Video Transcript for Erickson ATV Ramps - Ramp Ends - EM07200 Review

Today we'll be reviewing part number Em07200. This is the Erickson Aluminum Ramp End for a two inch by eight inch board. It's going to offer a capacity of 750 pounds. It is recommended that the board is at least seven feet in length. The board is going to set on this portion here, and then you're going to have two mount holes that you can install some hardware and get that board secured to the mounting plate. Mounting hardware is going to be sold separately, these holes are going to measure 3/8ths of an inch in diameter, so keep that in mind when choosing your hardware, and center on center, they're going to be separated by five inches. Again, it's going to offer a load capacity of 750 pounds. It's going to easily convert your two inch by eight inch board into a ramp.

You can see that when this portion here is level, this sits at an angle, which means your board is also going to sit at an angle. It's very quick to install and get it going. It's going to really help you load up your ATV, your lawnmower, your motorcycle, things like that. Really, you can apply this to any board and you can create a ramp, or any board that's two inches by eight inches and at least seven feet in length, and the ramp is going to come in handy when connecting any two surfaces that aren't level with one another. Whether you're doing this for your truck bed, or trying to get up some stairs, they're great to build some handicap ramps for wheelchairs and handicap scooters.

This is just a great, inexpensive option to build your own set of ramps. One ramp end is going to come with this part number. If you want to build multiple ramps, then you can use this part number to purchase multiple ramps ends. That's going to do it for our review of part number Em07200. This is the Erickson Aluminum Ramp End for a two inch by eight inch boards, rated at 750 pounds. .

Depending on height of tailgate this may be the wrong choice... It was for me 578086

The ramp end must not exceed a 30 degree angle. It may not work with some lifted trucks.

Perfect1 Perfect for loading the motorcycle in the bed of my 07 Tacoma. Good quality and fast shipping. I will be buying one again for my buddies birthday since he is still loading a bike with just a board that falls on the ground everytime. Works better than I thought. 4673

  • Installation Instructions and Hardware Recommendations for the Aluminum Ramp End # EM07200
  • The Aluminum Ramp End for 2x8 Board, 750 lbs. (Qty 1), item # EM07200, does not include installation hardware. I would recommend using 3/8 inch carriage bolts, at least 1/2 inch longer that the board you will be using, and a washer and lock nut. Place the part of the ramp end with the holes in it on the bottom of the board you plan to use and mark holes to drill. Then insert the carriage bolts from the top of the board and tighten the nut and washer on the bottom of the ramp end.
