This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
The NitroFill inflation process filters out oxygen to ensure that this tire-and-wheel assembly is filled with 95 to 99.9 percent pure nitrogen. Nitrogen-inflated tires maintain pressure better than tires inflated with standard air. This makes them ideal for RVs and trailers that are driven infrequently or sit in storage for long periods of time. Other benefits of consistent tire pressure are better fuel economy, improved braking and handling, decreased chance of tire failure, and longer tire life.
A tire inflated with standard air, which contains oxygen, is prone to fluctuations in pressure due to loss of air over time and ambient temperature changes. Nitrogen-inflated tires don't experience these fluctuations for a couple reasons. First, nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules, so they are less likely to permeate a rubber tire. Second, nitrogen is a dry gas, so it won't allow condensation to build inside the tire. A tire inflated with standard air may have moisture in it, which means it is more likely to be affected by ambient temperature.
In addition, the moisture that can collect in a tire inflated with standard air will contribute to corrosion of the wheel and deterioration of the rubber tire from the inside out. A nitrogen-inflated tire-and-wheel assembly is less likely to experience this type of decay. Less moisture in the tire also means reduced running temperatures.
If necessary, you can top off the tire with standard compressed air. But to maintain the benefits of nitrogen, the tire must be refilled with nitrogen.
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
The standard tread on this tire has solid, continuous ribs, and there are very few sipes (or thin grooves) cut into the rubber. This tire is designed for use on trailers, so it doesn't require the level of traction that would be needed on a vehicle that is braking or steering.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire in a load range D on this 15 inch black spoke steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this is a tire and wheel assembly. It's ideal for RVs, campers and trailers. This one is a nitrogen filled tire. It maintains your tire pressure longer than standard air.
And the way you can tell that it's nitrogen filled is it'll have the green valve cap on the valve STEM. This will help prolong the life of the tire and the wheel. The wheel is a sturdy steel wheel. So the eight spoke design has a nice black powder coat finish over an e-coat primer to help resist rust. And this wheel does use the beveled stud holes right here where your lugs go.These will help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts.
The tire that's mounted on this wheel is a Westlake radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester plies for a nice long life. They do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay around the tire to help prevent tread separation. And they do have the tread wear indicators in the tread grooves like you'll see on your passenger car tires, it gives you a quick visual indication of how your tread is wearing. This is a radial ply tire so it is great for highway use.
This tire is an ST tire which means Special Trailer Tire. Has sturdy sidewalls, so it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers it's not intended for use on other vehicles. This assembly does offer the complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada or Puerto Rico. And this assembly does meet the DOT specifications, which is the Department of Transportation.
The tire will meet the federal motor vehicle safety standard specs, and the wheel meets the SAE J1204 standards. Now this does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do need to,, just to make sure that when you do buy a center cap, this pilot hole diameter, which is the large center hole in the wheel is 3.19 inches so you do need to get a center cap that will have that diameter. Few dimensions on this, starting with the wheel, the diameter, which is always measured inside the inside on this wheel is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide. Bolt pattern on this wheel is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you want to measure the bolt pattern on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs in this case five, what you want to do is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and you're going to measure across to either one of these holes but the trick is when you measure that it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to. On this, it'll measure four and a half inches so that's the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This wheel does use the wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. Now the weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,200 pounds. The tire size, which is stamped on the sidewall, ST for special trailer, 205/75R15. The R means it's a radial tire. Section width is eight inches.Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, is 27.1. This tire is a load range D which means it's an eight ply rated tire. So it does have a maximum load capacity of 2,150 pounds at 65 PSI. And the last thing I do want to mention most all the new trailer tires now are coming through with speed ratings on them. And a speed rating is always stamped with a letter designation on the tire and where you usually find that is right after the size we just went over. You'll see two numbers for the load index and then the letter L at the very end. Speed rating L will mean this tire has a 75 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Westlake Westlake ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D on this 15 inch black spoke steel trailer wheel with the five on 5 on 4-1/12 inch bolt pattern.

I purchased this tire and rim from etrailer Corporation because my 1973 Vintage Airstream had no spare when I purchased it a couple of years ago, and I felt if the time came to really need a spare, it might be difficult to locate the entire set without a great deal of effort. When I received the Tire and rim I was, and still am very pleased at the quality of this spare tire and rim its holding air now for two year and ready to use if ever needed. Thanks etrailer.

Great wheel and tire combo for replacement of worn out 1974 trailer house doughnuts when used with Dexter hub and dum assemblies. The rims are made of thick steel and manufactured to trailer specs with zero offset and tapered lug nut holes. These are far superior to automotive rims, even the white coating is applied equally heavily on the inside of the rim. The tires are load range E with a ten ply rating and a 75 mph speed rating. They come filled with nitrogen. After bolting then on and spinning them they no radial or lateral run out. I expect they will outlast me.

This was just the tire we needed to match the other tires we had on our 2021 Winnebago Micro Minnie after we got a nail in one of our tires on our first long trip. Our local tire dealer originally tried to sell us a tire that was not the same to replace the damaged tire. Then they told us they did not have this tire and could not tell us when or if they ever would. We were so glad etrailer had the tire and Jim was very helpful in insuring we got the right tire for our needs.

Purchased 5 of these to replace all the tires on our travel trailer. Previous tires were only 3 years old but had busted belts on 3 of them. These tires came shipped in boxes protecting the rim and were already mounted which was a great feature. Ordered these a load range up from our previous load range D. Fit was perfect and we installed them in less than an hour for all five. Tread wear seems nice. The warranty was a big selling feature with a 5 year warranty on the tire and a 1 year warranty on the rim plus a bonus roadside assistance and they seemed a better tire than the Kenda tires we had on previously. Hoping these tires wear and travel well as we take long trips.

Bought 4 to replace tires/wheels on my travel trailer. Pricing was excellent as was the entire order process, available information and website as a whole. The product looks to be of good quality but I cannot comment further as they have yet to be installed. This is not my first order from etrailer and it won't be my last. I have never been disappointed in anything I've purchased here.
