  • Plate-Fin Cooler
  • Mid-Size Truck
  • SUV
  • Van
  • 11W x 7-1/4T x 7/8D Inch
  • With 11/32 Inch Hose Barb Inlets
  • Derale
  • Standard Mount

11" Wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep, efficient heat exchanger will prolong the life of your transmission and improve its overall performance. Specifically designed for Toyota RAV4s with late-model, electronic overdrive transmissions.

Features:

  • Prolongs life of transmission
  • Improves overall performance
  • Prevents heat-related failures
  • Has furnace-brazed aluminum construction and 3/4" wide turbulator plates for more efficient cooling
  • Includes complete mounting kit, OEM spec hose with stainless steel clamps and Insta-dapt radiator adapter
  • Recommended for mid-size cars, trucks and SUVs

Specs:

  • Inlets: 11/32" hose barb
  • Overall dimensions: 11" wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep
  • Distance between inlets: 10-1/4"
  • Mounting dimensions: 6-1/8" tall by either 5-1/4" or 6-3/4" wide
  • 1-Year warranty

Note: The Derale Insta-dapt radiator adapter fits most vehicles with 5/16" transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.

One of the more popular cooling systems available, the radiator-style, plate-and-fin heat exchanger provides increased surface area so that fluids can spread out along the finned chambers to cool faster. In addition to the increased surface area, this cooler also features turbulator technology, whereby fluids are agitated continuously, not only to facilitate heat transfer, but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure.

  • Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Brake Controller for a 2007 Honda Odyssey
Yes, I will be happy to help add tow options to your 2007 Honda Odyssey. First you will need Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75270. This hitch has a maximum tongue weight rating up to 675 lbs and gross trailer weight rating up to 4,500 lbs. If the towing capacity in your Odyssey owner's manual is lower that the capacity of this hitch, tow according to the weight limits in your manual. There is no drilling required for installation. Next, you will need 4-way Flat Trailer Connector...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2009 Chevy Impala
A transmission cooler will help prolong the life of any automatic transmission so installing one in your 2009 Chevy Impala would be a great choice. The Derale # D13502 would be a great choice that would work well. These kits are universal so while it may not have parts that are specific to your vehicle the install is basically the same for all vehicles. I attached an install video that shows a cooler installed on a similar Chevy as yours as well.

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 1997 Honda CRV with Best Cooling and Ease of Installation
I would recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, item # D13502, for your 1997 Honda CRV. This cooler will be more than adequate for towing the weights you will be towing. You can not cool transmission fluid too much so the larger the cooler is, the better. We have a video installation of this cooler on a 2006 Honda CR-V that will be very similar to the installation on your 1997 model, see link. If you would like a smaller cooler you could go with the Derale Series...

  • Recommended Transmission Cooler For 2011 Chrysler Town And Country
We have a few transmission coolers that are designed to fit your 2010 Chrysler Town And Country. The Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13502 is a plate-fin cooler that may be just what you are looking for. The biggest concern when installing coolers is the location and whether there is room for the installation. This cooler measures 11 inches wide x 7-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inch deep. I have attached a drawing that shows the best location to mount a cooler. I have attached links to a...

I did some checking and it looks like the Derale Tube-Fin Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Adjustable Sandwich Adapter # D15505 will work on your 2004 Ford Escape. From the research I did the threads on the oil filter are 22 x 1.5 mm and the # D15505 comes with that size so it should work very well for you. I attached an FAQ article on oil coolers for you to check out also.

Adding coolers like a power steering fluid cooler and a transmission fluid cooler will help prolong the life of those components. You will want to consider the location for the cooler you install. I have attached a drawing that shows the best locations for mounting the transmission cooler. For your 2008 Honda Odyssey the transmission cooler you referenced, part # D13502 would work well. It looks like GM has listed your 2022 GMC Acadia for towing so you'll just need to refer to your owner's manual to ensure you don't exceed the towing capacity for your vehicle. Transmission coolers are pretty universal fitments so while we haven't installed one on your model vehicle as of yet (October 2023), I recommend looking into the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13502. Hello Paul, Definitely a good idea to keep your transmission cooled while pulling a 38' 5th wheel. • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2011 Ford Escape
I found the expert answer you referenced where Jeff said to check the owners manual for restrictions on towing. He meant that you should check to make sure your vehicle is rated for towing the trailer you are planning on towing from a weight capacity point of view. There would be no restrictions on installing a transmission cooler aside from the available space on your vehicle. You would want the to route the transmission fluid from your factory cooler in your radiator to the aftermarket...

  • Should 2007 GMC Sierra Classic be Put in 4WD When Towing a Heavy Load Long Distance
I checked out the online version of the owner's manual and it looks like for your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic then you want to use the Tow/Haul mode for heavy towing and/or shift the transmission to 3rd or lower if it is shifting too often. Aside from that though it doesn't state anything about 4WD so I wouldn't worry about it. • Best Transmission Cooler for 2020 Toyota Tundra With 5.7L V8 Engine
The best transmission cooler for your 2020 Toyota Tundra with a 5.7L V8 engine is the Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler # D13502. The reason this is the best cooler is because the Series 8000 is a plate-and-fin cooler, which means it uses smaller plates that cover more area than other coolers in order to agitate transmission fluid in your Toyota. Because you cannot over-cool fluids, the rule of thumb with transmission coolers is that size matters so the large 11" wide x 7-1/4" tall...

  • Transmission and Power Steering Coolers for 2015 Jeep Patriot
The 2015 Jeep Patriot with either 2.0L or 2.4L engine does have a towing capacity of 1000-lbs; the 2.4L models with the Trailer Tow Prep Package (AHC) or the Freedom Drive II Off Road Package (AWL) can tow up to 2000-lbs trailer weight. You can see these towing specs in the page from the owner's manual (page 179) that I linked for you. Towing capacity for any vehicle is determined by the auto maker and adding aftermarket products does not increase it. Installing a hitch with a higher rating,...

We do not have any relationships established with any mechanics or shop. However, any basic mechanic should be able to install this product.
