Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement four-wire plug for your Blue Ox coiled electrical cord. This is the replacement for the four-way round plug that connects to your Blue Ox coiled electrical cord. This will mount to the front of your towed vehicle so that you can easily hook up your electrical system. Just like your original, it does have this screw-on top here that will allow you to remove this back piece so you can get your wires hooked up to the terminals on the inside there and then slide that back in place.
This does mount just like the original. It's got the mounting holes here that are right about one and three-quarters of an inch apart, center to center. Our mounting holes are about a quarter-inch in diameter.Just like your original should be very easy to take that old one off if it's not working for you anymore. You can use the same wiring just go in through this plug and then mount this in place. It does have this spring lid here so that we can keep that close when we're not connected.
So we don't have to worry about any dirt or debris getting in there and potentially causing problems with those connections. This product is made here in the USA, and because it is a Blue Ox product, you can trust that it is going to work with your Blue Ox components. You're not going to have to worry about needing an adaptor or anything like that. Blue Ox makes this, so you can trust that it's going to work with all the Blue Ox products.
