The yellow wire coating is cracking and flaking off.
Still works great. The light up feature is great for knowing if a lighting problem is the vehicle or trailer.
The adapter works great. Actually, this was the exact replacement my trailer originally had. I tried one other adapter, not same brand and it didn't connect securely, not allowing a good connection.
Just bought a longer ball mount to pull my boat, and needed a longer trailer wire
This should do the job.
I used this for both a boat trailer and my garden trailer. Each trailer has different length cords for lights and this works great to not only reach, but also keep the longer cord from dragging low. Connects to my VW Touareg's output adapter without issue. Stores easily and the glow feature is a plus when hooking things up at night.
Great item, I first had the four pin model which is also great. Had to get 5 pin model for boat trailer that has surge brakes.

This item is extremely well constructed you will not have any issues with it. It is nice that it lights up at night to let you know that is connected correctly.
Outstanding service with numerous updates on status. Excellent company, superior customer service.
Apparently the trailer coiled wire adapters for marine use have a 3 year life span. It is good to know that even with the covid bologna I did receive my coil just before memorial day weekend
With lighted connectors you know you have electricity to the trailer.
Heavy duty, easy to use, unconditionally recommend it. Looks like it will outlast me!

Works as well today after a year as it did out of the box.
Works great. I already had an adapter that did the same thing but needed a bit more cord. Lights up like advertised, super heavy duty. I haven’t used it much but it looks like it will hold up for a long time. Nice to have 5 pins vs most that are 4.
Received the new connector and appears to be HD and good quality. This connector should last ... The coiled conductors should eliminate the excess wire from dragging on the roadway.
super heavy duty this is my second one, the first lasted 9 years on my boat trailer and other flat trailers the ground on the 4 prong end broke so I ordered another.
I use this for my boat trailer and it is nice to know everything is working properly.
Seems to be a nice quality connector...hope it works well for a few years.

Still works great. Stays on my trailer. Never have to worry about trailer light connection from boat trailer to truck.

In short. Terrible. I ordered a different harness previously and the wiring internally gave out and my trailer lights wouldn’t work. I called etrailer to return. It was a week or two over a year since purchased and they wouldn’t return it. I told him it seems like poor quality. He suggested this one and said the wiring and internally are high quality. Second outing I was hooking up my lights and the yellow coating is cracked and falling off.
