  • SUV
  • Van
  • With 11/32 Inch Hose Barb Inlets
  • 11W x 7-1/4T x 7/8D Inch
  • Derale
  • Standard Mount

11" Wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep, efficient heat exchanger will prolong the life of your transmission and improve its overall performance. Specifically designed for Honda Odysseys with late-model, electronic overdrive transmissions.

Features:

  • Prolongs life of transmission
  • Improves overall performance
  • Prevents heat-related failures
  • Has furnace-brazed aluminum construction and 3/4" wide turbulator plates for more efficient cooling
  • Includes complete mounting kit, OEM spec hose with stainless steel clamps and Insta-dapt radiator adapter
  • Recommended for mid-size cars, trucks and SUVs

Specs:

  • Inlets: 11/32" hose barb
  • Overall dimensions: 11" wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep
  • Distance between inlets: 10-1/4"
  • Mounting dimensions: 6-1/8" tall by either 5-1/4" or 6-3/4" wide
  • 1-Year warranty

Note: The Derale Insta-dapt radiator adapter fits most vehicles with 5/16" transmission lines, but not all. In some cases, additional fittings or alteration of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.

One of the more popular cooling systems available, the radiator-style, plate-and-fin heat exchanger provides increased surface area so that fluids can spread out along the finned chambers to cool faster. In addition to the increased surface area, this cooler also features turbulator technology, whereby fluids are agitated continuously, not only to facilitate heat transfer, but also to prevent any undesirable drop in pressure.

  • Recommended Power Steering Fluid Cooler And Transmission Cooler For 2008 Honda Odyssey
Adding coolers like a power steering fluid cooler and a transmission fluid cooler will help prolong the life of those components. You will want to consider the location for the cooler you install. I have attached a drawing that shows the best locations for mounting the transmission cooler. For your 2008 Honda Odyssey the transmission cooler you referenced, part # D13502 would work well. This is a Class lll cooler and comes with the mounting kit, OEM spec hose along with stainless steel...

  • Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Brake Controller for a 2007 Honda Odyssey
Yes, I will be happy to help add tow options to your 2007 Honda Odyssey. First you will need Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75270. This hitch has a maximum tongue weight rating up to 675 lbs and gross trailer weight rating up to 4,500 lbs. If the towing capacity in your Odyssey owner's manual is lower that the capacity of this hitch, tow according to the weight limits in your manual. There is no drilling required for installation. Next, you will need 4-way Flat Trailer Connector...

  • Recommended Transmission Cooler For 2011 Chrysler Town And Country
We have a few transmission coolers that are designed to fit your 2010 Chrysler Town And Country. The Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13502 is a plate-fin cooler that may be just what you are looking for. The biggest concern when installing coolers is the location and whether there is room for the installation. This cooler measures 11 inches wide x 7-1/4 inches tall x 7/8 inch deep. I have attached a drawing that shows the best location to mount a cooler. I have attached links to a...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 1997 Honda CRV with Best Cooling and Ease of Installation
I would recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, item # D13502, for your 1997 Honda CRV. This cooler will be more than adequate for towing the weights you will be towing. You can not cool transmission fluid too much so the larger the cooler is, the better. We have a video installation of this cooler on a 2006 Honda CR-V that will be very similar to the installation on your 1997 model, see link. If you would like a smaller cooler you could go with the Derale Series...

  • Oil Cooler Recommendation for a 2004 Ford Escape
I did some checking and it looks like the Derale Tube-Fin Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Adjustable Sandwich Adapter # D15505 will work on your 2004 Ford Escape. From the research I did the threads on the oil filter are 22 x 1.5 mm and the # D15505 comes with that size so it should work very well for you. I attached an FAQ article on oil coolers for you to check out also.

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2009 Chevy Impala
A transmission cooler will help prolong the life of any automatic transmission so installing one in your 2009 Chevy Impala would be a great choice. The Derale # D13502 would be a great choice that would work well. These kits are universal so while it may not have parts that are specific to your vehicle the install is basically the same for all vehicles. I attached an install video that shows a cooler installed on a similar Chevy as yours as well.

It looks like GM has listed your 2022 GMC Acadia for towing so you'll just need to refer to your owner's manual to ensure you don't exceed the towing capacity for your vehicle. Transmission coolers are pretty universal fitments so while we haven't installed one on your model vehicle as of yet (October 2023), I recommend looking into the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13502. Hello Paul, Definitely a good idea to keep your transmission cooled while pulling a 38' 5th wheel. • Are Aftermarket Transmission Coolers Less Expensive Than a New Radiator
While an aftermarket transmission cooler such as the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient # D13502 is definitely less expensive than a brand new radiator, I cannot recommend this as a quality alternative to repairing a leaking radiator - you should definitely get that fixed.

  • How to Pick Out a Transmission Cooler for a 2006 Nissan Xterra
The best way to pick out a transmission cooler is to measure the area in front of the radiator and pick out the largest cooler that will fit in that area. To maximize the space you have the best style of cooler to pick out would be a stacked plate cooler. These coolers are highly efficient and do not take up much space. • Is There Specific Mounting Orientation of Derale Transmission Cooler D13502
There is not a preferred mounting position for the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13502. Reason for that is the line pressure will pump the fluid through the cooler no matter which direction you mount it. There is also not a specific inlet/outlet for the # D13502; either fitting can be used for that purpose.

  • Using OEM Lines to Install Aftermarket Transmission Cooler # D13502 in 2012 Jeep Liberty

You are certainly able to usefully add secondary cooling for your Liberty transmission by installing a supplementary cooler such as the high-efficiency Derale # D13502. Yes, I can run you through the installation of the Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13502, on your 2002 Jeep Liberty. To begin, you will want to find a place to mount the cooler. The ideal place to mount a transmission cooler is behind the front grille but in front of the radiator. Next, if your Jeep is equipped with a factory transmission cooler (see...

  • Best Transmission Cooler for 2020 Toyota Tundra With 5.7L V8 Engine
The best transmission cooler for your 2020 Toyota Tundra with a 5.7L V8 engine is the Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler # D13502. The reason this is the best cooler is because the Series 8000 is a plate-and-fin cooler, which means it uses smaller plates that cover more area than other coolers in order to agitate transmission fluid in your Toyota. Because you cannot over-cool fluids, the rule of thumb with transmission coolers is that size matters so the large 11" wide x 7-1/4" tall...
