These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of sight and out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

Specs:
If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at these BullRing flush fit retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stake pockets. These heavy duty anchors attach to your truck bed stake pockets, and they're gonna give you tie-down points to secure your load working with S-hook and J-hook connections. Now these are custom fit tie-down anchors that are designed to fit a 1995 to 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup. The 2002 to 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 and 3500 Quad Cab The 2002 to 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 and 3500 Crew Cab and Regular Cab. The 2006 to 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 and 3500 Mega Cab, and the 2010 Ram 3500 Quad Cab.
The 2010 and newer Ram 3500 Crew Cab and Mega Cab and Regular Cab. And then finally, the 2022 and newer Hyundai Santa Cruz. To confirm if these are going to fit your truck, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and insert the year, make, and model of your truck, and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now while the factory anchor points are inside the bed of your truck where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points are going to install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails. And these are gonna be very easy to use after you have them installed.
You just simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure a load, and then when you're done with the ring and you don't need it anymore you just hit it down and it will sit flush with the rest of the body of the anchor, and that ring will be completely out of your way. So again, let me show you just how easy these are to use. You're just gonna pull this ring up firmly, and you hear that snap into place, and that is going to stay secured in that position. You're not gonna have to worry about this ring accidentally sliding down or slipping down back into the body of the anchor itself. It's going to stay up the whole time you need to secure a load with your straps, and then when you're done and you don't want those rings exposed, you want them out of your way, You just hit it down, push it down firmly, and that ring is out of your way.
The flush fit is compatible with most tunnel covers. And if you notice these feature a really nice, really attractive, black nickel, gun metal finish. It's gonna look really great on your truck. Now, these anchors do have a weight capacity of a thousand pounds. They're constructed of stainless steel, and that's going to resist rusting, corrosion, and installation for the most part is gonna be quick and easy and it requires on most vehicles, nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver.
So to install these, you are going to want to first remove any plastic cap that covers your stake pocket. However, I do wanna mention that on the 2009 and newer Ram trucks there will be some trimming that is required. Specifically, the rail cap will need to be cut out and then trimmed for proper installation of these anchors, and to make the job easier for you, BullRing has some bits that are available to help you with that trimming job. And we have a rail kit, a rail tap router bit, and a rear pocket saw bit that we have available here at etrailer.com, and I'm including our item numbers to those bits, and you just take those item numbers and put 'em in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com, and each one will take you to the appropriate part. And then on the Hyundai Santa Cruz you're going to need just that rail cap router bit to trim out the rail cap for proper fit. So once you remove the plastic caps or trim them out, whatever is needed on your particular truck, you are then going to loosen the two screws at the top here with your Phillips head screwdriver. And once you loosen these screws, and I went ahead and loosened these earlier for our purposes together, once you loosen 'em you just go ahead and remove the screws, and then that is going to allow this bottom steel plate bracket to drop freely, and then you're going to hold this top cover at an angle and guide that anchor into your stake pocket. And once you have it in that stake pocket you're going to pull up catching that lower bracket on the truck sheet metal. And then once you have made contact, just hold onto this ring, drop the cover, and then you go ahead and replace your screws and tighten them down. And then these will be installed. That's as easy, that's as easy as it is. It's virtually no hassle at all. When you tighten down these screws, hand tighten them only. You don't wanna over tighten. If you happen to notice that your plastic rail cap is starting to bend or bow then you are making these too tight. All you have to do is hand tighten them and then they will be installed. You are gonna get a set of six tie-down anchors and these do have a lifetime warranty. And overall I've been very impressed with the build quality of these anchors and very impressed with the ease of use. And I just really appreciate the fact that these rings will be available and secured in that position when you need them. Then when you're done, push them down and they're out of the way. And installation is going to be very easy as well. So if these meet the specs that you're looking for, and if these are gonna fit your truck, and this is something that you've been looking for, easy to access tie-downs, this might be a good option for you to consider. That's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
