Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of heavy-duty, rustproof aluminum for harsh climates.
Features:
Heavy-duty strength in a lightweight package: the TorkLift Talon tie-downs are the premium choice for heavy truck campers and unforgiving climates. Made of military-grade aluminum alloy, the removable arms are rustproof and robust while also being lightweight and easy to handle. The receiver brackets are constructed of rugged stainless steel, and both components are protected by a high-impact powder coat finish that guards against wear and tear.
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity is going to sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush to the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not using them and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Torklift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Aluminum Front Camper Tie-Downs. Now these tie-downs have been designed to fit your 2023 and newer Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty with the six-and-three-quarter foot bed. Now it is important that you take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. You do want to confirm that these are gonna work on your vehicle whether or not you have a step or a board underneath your bed or depending on the hitch that you're currently using, so make sure to confirm the fit through our fit guide just to make sure that you are ordering exactly what you need.
But as you probably know, these tie-downs are gonna give you the attachment points that you need at the front of the bed of your truck for securing a bed-mounted camper. Of course, these are going to pair with rear tie-downs, and you can find the rear tie-downs that will work with these front tie-downs again through our vehicle fit guide. The frame-mounted design is going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to the base of your truck instead of its bed is going to better distribute weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy. These stainless steel receiver brackets are going to fit tight to the frame of your truck, so you're not gonna have to worry about losing any ground clearance, and then the rust-proof, lightweight, aluminum alloy tie-downs are going to insert securely into the durable stainless steel receiver brackets. So lemme give you a brief demonstration of just how easy these are gonna be to remove and replace.
I'm gonna go ahead and remove this included bale pin here, and that's going to allow me to easily slide the aluminum alloy insert out just like that, and, if you notice, we do have these two holes here on the insert, so if your camper is a little bit wider, you can use that first hole for the insert to stick out the farthest that it can, or maybe your camper is a little bit narrower, you can use that second hole there to bring that in a little bit closer. And then what's nice about this particular kit is vinyl caps and foam plugs are included with this kit, so when you remove the inserts and you maybe throw them in the back of the cab of your truck or something, you can use these plugs and these caps to keep junk from getting into the receiver brackets. You'll just slide the Styrofoam plug to the back of the receiver bracket, and then you'll go ahead and pop the vinyl cap over the front just like this, and it's a tight fit so it might take a little bit of wiggling around there just to get that in place, but that really gives it a nice finished look. These are gonna be pretty much undetectable anyway when you have these installed and you don't have the inserts in, but those caps are going to not only look pretty sharp on there but also keep debris and junk from getting in there when you don't have the inserts in those brackets, so that's a nice addition to this kit. Then you're just gonna be able to pop them off and then reinsert the inserts like so, and I'm gonna go ahead and put it in that second hole there, just to make sure I have enough room on my table, and then I'll go ahead and replace the bale pin just like that, and then that's going to secure the insert into the bracket just like that.
Now the brackets and the inserts do feature a high-impact powder-coat finish. It's gonna give you an extra layer of protection. You are going to receive everything that you see here on my table before me. You're going to get the two front tie-down inserts, the frame brackets, the necessary hardware that I have here in this bag, instructions to guide you through the installation process, and everything that you see here. This is going to use pre-existing holes in the frame of your truck, so there's gonna be little-to-no drilling required.
These are made here in the USA. They do have a lifetime warranty from Torklift, and, again, if you're looking for the rear tie-downs as well just go through the fit guide, and our fit guide will point you in the right direction. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
