These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of sight and out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these bull ring flush fit retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stake pockets. These heavy duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and give you tie-down points to secure your load. And they're going to work with your S-Hook and J-Hook connections. And these are custom fit and they're designed to fit the 2001 to 2014 Ford F-150 regular cab and super cab. And then the 2003 to 2014 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab.
Then the 2010 to 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor Super Cab. And then finally the 2011 to 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor Super Crew Cab. To confirm that these are going to fit your vehicle take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Insert the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now while your factory anchor points are inside of your bed where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points, install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails and they're gonna be very easy to use.
You're going to simply pop the anchor ring up. Just like that when you want to use it to secure a load. And then when you are done, you just hit it down flush when you don't need it, and as you can see they're going to be out of your way sitting flush. By the way, this flush fit is compatible with most of your tonneau covers. So again, when you have these installed, it's going to be very easy to use when you need it.
You just pull the ring up until it pops, just like that and it's going to hold securely. It's not going to accidentally slip down or anything like that. It's going to stay in place the whole time while you need it. And then when you're done, just push it down firmly and then it is out of your way. These anchor points have a weight capacity of 1,000 pounds.
They are constructed of stainless steel so that's going to help resist rust and corrosion. And then the nylon lower body here is going to reduce sound. Now these are going to match the grain and color of your Ford bed rails and it's going to give you a factory look. And if you notice we have a nice classic polished stainless steel finish. It's going to look really nice on your F-150. So installation is pretty quick and easy with these and for the most part, it requires nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver. I will point out that a rail cap trim is required for installation for the hidden stake pockets on the five foot bed trucks. And so I would recommend taking a look at the bull ring rail cap router bit and I have an example of one right here in my hand. And if you are in need of this, on your screen, I am including our item number for this router bit. It's going to make installation a whole lot easier when you are trimming out those caps. So this is going to make it a whole lot easier. So if you need to do some trimming and you have a five foot bed, I would recommend picking this up as well. So if you do need to do some trimming, after you have that trimming taken care of, you are gonna want to use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the two screws in the anchor. And for our purposes, I went ahead and loosened these screws to allow me to save some time here in removing them. And then once you have the screws removed, you're going to hold this plate here until the lower steel plate drops down. Just like that. And then holding this cover, you're going to then want to guide the anchor into the hole from the side of the bed. And then you're going to just probably have to put this in at an angle or maybe side to side to get that into your stake pocket. And then once you have this in your stake pocket, you're going to then pull up on the cover, catching this lower bracket onto the truck sheet metal. And then once you have that making contact with that sheet metal, you're going to hold the ring and allow the cover to drop into place and then insert the screws and hand tighten them. And that's how easy these are going to be to install. And again, you don't wanna over tighten these. Hand tightening then is going to be sufficient. And then that's it. They're gonna be installed, they're gonna be ready to go. So a set of four of these, you should have these installed in no time at all. A little instruction sheet comes with this to walk you through the again, the very simple installation process that we went over with together. These do have a lifetime warranty. And again, these are going to be a very convenient way to add easy to reach anchor points on your truck. Allowing tying down and securing your load. Allowing that to be a very easy process for you. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
