Today we're reviewing part number 787207 from Wesbar. This is a vehicle trailer coiled wire jumper. It has a 7-way trailer side connector on this end, and a 5-way flat connector for the vehicle end on the other side. This is a heavy-duty coiled cable adaptor that's compatible with a 7-way RV blade trailer socket on the vehicle, and it adapts it to work with the 4- or 5-way flat connector on the trailer. The 7-way end mates to an original equipment style 7-way blade connector, and the 5-way end mates to either a 4-way or a 5-way flat connector. It's 4' long when you uncoil it.
This is a sealed 4' long 16-gauge coiled wire that will not tangle, and it's made in the color marine yellow that will not fade. And there you have it for part number 787207 from Wesbar, the vehicle trailer coiled wire jumper.

Out standing product. This is easily one of the best trailer power extensions out there. Coils up back into smaller form factor after every use and stays firmly connected into the 7 pin or 5 pin connection without wiggle room. I use for my boat connection and you don't have to worry about the hair pin turns pulling on the electrical connection as the coil allows for that extra room. This cable is highly recommended for anyone with this type of connection.

The trailer connector was competitively priced, shipped quickly and arrived on time. I tested it and it works just as advertised. I ordered a 4' long coiled adapter and that is what I received, but I should have ordered the longer version as the 4' long version is stretched pretty tight on my boat trailer to truck connection. But, that is my error and has no bearing on the product quality or etrailer.com. I would order again from this company. Keith Z.

This was just what I needed to hook up my trailer lights to my new vehicle! I needed to convert my 7 pin vehicle connector to my 4 pin trailer connector, plus I needed a little extra length for my trailer pigtail to reach the factory connector on the vehicle. The delivery was fast too! Thanks!

TFX225 was good TX430-1 was good also p/n 787207 is not a 7 way pin to 5 flat, IT IS A 5 PIN TO A 5 FLAT, product didn't work. I initially thought it was a defective product but was told no by customer service that a 7 pin always has 2 dummy locations. Info was forwarded to Tech Service who called later that day stated the above and that my trailer shouldn't be working as I have stated it does. Four separate vehicles have towed my trailer and none have had an issue with it and the electric brakes work fine with the controller. It was strongly implied that I have messed with the trailer wiring, which I hadn't.

I believe I know what is going on. A basic 4-pole flat has the following 4 connections: ground, running lights, left turnbrake, and right turn/brake. A five pole flat either adds an electric brake circuit or reverse light circuit. The reverse light circuit is used quite a bit for boat trailers. They use hydraulic actuator brake systems and the reverse light signal is used to lock-out the brakes for backing down a boat ramp. This adapter is wired for reverse lights on the 5th pin, and your trailer is wired for electric brakes on the fifth pin. The center pin of the 7-way is used for reverse lights, not brakes. So the brakes on your trailer will engage when you put the vehicle into reverse.

The cord end look to be hi quality with the extra cord coiled for any stretch that is needed. The yellow cord is faded new out of the box and the coating is very tight this may not weather well, guess time will tell. Over all for the price seam to be a good product.
