Today, we're going to take a look at the Tow Ready Replacement 7-Way Trailer Connector for the factory tow package. This is a 7-way US car end connector. This will easily plug into the factory equipped car end socket on your Dodge, Ford, GM, Jeep, Nissan, or Toyota vehicles, has a nice weather-tight gasket and cap right here. This will allow remote trailer wiring in your pickup bed or other hard to access areas. It is an exact replacement of the OEM connector. The hardware's all included, the four screws and nuts and washers that'll install this onto your mounting plate with the two screws that'll hold the mounting plate to your vehicle.
This is built to the OEM standards. If you notice on the cap itself, it has a nice heavy-duty, stainless steel spring end pin to give you a long, usable life. This was plug and play on my 2003 Silverado. The factory plug was starting to intermittently lose contact and functionality. This replacement was an exact fit for the factory set-up. It works perfectly.

The self-tapping screws that came with it were to small and weak. Otherwise a great product.
Connector fit perfectly to OEM wire harness.
Had to drill one new hole for the mounting bracket. Not sure the one on there was original though.
Only gripe is the mounting screws for the bracket are wimpy. I used some beefier screws to mount the bracket.

arrived on time, plugged right in to the factory wiring harness on my 2001 Ford and works great.
Hitch fit great, bolted right up. 7 way connector was great too, the self tapping bolts are a little weak, broke one and had to replace with self tappers I had on hand.
The connector worked out great. I had to drill new holes on the factory bracket which was no problem.

The bolts fell out so I had to tack weld to the hitch.
