Custom-fit camper tie-downs permanently mount to your truck's body to distribute the weight of your camper and limit movement in all directions. Low-profile attachment points are discrete and rear anchors remove for a clean look.
Features:
The HappiJac Direct-to-Frame design ensures proper distribution of your camper's weight and helps prevent your camper from moving in all directions for a safe and secure ride. The front tie-down brackets attach to your truck bed's frame, between the bed and the cab, allowing the tie-downs to become integral parts of your truck. Already, this sets them apart from stake-pocket-mounted tie-downs, which secure the entire load of your camper to the tops of your bed rails, forming a top-heavy setup that can create an uncomfortable and unnatural ride.
An I-beam stabilizing bar (sold separately) installs horizontally between the front brackets to help create a truss-like structure that spans the width of your bed, down to both corners of your bumper, where the rearmost tie-downs install. Holding the camper taut at these 4 corners - as opposed to along the sides of your bed, like you'd find with other tie-down systems - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel.
In addition to the Direct-to-Frame design, the included centering guide lock assemblies further help to prevent shifting. Each assembly includes a bumper pad and roller, and they attach to each front tie-down bracket.
Attach the assembly to the bracket so that the roller runs along the side of your camper to help guide the camper into place while you're mounting it. Because the centering guide lock assemblies are positioned at the sides of your camper, they too will help hold your camper in place by inhibiting side-to-side movement.
When you're not hauling your camper, you don't have to worry about bulky brackets sticking out of your truck, creating an eyesore or hazard. The front anchor plates remain permanently installed between your cab and truck bed, leaving only the discrete anchor points just behind your cab visible.
The rear tie-downs attach to the corners of your rear bumper. And with a quick quarter-turn, each rear anchor removes from the bracket to create a clean look.
HappiJac components are constructed of sturdy steel for a reliable and stable ride. The powder coated front tie-downs and chrome-plated rear anchors both resist rust and corrosion.

Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the HappiJac custom tie-downs for truck bed campers. Now this is going to be for the 2014 through 2018 GMC Sierra trucks and also the Chevy Silverado trucks. To be sure that this is going to be a specific fit for your particular truck, it's a good idea to go through our fit guide here at etrailer.com, put in your year, make and model and then go from there. So basically this is going to give us a secure anchor point for our turnbuckles to hold down our in bed camper.
So these are going to mount to the bulkhead of your truck bed, so that front part right behind your tab. And it does need to work in conjunction with a stabilizing bar for the HappiJac custom fit jacks. Now that can be purchased separately, you can also get a kit with these both together. That's also available here at etrailer.com if you want to get them together, or you can reuse that stabilizer bar if you already have the system. These will mount there, and then these sort of L-shape brackets will mount to that. The black brackets will be mounted to the front of the bulkhead, so these are going to kind of be sticking out between our cab and our bed, and this will be our front anchor point.
So these kind of sandwich together against the bulkheads sort of like that. So our truck bed will be in between, and then we'll have these two brackets. That will be our front attachment point. At the rear we'll have these brackets to go on our bumper. So the screw will go and place a secure semi flat spot on your bumper, and then you can attach the little angled bracket there, and that'll be our attachment point for our turn buckles at the back.So it comes with everything you need to get that installed.
It's going to be a really secure system. Everything's going to be frame-mounted, so it's going to engage really strongly and securely. We also get all the hardware. Each kit is labelled, so we'll have kit A, B, C, D, and E and then also these spacers to get everything mounted up properly. So this is going to be a very sturdy construction to hold your camper tightly inside your truck bed, so you don't have to worry about any side-to-side sway or any front-to-back movement.
These two brackets are going to be mounted at the front, and these are basically just going to be your guide plates and guide brackets. And these are not going to center your camper, but once it's centered in there, these help it to stay centered. So they're kind of just like little bumpers to take up any kind of gap there, so there's no shifting side-to-side or front-to-back. So it helps everything stay nice and secure. You don't have to feel like your camper's kind of wiggling around or any kind of movement in your truck bed. Again, that stabilizing bar is sold separately here at etrailer.com. That part number is LC182971 and you can find that right here at etrailer.com. You can also find the actual turnbuckles, either just the standard stainless steel style or you can also get the quick load, which are a little bit easier to use. Either one of those are also available here, and you can find those in the related products parts on our product page here at etrailer.com. That's going to do it for our look at the HappiJacs custom tie-downs for truck bed camper..
