Video Transcript for Topline Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Topline Truck Bed Mountain Bike Racks. Available as a single or all the way up to a four-bike capacity rack. The part number we're using today is UG2500. This is the two-bike version. At the end of our main arm, at our first bike, we have a fully-articulating hand, that allows us to connect into the seat post or also onto the top frame tube of our bike. It's rubber padded on the inside, it's going to give us the protection that we need for our bikes, we're not going to get any kind of scuffs or scratches. Each of our arms are going to be a full aluminum arm, it's going to keep it nice and lightweight, but also stay very corrosion resistant, that way it's going to look good for a long time. The rack is designed to clamp right onto the bed rail of our pickup truck.

Just right underneath there has an eye bolt here that helps to hold this in place but also gives us a great connection point for our 74-inch long security cable. As you can see it comes with the rack, can easily be fed through our two bikes here, come back and make a connection point, securing both our frames and our tires to our truck. Now this is the two-bike setup, so we're going to have our one main long-arm and then we have an addition arm here in the middle. Now this is a two-bike rack, as you can see it's holding two-bikes, another one of this would then turn it into a three-bike and then one more of those would turn it into a four-bike for us. Giving us a lot of room to expand our rack based on our needs. Now that we've gone over the features, let me show you how to get this installed, as you can see we've got the large eye bolt here, we just want to loosen that up, that's going to allow what they call our clamp to come out. We want this to be loosen up to slide underneath the bed rail of our pick-up. You can see it's got a nice angle back so it's going to get a good grip on just that lip area.

We'll bring it up around the underside of the bed there, as you can see that's going to slide in right there and butt in nicely right up against the edge. Now, we do have our rubber gasket, now our rubber gasket should be installed right up here in the corner, just pull the tape off the back, stick it right into position. That helps it get a good grab on our bed rails. Once we've got it in position here, where we want it on our rail, we'll tighten up one of our nuts just a little bit there, to give us a little bit of space, and then we'll tighten our eye bolt down. We'll feel that make a good connection. Tighten an eye bolt down and then we need to run our second nut right down against that one and tighten it down. Tighten that down just slightly to make it a good solid jam nut, right up on there, it's holding in place great.

We're now going to grab our longer curved piece, slide that right into position here, andt hen we can tighten down that rack T handle slightly just to hold it in place for now. Then we can load up our bike, we'll undo the black, large black wing nut here, or knob, allow that to tilt down the way, and that will allow us to open up our clamp. We have our bike here in the bed of the truck, we're just going to bring it and fit this right around the seat post, what's great about this rack is whether you're securing it to the top frame to there or the seat post, it doesn't matter. You've got your options, the clamp is designed to fit a bar that's up to an inch and a half in diameter, so you want to keep that in mind, a lot of times, this tube is going to be a little bit wider than that so the seat post is going to be here in your top option there. Now we'll just tighten down the large nut here. Until that gets good firm hold on our bike. We're also going to take this opportunity to secure our front tire, this should be in the forward position, where just our rear tire, so we've got the weight sitting directly down. The strap will come up through the metal.

Back down or outside there. Let's give that a tug to secure it. Hold everything nice and steady as we're heading down the road. Now for loading of the second bike, we're bringing our add-on, open the clamp just like we did on the first one, put it around and then tighten it down around the seat too. While we're doing that, we can be loosening our other clamp up on the other end of our extension. With that nice and secure, let's grab our other bike. Now we'll just bring our clamp around our seat tube here on the second bike. Then just tighten it down after we slide that t-bolt back into the slot. Right, again just like the first bike we're going to secure it. Let's bringing our strap around the front tire, around the frame of the bike, and then around on the tag end through the end of the strap. Tighten that down. We've got our bikes loaded up. Now let's go ahead and secure these. Now our bike rack does come with a cable lock. Easy to use, as you can see it's a self coiling style, so when it's not in use, it's nice and Compact. What we'll do is just stretch our cable out here. Going to go around the frames of our bike that you choose, you can go down through the rims. Those are usually pretty expensive on these bikes, so good to secure that and we'll just bring the ends together, clip them in and we're set and ready to head down the road. Good shape, as you can see. Nice and solid. The bikes aren't going to be going anywhere. Let's go out and see how it fairs as we go through our test course. We'll start by doing this slow, this is going to show you the side to side movement of the rack, just like if we we're changing lanes or maybe doing some evasive maneuvers. Once we make our way around the corner, we'll get into a series of alternating speed bumps, this is going to show us really good twisting and torquing action. We'll now get into the solid speed bumps. This is going to simulate a big bump in the road or maybe entering and exiting a parking garage, a parking lot or maybe a driver way. That'll complete today's look at the Topline Truck Bed Mounted Two-bike rack. Part number UG2500, also available on a one-bike, three-bike and a four-bike. .

Easy to install. Have not had the chance to haul my bikes yet. Seems sturdy enough. Will give it 5 stars if the bikes are transported with no problems. 569287

- UG2500

Simple, effective and clean I didn't want a hitch mount bike rack that gets all rusted, is too big to store easily and is a pain in the butt, so I ordered this device. It works like a dream! I can disassemble it and put it inside my truck in seconds and it isn't dirty or rusty. It's super light and it actually gets more solid with more bikes attached. It also secures the bikes well with the integrated lock system. Very well thought out. You have to strap your front tire(s) though or your bike will want to turn and will put forces on the system that it wasn't meant to handle. I neglected this step once and broke a piece, but the manufacturer sent me a replacement no charge, and quickly. 436

2000 Chevrolet Silverado

installed on a 2000 Chevy Silverado with bedliner (had to cut 3" hole) I also have a tool box on the bed, I use this holder on my road bike (trek ls5 carbon fiber frame). The instructions provided are photocopy and not too clear, the install its pretty much straight forward, it took me about 10-15 min (i had to cut a hole on the bedliner). The top tube of my bike does not fit the provided clamp and I use the seat post instead, the material used to build this holder seem sturdy enough specially for my bike since its really light. This holder works great for me due to the fact that I no longer have to remove the front tire to place on the bed holder I used to use. I have a tool box on the back of the truck so this limits the space but at the same time helps me lock the wheel in place in a certain angle. Easy and fast to use. So far I have used it on 2 trips, both I drove on pavement so not a lot of movement on the truck bed, Im happy with this solution and recommended to others. Custumer service was amazing, had a small question and they reached out quick. 573167

Follow up review. No issues at all, still holding up pretty good.

Great bike rack. I had to replace one of the boots that attaches the bike rack to the truck bed rail. The one that came with the bike rack would loosen up on bumpy roads. Now it doesn't move or loosen up on bumpy roads. Very good concept and works well. 570004

The Bed Bike Rack works great, I ordered 2 and I can mount 4 bikes in my truck and it holds them in nice and tight. My order came fast right to my front door with no problems - Great product. Thanks 92264

Did you connect the clamp to the side track? I used my topline with my F250 and Tundra but it wont mount to my 2012 Tacoma with the plastic bed and side track. I emailed Topline 4 times to see if they offer a track attachment and they havent returned my email so now I wonder if they are still in business.

Here is how I made it work- I did a slight modification to make it work better and stronger. I used the side track that comes on the 2005-2012 Tacoma. you have to parts to the mount the little part that has threads I put in the rail with the eyebolt up, the part that holds the pipe that gos to the bike has a little lip on it I took a grinder and cut it off , I did this because it made it a lot more sturdy, I put a small piece of rubber on the bottom it came with the Bike mount kit , now you have a flat edge for the top of your bed, I did buy longer eyebolts just so I had more threads to, but you dont need to. I did not cut the bed liner or make any holes in it I made two one for each Bike.

Ford Ranger

The product works very well for transporting bikes securely in the pickup truck bed. I have a standard Ford Ranger and installation was a breeze. You've got to determine where on the bike to attach the clamp. The clamps were designed for bikes with smaller frame tubes than I have on my bikes; it would be nice if they were a bit larger, and you've got to make sure the attachment doesn't damage the control lines for gears and brakes. I was able to successfully attach two bikes securely. While some trucks may have space for four bikes, I think the max I could get in my Ranger would probably be three; but that's OK, I'll never need more than that. The quality of the materials is very good and should last for a long time. I have attached pictures showing a one-bike and two-bike setup. As other reviewers have said, the printed instructions leave something to be desired, but once you see the components it is pretty obvious what to do. All in all, I am very satisfied. 93938

I have used it many times this year. I usually use it with one bike, but occasionally my father-in-law and I go biking and it easily transports both bikes well. I do wish the clamps were a bit larger, but I have learned where to attach them so they work OK. It holds both bikes very securely, I have never had a case where a bike came loose. It is very quick to setup and put away I store the components in a satchel behind my seat in the truck when not in use.So after a year, I am still very satisfied.

This product works well for what it’s designed to do, keep your bike secured. However the product was not designed for modern bikes or 29er's. The manufacture needs to redesign the clamping system to be more flexible with modern bike tubes; also they need to extend the pole to reach a 29er seat post. With that said and with a little creativity I was able to make the system work by attaching the pole to the rear triangle of the bike frame. See my bike pics on how to make it work for a 29er. Once I figured this out the securing system work well. 74709

Finally used the bike rack for the first time last night. Worked like a champ, holding the bike rock steady for the entire 70 mile trip. It was super easy to setup and clamp the bike in place. My only nit to pick is the wheel straps...it needs a better buckle system that will maintain the tension. As we bounced down the less than stellar pavement, the strap would loosen, allowing a slight amount of wheel movement. Not enough to really reduce the stability of the bike as the mounting arm stayed rock solid and the bike never moved an inch. I have not tried it with 2 bikes yet so I cannot comment on the stability with the added weight/leverage. Great product and etrailer.com was FANTASTIC! I will be continue to make purchases from them. 148007

Great product. Used the first time this weekend and found it was quick to install and held bikes very securely. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and reliable way to transport their bikes. 558607

This is the simplest to use back rack I have ever owned. I have a short bed pick up truck so I have to turn the front tires and angle my bicycles, but the bikes all fit and I can close the tail gate. Much easier than attaching a bike rack to my trailer hitch. 576229

This bed mounted bike rack does exactly what I wanted it to do. It’s easy to install/uninstall and bike mounting is quick and easy. My large frame mountain bike fits snugly in my 5 1/2’ F150 bed. I can lock the bike and rack if I need to and remove the extension arm or whole rack in minutes when not in use. etrailer.com’s customer service is exceptional; prompt responses to questions with helpful information and suggestions and they are knowledgeable about the products they offer. Very satisfied with this rack and other purchases I have made with them. 663273

2013 Ford F-150

Just received my UG2500. Watched the installation video and went to town. I have a F150. 2013 with a set in dura-liner. No cutting was required to enstall. Directions were easy and clear. Took my bike for “ a ride in the truck”. No problems. Went over speed bumps and good turns. Bike stayed put. i love this rack. Now when I am not hauling my bike, I store my UG2500 behind the truck seat. Cost was great and no problems storing a huge heavy rack. Another plus is I have access to my trailer hitch when hauling the bikes. So easy. I think ill name it GUS 547527

Its great. So handy portable and sturdy. Love it!

2019 Ram 1500

I will hold two bikes, but it clamped poorly to the bed rails (2019 Ram 1500) of my truck. The arm is too long with no way to adjust, therefore forcing both bikes to center of bed. I guess that's okay if your not hauling anything else. I will be sending it back. 690264

This product was fantastic on the truck, the bikes were stabilized we were on interstates going 70 mph never worried about the bikes moving easy to load onto truck takes about 5 minutes, all in all we rode about 350 miles of trails, we always had 2 bikes, we love it and are waiting to get biking for 2018, thanks George for you wanting to see what we thought of it and by the way my trk is a chevy s-10. 472787

- UG2500

The bike rack is great - it was very easy to install and holds the bikes securely. I was a little concerned about whether it would work as our situation is a little different - we have a camper shell on our truck and our bikes are the "folding" ones that a lot of RVers use. But no worries - it worked great. As far as the service from etrailers - they were great to work with!! They upgraded the shipping at no additional cost to me - I received my order just a few days after I placed it. 59622

After a year were still using and enjoying the bike rack! No problems with it at all - were still pleased with our purchase.

- UG2500

I love the two bike carrier! I have a large tool box in the bed of my truck, so the front tires are turned to the side. I strapped both front tires together and the bikes never moved. 230 mile trip and "zero" problems or concerns! Having $5000 in two bikes, i tripled locked them together and to the truck! Which took longer than it did to set up both bikes. 96069

Great Product! Just got back from using it over the weekend, no slipping or any movement at all. Once you figure the best alignment of the bikes and where the bars go, then all you have to do is.......do it again and a again! I use 4 different locks to lock it in my truck. A thief would take along time to get the bikes!

After some trial and error deciding just where to best put the clamps it worked out perfect. The bikes are secured tight without any movement at all. And, now that I know where to put everything it will be a lot easier next time. Well worth the price! 466480

Still working perfectly. Great for transporting my bikes. Very pleased with the product.

2004 Toyota Tacoma

Installed the rack on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab with a plastic liner on the bed. I haven't tried driving around with it yet. It looks pretty sturdy. The only thing I'm worried about is that the back tire would look like that it will be jumping around if you hit a bump or something. Also, I think the bolt attachments should be a little longer. My Gary Fisher's frame were kinda wide for it. I had to unscrew it all the way so I can place the bolt in the slot. 89224

After a year. The bike rack really works well!! Great customer service by etrailer!!! The bolts to attach the bikes got stripped from normal use. I called etrailer and they got a hold of Topline and sent me another bolt. Now the bolt stripped again. Thats my only complain about this product. The bolts kept getting stripped!! Im screwing it normally and not forcing or doing anything different.from how you would normally screw in a bolt.I do use a strap on the front of the bike for more support. Etrailer. Great Customer Service!!!

2018 Chevrolet Colorado

This was installed on a 2018 Colorado Crew Cab with a 5' bed and soft roll-up tonneau cover. Since the tonneau cover rails prevented the bike holder clamp from being attached directly to the pickup bed rail itself, I had to modify the installation as shown in the photos. Basically, I turned the bike rack clamp upside down and drilled/bolted it to the tonneau cover rail with two 1/4" x 1" stainless bolts. The reason for turning it upside down was because the bottom of the clamp is longer, therefore providing a larger area to lay on top of the tonneau cover rail. This causes the head of the tensioner bolt for the bike holder arm to be underneath the clamp assembly, but is still easy enough to reach for adjustment. The original eyebolt and clamp nut were not needed in this arrangement. The tailgate can be fully closed by turning the front wheels of each bike sideways. I find it slightly easier to load the bikes facing backward in the bed, but they can also face forward by relocating the bike holder clamp further back. Either way, there is actually 1-2" overall clearance between the front/rear wheels of each bike and the front of the pickup bed and tailgate. So, the front/rear tires of each bike do not even touch the bed/tailgate. The bike holder arm holds the bikes securely during acceleration/braking/cornering/bumps in the road. The bottom line is that the UG2500 does the job after these modifications. 487688

2012 Toyota Tacoma

Great product. Was simple to install/adjust. Holds bike in place with very strong support. I've not hooked up a 2nd bike yet, it should be a breeze. I did a minor modification to the bed bracket to get it to work on my Toyota with a factory bed-rail system. One cut to remove excess metal from bed bracket and 2 holes drilled to install bed rail mounting hardware (located hardware on internet). 412129

Took these on a 1200 mile round trip vacation. Did great. Bikes never moved. 152617

Still working great!

2011 Ford Ranger

I recently installed the Topeline 2 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack in my 2011 Ford Ranger. It installs nice and neat, using very little space. It does need a ratchet strap to aid in keeping the bikes upright. The clamps are good but I think it would be helpful if they were bigger to accommodate larger tubes. I was able to find just the right spot in my bed to place the mounting clamp so I could reach a tube that fit the clamp. The add-a-bike works well. The cap that comes with the rack fits perfectly in the hole I cut in my truck bed when the rack is not in use. All-in-all a good product. 460575

2013 GMC Canyon

I finally have a nice sunny & half way warm day to try the UG2500 out. I have the 2009 GMC Canyon 4 door 5 foot short bed version with a tool box in the bed so space is shortened almost an extra 1 1/2 feet & as you will see in the pictures, very limited for my 26 inch polaris sportsman 21 speed bike that i converted into an electric bicycle. I had to mount my UG2500 bicycle holder closer to the rear of the truck but with 2 extra safety straps, one wrapped around the bike seat post & anchored to the rear loops in the rear of the truck bed & another strap looped around the front forks and anchored to the post in the front of the bed, the bike doesn't go anywhere. The UNI GRIP bed rail clamps tighten to the bed rail & the pivot arm bike clamp fits around my upper tube of this particular bike well. Once you have everything in place , this system holds the bike straight & level. As of this time, i believe it will serve my purpose when i take long or short trips.I should also let it be known that i took the plastic bed liner out & replaced it with a roll in bed liner plus spray in bed liner and got rid of the plastic junk. I believe that most folks with longer bed trucks shouldn't have any problem with this product as they would be able to close their tailgate for added security as far as the bike rolling out of their truck. I ordered my UG2500 on Jan.10 2013 at 3:13 p.m. in the afternoon. At 3:21 pm, eight minutes later, i received an email from George that their warehouse facility had this product in stock & it would ship out in 24 - 48 hours. At 3:46pm same date some 33 minutes later, I received an email from nathan that my order was shipped out & on the way. 3 days later it's sitting on my doorstep. Now, i can only say that is true service & fast at that along with keeping me informed of what is going on. Thanks folks for your service. 63591

- UG2500

This is a must have for bike riders with pickup trucks. NOTE: (if you have a shorter bed, you will have to leave the tailgate open.) The arm assembly is VERY easy to assemble and attach to the bed lip of your truck. In fact, it is so easy the instructions are really unnecessary. The arm moves up and down and the arm clamp rotates both facilitate easy fastening to the bike. The construction is sturdy and the bike stays fastened quite well. The bike easily releases from the clamps and the arm easily releases from the bed clamp for storage. One suggestion: I used a simple strap from the handle bars to the bed tie downs to help prevent unnecessary back and forth movement of the bike while fastened in. This is a very easy step to add either with line or a bungee cord. It removes undue stress on the bed clamp, as the bike will move a bit during normal road operation of the truck. I HIGHLY recommend this product for several reasons: 1) It keeps the bike out of the cabin. 2) It keeps the bike up against the bed wall, adding space for the rest of the bed. 3) It is VERY sturdy. 4) Additional bikes can be added. 5) It is very easy to assemble and to use. 772998

Since none of our truck bed bike racks will designed to allow the wheel of the bike to be turned you'd have to have the tailgate of your truck folded down to carry the bike with a rack like the # UF2500 you referenced or you'd want to look into a hitch mounted e-bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2 Electric Fat Bike Rack # HR1455Z-E.

  • Truck Bed Bike Rack Recommendation for Bike with Disc Brakes to Leave Front Wheel On
Best option we have since you want to keep the front wheel on would be the Topline truck bed bike rack part # UG2500 since the Insta-Gator # TH501 isn't going to work for you and there isn't an adapter available.

  • Can Topline Truck Bed Mounted Bike Carrier be Used on 2016 Chevrolet Silverado with Leer Cap
The Topline Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted # UG2500 referenced in your question may work with the Leer Camper Top on your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado if the Leer top does not block the lip at the top of the bed side wall. The clamp on the Topline Carrier will grab around the top lip of the truck to hold the bikes so this small area will need to be clear of any hardware. I have attached an image that shows how much of the top of the side wall the clamp will need. If there is sufficient...

  • Truck Bed Mounted Bike Rack for a 2013 Ford F-150 W/ Roll-N-Lock Tonneau Cover
I do have an option that will work for you but the Topline 2 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack part # UG2500 will not work with the Roll-N-Lock tonneau cover you have on your 2013 Ford F-150 as the mounting clamps will interfere with the tonneau cover's rails and cannot be installed under the bed rail as this would likely decrease the bike rack's support. Instead, I recommend a bolt-on option like the Yakima Locking BlockHead Single Bike Truck Bed Mounted Rack part...

  • Can Topline 2 Bike Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack UG2500 Fit 2014 F-150 With Bed Liner
You can use the Topline 2 Bike Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack # UG2500 in your 2014 Ford F-150 if the bed liner does not block access to the underside of the bed rails. Spray-on liners should be fine but a drop in liner needs to give you under-the-rail access as shown in the photo I linked for you. Any determined thief, given the time and tools, can defeat almost any lock, so the best strategy is to make your property appear more difficult to steal than another's. Using multiple...

  • How Can Two Bikes With Different Angle Crossbars Attach With the Topline Truck Bed Bike Rack #UG2500
The clamp at the end of the bar that connects to your truck bed will swivel to secure your bike at the cross bar, but the clamps on the Add-A-Bike adapter do not swivel or rotate to connect to angled crossbars on your Electra Townie bikes. Instead, you will want to connect the adapter to the seat posts since they should be at the same or very similar angles. I have attached a photo showing you two bikes connected with the adapter at the seat posts.

  • Truck Bed Bike Rack Solution for 2019 Toyota Tacoma with Cargo Management Rails
Unless you'd be willing to remove the cargo rail on the one side of the truck bed there isn't a way that we can recommend to install the Topline Bike Rack # UG2500 for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma. The most similar bike rack we have that does fit would be the Swagman Pick Up part # S64702. I attached a review video for this rack on a similar Toyota truck for you to check out.

  • Will Topline 2-Bike Truck Bed-Mounted Rack # UG2500 Fit On 2012 Toyota Tundra
The Topline 2 Bike Carrier Truck Bed-Mounted Rack # UG2500 may fit your 2012 Toyota Tundra. To find whether or not it is a fit for your vehicle, you will need to check your truck bed wall to see if there is a lip that hangs over the top for the clamp to hang on to. If you have a bedliner that covers the underside of the top bed rail, you will need to cut a hole so the clamp can grab onto the lip at the top of the sidewall. Also, if you have a bed rail system, it will have to be removed...

  • Will Topline Truck Bed Mounted Bike Rack Hold a 65 Pound Electric Bike
I contacted Topline just to make sure that the truck bed mounted bike carrier, part # UG2500, does not have a weight limit since it's not actually suspending the weight of the bikes. It's just supporting it from falling over. It will hold your 65 pound electric bike just fine.

As long as the bed rail on your 1997 Nissan XE standard pick-up truck has a 90 degree lip turned down inside the bed of the truck with open space behind it, see photo, the Topline 2 Bike Truck Bed Rack, # UG2500, will work for you. • Truck bed Bike Rack Recommendation for a Truck with Tonneau Cover Mounting Rails
The rails for a tonneau cover extend too far out for the brackets on the Topline bike rack, # UG2500, to safely attach. What I recommend that will not require any drilling into the bed or modification is the Thule Insta-Gator # TH501. This rack secures by anchors that mount in the tail gate hinge. Take a look at the video and isntructions I have linked.

  • Topline Truck Bed Bike Rack Compatibility With Truck Topper
The Truck Bed 4 Bike Carrier - Topline # UG2500-4, the 3 bike # UG2500-3, or the 2 bike # UG2500 all use the exact same rail clamp. On the clamp that attaches to the bed rail, there is very little space. If the lip on your topper is too thick, the clamp will not be able to mount correctly. You can see a better picture of the clamp on part # UG2500 to give you a better idea of the space available. This product will fit some applications and won't fit others with the topper because it is...

  • Carrying Bikes with 15mm Axles in the Bed of a Truck
One simple option is the Topline rack # UG2500 which basically holds the bikes at the frame. It is also expandable if you wanted to carry more bikes. I have linked a video review of this rack for you. Another option for a single bike is the Inno Velo Gripper # INRT201 which also holds the bike at the frame. Its a simple set up but if you are carrying 2 bikes you would need to order 2 of them. I have linked a video of the Velo Gripper as well. If you have a Chevrolet, GMC, or Toyota truck...

For a 2 bike rack confirmed to fit the truck bed of your 2017 Nissan Frontier that allows you to keep the front wheels installed the Topline Rack part # UG2500 is a confirmed fit that will work well. I attached a review video for more info on this rack as well. If you need the bed for luggage a hitch rack is going to be a better option since it frees up the entire bed. The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Thule Roadway 2 part # TH912XTR....

The Topline truck bed bike rack # UG2500 is not likely to fit on a 2013 Ram 1500 with a tonneau cover because the clamps would not be able to fit around the rails for the cover. We do have numerous other options that you could use. The Thule GateMate Pro # TH824PRO is one option. The front wheels of the bikes will rest over the tailgate. The truck is protected by the Gate Mate and the bikes will secure to it. I have linked a video showing the Gate Mate on a 2013 Ram for you.

  • Will the Topline Truck Bed Bike Rack # UG2500 Work with a BAKFlip Fibermax Cover Installed
Since the track for the BAKFlip fibermax cover is in the way, you will not be able to use the Topline truck bed bike rack # UG2500. Since the cover is a nice accessory, I do not recommend modifying it for the sake of the Topline rack. Instead, take a look at the Insta-Gator, # TH501. This will not interfere with the cover at all since it is secured by the gap between the tailgate and truck bed. I have included a link to a video review for you.

The Topline bike carrier, # UG2500, could potentially work in a Subaru Baja bed. Take a look at the video I have linked. It secures in the gap between the tailgate and bed and holds 2 bikes. I have included links to the instructions and a video for you. I have also included a link to all truck bed style bike racks.

  • Fit of Topline # UG2500 Truck Bed 2 Bike Carrier with 2015 Toyota Tacoma w/ Factory Rail System
The Topline # UG2500 attaches to the truck bed via a clamp that connects to the underside of the truck bed side rail, as shown in the photo I've edited for you. As you can see, if your truck has a drop-in bed liner, you can cut a hole in it so the clamp can still attach to the bed rail. If the underside of the bed side rail isn't accessible, the rack won't be compatible with your truck.
