patented fit dial system so it's also going to fit a wide variety of vehicles. There going to be a lock located on each end of the bike rack. These locks are lock the rack to the vehicle for full security. Here on the end of one of the arms, we're going to find a cable lock system so not only does your rack lock and secure to your vehicle but it's also going to lock your bikes to the rack. It's going to use the same key system so any of the keys provided will work on any of the locks on the rack. The Thule Raceway is constructed of a gas injected molded nylon which makes it very strong and durable but yet light-weight. This bike rack has the carrying capacity of two bikes with the weight capacity of 70 pounds.

The distance between the adjustable arms, from outside cradle to outside cradle, can range from 6 1/2 inches to 10 1/2 inches. Now when loading up a woman's bike, alternative frame bike or a children's bike, you may need to use the Thule Bike Adapter Bar that's available right here at etrailer.com, sold separately with part number TH982XT. Now we're going to show you how to install the Raceway on your vehicle. As you can see it folds up nice and compact for easy and convenient storage. Now you want to refer to the Thule Fit Guide, you can either use our website or they're going to include a fit guide in the instructions. It's going to show you how you need to adjust your arms and where your arms need to be sitting in relation to your particular vehicle. On ours today, we need to go ahead and set our fit dial to the appropriate number, once we have it set, we can close these tabs right here, it's going to lock that upper arm in place.

Now for our particular fit, our upper arm needs to sit here on top of the trunk and then our lower arm needs to seating on the upper tier of our bumper. Now we did go ahead and clean our surface so you want to make sure you do that before installing this. Once we have this situated correctly on our trunk, the next thing to do will be to go ahead and place our hooks. Now these have the nice protectors right here that way it protects the cable but mainly it's going to protect the finish on your vehicle. To adjust the cable, to get the hook in the proper place, we need to open up this cover here, place one of the four included keys in there, move it to an unlock position and then lower the hatch door there. You can see that we have an arrow pointing up that's going to indicate this cable here, pull that back, it's going to allow it to extend out and then we can place the vinyl coated hook directly into that gap right there on our trunk. We're going to use the ratcheting side handle to just get that line snug for now that why we can position the other three cables.

Now we need to place our bottom hooks. To do so, we're going to repeat the same process, flip up on this lever here, it's going to allow us to gain some slack in the cable. Now in some applications, you're going to have to open the trunk in order to get the hook to fit. For ours today, we found out that we can go to the side of our trunk and get the hook to fit in there and then just slide it to where it needs to be positioned. Once we have it there, we can use the larger dial to operate the lower cable. I'm just going to tighten in up and remove any slack. With our rack in place, we can go and fine tune it, make sure everything is nice and tight and secure and then we can close these locking covers. Now once these are locked in place, you can see how that cover cannot be removed so that nobody can gain access to those little levers, loosen up the cables to remove it from our rack. It's fully locked on there and secured. The Thule Raceway can stay on your vehicle even when you don't have any bikes installed. You just want to make sure that your arms are in a down position. Now we're ready to load up our bike. First thing we need to do, open up the lever to allow us to adjust our arms as needed. Now we want to make sure that our arms are level or slightly inclined. Once we have it set to the correct position, all we got to do is close that lever and that arm is going to be secured in place. Now the next step to loading our bike is to undo the cradle straps. It's going to open up our cradles, allowing them to receive the frame of our bike once we have it placed in there. Now we're ready to load up one of our bikes. We're simply just going to take it, place it onto our frame cradles, now if you come in here you can see that these have little grooves in it that's to accommodate if we have any cables mounted underneath the frame. Once we have that in place, we can simply bring our straps over and tighten them down around the frame of our bike. Go and secure the anti-sway. It's going to prevent the bikes from swaying back and forth making contact with one another. Now with the second bike loaded, we can bring our cable lock system over the frame on our bike, place into the groove right there, lock into place that's going to keep anybody from being able to take this bike off the rack which if you can't this bike off the rack, you're not going to be able to get your first bike off the rack either. Now Thule also includes a nice blue strap, this can be intertwined through the bikes' frames and the bikes' wheels that way it's going to ensure that your bike wheels don't rotate, twist and turn as you're going down the road. Really simple installation, all we're going to do is take it through the wheels here on our bike, we're going to run it through both bikes. Simply take it through the other wheels as well and then we're just going to connect it to itself. Once we have that strap ran through the buckle, we simply just pull on one end, take out any slack within the strap. Now another option for attaching the blue strap is to run it through that lower frame on the Thule Raceway, through the bike frames and simply just run it through the strap. You've got numerous ways on which you can install the blue strap that Thule provides. Just keep in mind that it's meant for additional security. Now that we've gone over the features of the bike rack and showed you how to install it, we'll go ahead and take it out on our test course and show you how it performed in action. First, we're going to hit our slalom course, this is going to show you the side to side movement of the bike rack which simulates evasive maneuvering or having to make sharp turns or corners. Then we're going to hit the alternating bumps course, this is going to show you the twisting action of the bike rack which will simulate going over uneven pavement or hitting a pothole. Finally, we're going to take it through the solid bumps course, this is going to show you the up and down movement of the bike rack which is going to simulate going in and out of your driveway or going over a speed bump. That's going to complete today's review of the the Thule Raceway Pro, Trunk Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9001PRO. .

2014 Fiat 500L

Just purchased this bike rack after returning one to amazon.com which wasn't a good fit. I'm using this rack for my 2014 Fiat 500L. It works fine, but I learned that to get a fit which doesn't interfere with the rear wiper blade. the lower arm with the good cushioning must actually rest above the license plate rather than resting on the rear bumper. I first tried resting it on the rear bumper, but discovered that the upper arm when set at #10, (per fit guide) rests against the wiper rather than against the glass. So, I will be moving it above the rear license plate to get a better fit. It might have worked against the wiper, but that would have been risky. Very simple to install!! 291035

Love the ability to adjust it based on the bike size and structure. A little more challenging when you have multiple bikes, sizes and structures to adjust them all to fit. Has worked well for me. 678900

This product is very sturdy, easy to install and sleek looking on the vehicle. The only disadvantage I have encountered so far is that the bike cradles are a little small. I have a mountain bike and it doesn’t quite snuggle down into the carrier cradle. My road bike fits perfectly. 522291

Hey Noah thanks, the bike rack is awesome it fits great on all three of my vehicles. I don’t have to worry about using only one vehicle ,but what keeps me from giving a star 5 are these straps to secure the bike. They are weak and they brake make them stronger.I need new straps please. Thank you. 718802

2013 Toyota RAV4

First install on my 2013 Rav 4 was dicey as I am 5'3" and the Thule Raceway is a little heavy and getting clips inserted into top of hatchback was tricky. Once on - it is great, very stable and the cables are a huge improvement over long straps flapping everywhere. I love that I can lock down the arms when not in use. I was concerned that I would not receive this in time for a trip but delivery & customer service @ etrailer was also a very good experience! 269260

I'm really happy with this Thule bike rack. I've used it on several long distance drives and short drives since getting it. I got one that was already damaged, so the price was reduced. Etrailer had pictures of the damage and explained what was wrong with it, so I knew what I was purchasing. I have a vw jetta diesel wagon, and the rack is solid on it, without the stabilizer straps, which saves some fuss. Tips: to get those top clips on, I do have to to take the cable straps out, and work the clips in from the sides - the top of the tailgate is just a very tight gap. The bottom ones I kind of have to press hard on to pop them in. I needed adapter bars for both our bikes. Bikes need to have a straight top tube to fit on this rack; no fiddling them on in weird ways like my old rack. But with the adapter tubes (and I got $10 ones, not the Thule specific) it is very easy to lift them on and strap them down. 242370

Subaru Outback Wagon

Fits perfectly on my Subaru Outback. Very easy to use and holds our bikes securely with the appropriate amount of spacing and high quality rubber straps (and an anti-sway strap) to ensure they aren't scratched or dinged. Rubber coating on the cables protects the car from damage as well. I've tried the less expensive trunk mounts and was considering a hitch. After reading the product reviews for the Raceway, I decided to go with it and I'm quite happy I did. It's an extremely high quality product that works perfectly without the hassle (and expense) of having to get a hitch installed. 154539

Review from a similar Thule Raceway PRO in Trunk Bike Racks

Overall, this rack is stable and secure. Two design issues that I have not loved have been the weight and the inability for it to stay folded up. I use a strap to address that. Since purchase, the wheel tray has not locked in place in 2 out of 4 places. Something is not right there. For the cost, I would have expected better quality. 653987

Review from a similar Thule Raceway PRO in Trunk Bike Racks

Giving it an excellent for ease of use/set up as well as perceived quality. I posses no mechanical ability. At. All. None. I understood this easily and was able to get it set up for my 2015 Accord with little effort and no problems. The videos on the eTrailers web site were a huge help. Rose from ETrailer was the other great help. Seems solid and very secure after mounting two bikes on it. Purchased one Thule adapter bar for my ladies bike. Worked great. 211668

One year later- An Update: Found that the anti-sway rocker cradles which fit vertically tend to bend. I had used the rack for a trip from Metro Detroit to Ludington and back. By the time I returned the vertical cradle was bent from the wind pulling the bike away from the trunk of the car. These guys replaced it. But Im not sure how to prevent it in the future. I am happy with this bike rack and do fee its very secure and stable. Im happy.

Review from a similar Thule Raceway PRO in Trunk Bike Racks

Recently bought the Thule Raceway 2 bike carrier to haul my mountain bike on my sedan (and stop stealing the wife's minivan!). As usual, it was delivered very quickly by eTrailer with great customer service. I spent my time hooking it up the first time, but still only took about 20 minutes...I can now get in on and off in just a few minutes easy. On the plus side, it seems very sturdy on my 2007 Lexus ES350 and I have had no issues carrying my mountain bike on highways, side streets, etc. The design is clean, sleek, and the product well constructed overall. The challenges / negatives with this rack: 1) tough to fit a full suspension MTB given the frame geometry (which I knew was a gamble on my part with this or likely any trunk rack)...but I was able to make it fit for my Specialized SJ FSR Comp 29er (without the claw bar, that makes it probably too low to the ground for my comfort). 2) one of the cables on the lower hook locks up periodically when retracting. 3) I do appear to have 2 little indentations in my bumper from where the lower part of the rack was resting, but I can live with it. Bottom line: this trunk rack is a lot easier to put on than most and does the job stylishly well. I'd recommend it. 49568

Review from a similar Thule Raceway PRO in Trunk Bike Racks

It was delivered earlier than expected. This morning I placed it on my Subaru Outback and it was very easy to do. I mounted my 2 bikes without any problem. I did placed the men's bike first, and the woman's bike second. It was very easy for the woman's bike as it was for the men's. I was worried that my woman's bike would be difficult but it wasn't. The padding is adequate and not as hard as other reviewers described. I drove to my destination - about 45 miles away- at a speed of 75 miles per hour and the bike rack did hold tight the whole time. I love the fact that has a key to lack the rack to the car and the bikes to the rack. I will definitely recommend it. Great job design team! 53490

Review from a similar Thule Raceway PRO in Trunk Bike Racks

I got this rack for my 2016 Mazda 3(sedan) and it fits great. The bikes I put on it are BMX Racing bikes(about 20lbs each). I like how easy it is to install and remove the rack, and the locking system is awesome. The reason I got this rack over the Raceway Pro was because the platform keeps the tires from moving(which is useful when you put more than one bike on the rack). 517873

A year later and I havent had any problems from the bike rack. I recently got a new car Mazda 6, and the rack still fits because of its adjustability.

Then for a bike carrier you can use # TH934XTR...

  • 3 Bike Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2012 Mazda 5
I attached a link to a page that has all of the 3 bike trunk racks we carry that are a fit for your 2012 Mazda 5. The one I recommend is the Thule Raceway part # TH9002PRO. What makes this rack far superior to the others is the attachment system. It uses 4 retractable coated steel cables to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 nylon straps like other racks. This makes installation quick and easy and the cables also last longer. The cables store inside the rack so there are no loose...

  • Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2015 Subaru Outback
The 2015 Subaru Outback has that piece at the top of the rear hatch that is like a spoiler. Because of that there is only one trunk mount bike rack I recommend; the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2 for 2 bikes or # HRF2-3 for 3 bikes. These racks have an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works. The Thule...

You are correct that the Thule Raceway PRO 3-Bike Rack - Trunk Mount # TH9002PRO has been confirmed by Thule to fit a 2017 BMW X1. On occasion, manufacturers make changes to fit guides after their initial release, which was the case with this rack.

  • Compatibility of Thule Raceway Pro 3-Bike Rack TH9002PRO on 2015 Ford Explorer with Rear Spoiler
The roofline spoiler on your 2014 Ford Explorer is new on this series and you are indeed wise to be concerned about bike rack fits with this cosmetic feature. The Thule Raceway PRO # TH9002PRO 3-bike trunk-mount rack uses four nylon-coated cables for attachment; two of these go up over the spoiler to attach to the roof rack. While the spoiler will not really bear the weight of the carrier and bikes, it will surely have pressure put on it. We do offer a specialized carrier from Hollywood...

  • Will 16 and 12 inch Kids Bikes Fit with an Adapter on a Thule Trunk Rack on a 2000 Toyota Avalon
The Thule Raceway 3 bike carrier, # TH9002PRO, and 2 bike carrier, # TH9002PRO, are both listed as a fit for your 2000 Toyota Avalon, see link. When using an adapter bar like # Y02531, you need to have the proper clearance to install the adapter between the seat post and handle bar gooseneck. The adapter bar I recommended measures 14-1/2 inches at its shortest so it will work with the 15-1/2 inch measurement you listed for your daughters bike.

  • Trunk mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2013 Cadillac SRX
There are trunk mount bike racks listed as a fit for the 2013 Cadillac SRX, see link. However, there is one thing that you will need to look at first. If the vehicle has the plastic trim piece (spoiler) at the top that would interfere with the hooks or cables then you cannot use a trunk mount bike rack. That spoiler is not rated to support the weight of a rack. If you determine you can use a trunk mount bike rack then I recommend going with the Thule Raceway, # TH9002PRO. I actually...

The weight capacity is 105 lbs for 3 bikes on all of the Thule bike racks. When using the Thule bike racks you will not be able to use the rear wiper on your vehicle. • Can the Rear Hatch be Opened on a 2011 VW Jetta SportWagen with a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Attached
For any trunk mount bike rack, you cannot open the trunk or hatch when the bike rack is still attached. The hinges and other parts of the trunk lid were not designed to handle the additional weight if the rack. The rack will also not be properly secured and it could fall. There are several trunk mount bike racks that will fit your 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen. I have included a link to them for you. • Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2012 Honda Pilot that Will Also be Towing a Trailer
There are trunk mount bike racks that will fit the 2012 Honda Pilot, see link, but the Thule racks will not fit. Out of the available options for 3 bikes (there are no 4-bike options that we carry) I recommend Yakimas KingJoe Pro 3, # Y02625. This rack has a unique design that is compatible with many vehicles. There are ways to tow a trailer and use a hitch mount rack together. You can use dual-purpose ball mount # D210. The overall tongue weight of everything loaded on this ball mount...

  • Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2006 Honda Odyssey
The only 3 bike trunk mounted bike rack we carry that is confirmed to fit your 2006 Honda Odyssey is the Hollywood Racks Over the Top Trunk Rack part # HRF2-3. This is a great rack that shouldn't damage your vehicle as long as you stay under the capacity of the rack and install it properly. The most ideal solution though would be a hitch mounted bike rack since the rack wouldn't touch your vehicle at all. First you would need a hitch, for that I would recommend the Draw-Tite part # 75270....

  • Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon
Yes, the Thule Raceway 3 Bike Carrier, # TH9002PRO, will work great on your 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon. I recently had the chance to install this rack on a vehicle and it is the easiest to install and remove trunk mount rack that I have used. For this reason, this is the rack I personally would choose for a trunk mount rack. You will need to remove the rack to open the rear of the vehicle because the bottom support on the rack will rest on the top of the bumper when properly installed,...

  • Best Trunk Mount Bike Rack to Prevent Scratches or Dents on 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
For your 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class the best trunk-mount bike rack is the Thule Raceway PRO 3-Bike Rack # TH9002PRO. This rack is confirmed to fit your vehicle and unlike most other trunk-mounted racks which require 6 points of contact, this particular unit only uses 4 cables with hooks to attach to the trunk. The fewer contacts points along with the nylong cable covers, TPE sleeves, and molded rubberized base pads will all contribute to providing a rack that has very little chance of causing...

  • Bike Rack Recommendations for Carrying a Single and Tandem Bikes on a 2008 Toyota Prius
I checked with Thule and the Thule Raceway 3 Bike Carrier # TH9002PRO is confirmed to fit your 2008 Toyota Prius. The biggest limiting factor for whether or not you could carry your tandem bike plus your 2 other bikes will be the weight of your bikes and the length of your tandem bike. The weight limit for this rack is 105 pounds, which I believe you would pretty easily exceed with your tandem bike plus your other two bikes. What you could do is put your two bikes on the # TH9002PRO,...

We have not heard back from any of our customers about how the Raceway PRO # TH9002PRO impacts the factory spoiler on their Subaru Forester. I recommend checking out the spoiler on your Forester to determine if it is a plastic spoiler or a metal spoiler that is integrated in the door. If the spoiler is metal and part of the door, the Thule Raceway PRO # TH9002PRO will work well. A metal spoiler is stronger and can hold up better to the weight of the rack and your bikes. I've attached a...

Your vehicle is compatible with a broad variety of 3-bike carriers, all of which can be seen on the link provided. Note that trunk-mount carriers will prevent use of the rear wiper. The differences between the Thule Raceway # TH9002PRO and Passage # TH911XT trunk mount bike racks are many. The Raceway is the top of the line model. I actually own this rack and it is the best trunk mount rack I have ever used. The arms move independently of the rest of the rack. It comes with an integrated cable lock in the last bike position. And the cables can be locked into place to deter theft. The best feature is the retractable cable system. The 4 retractable cables are easy...

  • Will the Thule Raceway 3 Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2005 Volvo XC70
According to Thule, the Raceway 3, # TH9002PRO, will fit your 2005 Volvo XC70. In order to determine if the childrens bikes will fit, the tire size is not the deciding factor. The frame size is what is important for a hanging rack. While the rack has narrowly spaced arms (6-1/2 to 10-1/2 inches measured outside to outside) that will hold a wide variety of bikes, you may find that you need an adapter bar, # TH982XT for any bikes that will not fit or have an alternative style frame.

While the Thule Raceway PRO 3-Bike Rack # TH9002PRO is not a confirmed fit for your 2011 Lexus RX 350, I have included a listing of available 3 bike trunk mounted carriers that will work. My recommendation would be the Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack # SA803. Saris provides a limited lifetime warranty as well so...

  • Bike Carrying Options for 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
If your Impreza WRX does not have a spoiler, a trunk mounted rack would be the most convenient option. Although we offer many different racks that are a confirmed fit, I would recommend the Thule Raceway, part # TH9002PRO. Typically, a trunk mounted rack would use straps and buckles that need to be adjusted each time the rack is installed or removed, which can be an awkward and time consuming process. The Raceway uses 4 retractable cables that allow the rack to be installed or removed in...

  • Trailer Hitch and Bike Carrier Recommendations for a 2010 Honda Odyssey
The safest way to carry bikes is by using a trailer hitch and hitch mounted bike carrier. Trunk mount carriers only go up to 3 bikes, any more than that and it would put way too much stress on the attachment points on the vehicle. And the roof is probably not wide enough for all 4 bikes, let alone able to support the weight of 4 bikes. So the options are a combination of a trunk mount and roof mount set up or a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike carrier. I recommend the simplicity of...

The way that Thule does part numbers is when there is a major change, a part will get an XT added to it, then PRO. So basically what we have here is TH9002XT, the previous generation, and # TH9002PRO, the newest generation. The XT is going to be going away once they are all sold and all that will be left is the PRO. The PRO has advantages. I have the original design, before XT, and it is an awesome rack but is nothing compared to the PRO. Everything is upgraded and the PRO is the lightest...
