2007 Honda Odyssey - Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient

  • Plate-Fin Cooler
  • Mid-Size Truck
  • SUV
  • Van
  • 11W x 7-1/4T x 7/8D Inch
  • With 11/32 Inch Hose Barb Inlets
  • Derale
  • Standard Mount

11" Wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep, efficient heat exchanger will prolong the life of your transmission and improve its overall performance. Specifically designed for Honda Odysseys with late-model, electronic overdrive transmissions.

Features:

  • Prolongs life of transmission
  • Improves overall performance
  • Prevents heat-related failures
  • Has furnace-brazed aluminum construction and 3/4" wide turbulator plates for more efficient cooling
  • Includes complete mounting kit, OEM spec hose with stainless steel clamps and Insta-dapt radiator adapter
  • Recommended for mid-size cars, trucks and SUVs

Specs:

  • Inlets: 11/32" hose barb
  • Overall dimensions: 11" wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep
  • Distance between inlets: 10-1/4"
  • Mounting dimensions: 6-1/8" tall by either 5-1/4" or 6-3/4" wide
  • 1-Year warranty

Note: The Derale Insta-dapt radiator adapter fits most vehicles with 5/16" transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.

One of the more popular cooling systems available, the radiator-style, plate-and-fin heat exchanger provides increased surface area so that fluids can spread out along the finned chambers to cool faster. In addition to the increased surface area, this cooler also features turbulator technology, whereby fluids are agitated continuously, not only to facilitate heat transfer, but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure.

  • Recommended Transmission Cooler For 2011 Chrysler Town And Country
We have a few transmission coolers that are designed to fit your 2010 Chrysler Town And Country. The Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13502 is a plate-fin cooler that may be just what you are looking for. The biggest concern when installing coolers is the location and whether there is room for the installation. This cooler measures 11 inches wide x 7-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inch deep. I have attached a drawing that shows the best location to mount a cooler. I have attached links to a...

  • Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Brake Controller for a 2007 Honda Odyssey
Yes, I will be happy to help add tow options to your 2007 Honda Odyssey. First you will need Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75270. This hitch has a maximum tongue weight rating up to 675 lbs and gross trailer weight rating up to 4,500 lbs. If the towing capacity in your Odyssey owner's manual is lower that the capacity of this hitch, tow according to the weight limits in your manual. There is no drilling required for installation. Next, you will need 4-way Flat Trailer Connector...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2009 Chevy Impala
A transmission cooler will help prolong the life of any automatic transmission so installing one in your 2009 Chevy Impala would be a great choice. The Derale # D13502 would be a great choice that would work well. These kits are universal so while it may not have parts that are specific to your vehicle the install is basically the same for all vehicles. I attached an install video that shows a cooler installed on a similar Chevy as yours as well.

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 1997 Honda CRV with Best Cooling and Ease of Installation
I would recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, item # D13502, for your 1997 Honda CRV. This cooler will be more than adequate for towing the weights you will be towing. You can not cool transmission fluid too much so the larger the cooler is, the better. We have a video installation of this cooler on a 2006 Honda CR-V that will be very similar to the installation on your 1997 model, see link. If you would like a smaller cooler you could go with the Derale Series...

  • Oil Cooler Recommendation for a 2004 Ford Escape
I did some checking and it looks like the Derale Tube-Fin Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Adjustable Sandwich Adapter # D15505 will work on your 2004 Ford Escape. From the research I did the threads on the oil filter are 22 x 1.5 mm and the # D15505 comes with that size so it should work very well for you. I attached an FAQ article on oil coolers for you to check out also.

Adding coolers like a power steering fluid cooler and a transmission fluid cooler will help prolong the life of those components. You will want to consider the location for the cooler you install. I have attached a drawing that shows the best locations for mounting the transmission cooler. For your 2008 Honda Odyssey the transmission cooler you referenced, part # D13502 would work well. • 2014 Toyota Tacoma Transmission Temperature Gauge Kit
Hey Jay, thanks for reaching out! Our transmission coolers are designed to help support a factory cooler as opposed to replacing it altogether, so you won't want to replace it. With that being said, I have a few different options you can look into. You can never cool your transmission coolant too much so adding a cooler is still okay to do, and if you choose to go that route, I recommend using the Derale # D13502. Then for a gauge (so you can keep tabs on the temperature) we have the...

  • What Cooler is Best for My 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.0 Engine for Towing a 38' 5th Wheel?
Hello Paul, Definitely a good idea to keep your transmission cooled while pulling a 38' 5th wheel. I found another option that I thought would fit your needs a little better, I went ahead and reached out to my contact at Derale and he agreed. The Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan, -8 AN Inlets - Class V # D15960 is going to be your best fit. You will still need the correct adapters, you will need to double check what kind of fittings your truck has. For your standard...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendations for 2014 Honda Odyssey
A transmission cooler isn't a vehicle specific item and the 2013 and 2014 Odyssey are of the same generation, so the coolers shown to fit the 2013 Odyssey would work just fine with the 2014 model. The # D13502 would be an excellent choice for your Odyssey. If you'd care to see an installation video showing the whole install process, please click the provided link. I'll also link you to some FAQ articles about transmission coolers.

  • Recommended Towing Products To Allow 2000 Ford F-150 To Safely Tow 3000-4000lb Boat Trailer
I would be happy to help, but there are a few items you listed that are not commonly used on a boat trailer. Typically boat trailers do not use electric trailer brakes thus eliminating the need for a trailer brake controller or controller wiring harness. Boat trailers more commonly use surge brakes which are hydraulic and use a surge brake coupler to control the braking force. Some surge brake actuators use an electric reverse lockout solenoid, so if the boat trailer you purchase has one...

Both have an aluminum construction, include all hardware needed, and are Plate-Fin style coolers. This is where the main difference is though. • Parts Needed to Equip 2014 Ford Escape for Towing Small Pop-Up Trailer
According specs I've located online, the 2014 Ford Escape will have a 2000 lb towing capacity if equipped with the 1.4L engine or 3500 lb if equipped with the 2.0L. You should be able to pull that pop-up with no problem. I would recommend a transmission cooler like # D13502 if you plan on pulling the camper in a mountainous area, though as it would offer inexpensive protection for your transmission. For a trailer hitch, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13186. The trailer...

Transmission coolers are pretty universal fitments so while we haven't installed one on your model vehicle as of yet (October 2023), I recommend looking into the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13502. • Transmission Cooler Recommendation and Comparison for a 2015 Honda Odyssey

The best way to pick out a cooler for a vehicle is to go with the largest one that will fit the available space in front of the radiator/AC condenser. • Transmission and Power Steering Coolers for 2015 Jeep Patriot

You can see these towing specs in the page from the owner's manual (page 179) that I linked for you.
