Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with a Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change out the flat tire with your existing inflated spare tire. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the roadside assistance, this warranty also includes other benefits and services.

Corrosion-Resistant Finish

The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and the outboard side is finished with baked-on DuPont powder paint. The light e-coat on the inboard side of the wheel reduces friction between the wheel and your hub and eliminates the flaking that can occur with a heavily applied paint finish.

Improved Torque Retention Technology

Beveled Stud Holes Front and Back

The automotive-rated center disc is raised and the stud holes are beveled and uncoated for better clamp force retention. This technology helps the wheel stay tight against your hub without the need for constant retightening.

Provider Radials

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Excellent customer service, had a couple wheels that had paint scuffs and the issue was taken care of promptly and a good value

Old tires were Hi-Run Radials that came with purchase of enclosed trailer. Tires I purchased will replace tires of which one had blown out this past summer. Maybe 2000 miles on tires. Have a feeling I rode over object on freeway. New Tires are rated above what my trailer axles and trailer itself are rated for, but with Higher Rating and Stronger Construction and Increased Speed Rating they should perform for many miles, like cheap insurance. Thanks: Phil Sr

Excellent, Better than Expected, Worth the Money.

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

I was preparing my trailer for a road trip in a few days and on a Saturday placed an order for two of these tires on modular wheels, along with new hub assemblies, because the website indicated that this item should arrive on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that the delivery date only pertained to the first tire and wheel. The following day I received notice that my order would ship in about 7 days which was unacceptable for my trip timeline. I called Monday morning to cancel my original order and place another, but this time with tires on wagon wheels, which were confirmed to be on hand. The phone representative was amazingly friendly and cooperative in handling my situation. My new order, which also included hubs and tie-down rings, shipped that day and arrived the following day! It was only after installing the new hubs and wheel assemblies that evening that I noticed I had received one "C" and one "D" load rated tire. I called again to see if I could return the pair of mismatched tire and wheel assemblies for something similar that was available for immediate shipment and was advised that I could but would be responsible for the shipping cost ($38.99) of the one assembly that was properly fulfilled by my order. I initially agreed to those terms and placed a third order for slightly lower grade tires that would arrive in time for my trip but soon afterwards changed my mind and called back to cancel that order and arrange for a replacement of the one incorrect tire and wheel assembly. Each time I called, the etrailer representative was very courteous and eager to help resolve my problem. The replacement tire and wheel arrived a couple of days too late for my trip but I am completely satisfied with the quality and appearance of these items, having since completed a 500+ mile trip with them and experienced no problems.

Tires holding up well after 3000 highway miles.

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

A while ago I bought a trailer which I had planned to turn into a tiny home. Life happened and plans changed, so the trailer sat in my driveway for two years, during which the already-old tires began to rot. I decided the best move was to sell the trailer, but obviously I have to replace the tires first. I found that ordering the tires already mounted was the best option for me (rather than jacking my trailer up, taking the tires off one side at a time, leaving the trailer jacked up and taking the old wheels somewhere to get new tires put on them... then repeating the process with the other side.) I have no experience with tire specs, wheel sizes, etc. But between reading the specs on the existing tires and the helpful measurement information on this site I was able to order the exact right wheels for my trailer. I ordered two (of four) to start because money's tight, but they arrived on time and in perfect condition, and I replaced the old ones in about 40 minutes. They look great and are perfectly inflated. Couldn't be happier! So simple I ordered the other two immediately after writing this review! Now I can sell my trailer and make that money right back!

I was able to sell my trailer with the new wheels on it and the new owner was pleased with the quality as well.

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Thank you Adam and Etrailer the tires were here in two days and we were told due to the holidays would be 5 to 7 days on free shipping. I was able to get tires on and camper moved before The Christmas holiday. Adam was very helpful and gave great advice I even asked about going up in size on the tires which would have cost more but he explained that would only be overkill. Most stores and dealers even local would have jumped at that and got the extra money. But an honest sell will always bring you back to spend money later because they are trustworthy. Thanks Adam I will come back to you for future tire needs. And the rims were great looking no chips or scratcher.

Great still look good and working fine

We are preparing a long trip with our boat and decided to upgrade our bias tires to radial. We plan to keep our old tires as spares. Our new tires arrived quick and went on easy! Thank you eTrailer!

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

I haven't used the new tires and wheels as of yet. They were ordered to replace a15 year old set on a small Travel Trailer that I have been restoring. I bought the Providers for two reasons, the 81mph rating as I tow outside of California quite a bit and most trailer tires don't like 65-70mph speeds. I also liked the more street friendly tread as I live in the mountains and braking on wet or snowy roads is critical. Tires and wheels arrived very quickly and packaged well. I have heard some folks complain about issues removing the stickers (a heat gun or blow dryer makes removal very easy). My only issue was one tire had a couple of gouges in it that appeared to be from when the tire was mounted. A call to etrailer and an e-mailed picture and they had a replacement headed my way. They also provided a UPS return shipping label at no cost. As has been my experience in the past with these folks, etrailer goes above and beyond to provide some of the best customer service I have ever experienced (having owned my own business for 40+ years I have had many occasions to deal with various companies customer service departments). Good products shipped in a timely manner at a fair price with exceptional customer service, what more can a person ask for!

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Ordered radials to replace puncture prone bias ply tires after a recent flat - again. Tires arrived 2 days after ordering. Packaged well, no damaged, mounted and inflated. The tread looks like car tires and they fill up the fender well. I have a set of Providers on my travel trailer and they have performed well, hoping these will too. I only gave 4 stars because I have no basis to rate their performance but will check back later and share an update.

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Our neighbor told us "be prepared to replace many for my fifth wheel blow out so easy, I can't even make it 500 miles without a blowout". So we purchased these tires for our fifth wheel, took them to a tire shop, had them balanced and checked the tire pressure, put em on our rig and here we are 2 monster trips (more than 6k miles) later with all four tires intact and in great condition. These tires were a very wise purchase!

Outstanding product. Just finished putting another 4,500 miles on the tires with zero problems even driving through heavy rains and high temperatures. Happy customer!

Review from a similar Provider Spoke in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Peace of mind... the change from 65 mph (top non-sustainable speed) from the OEM tires to these with 81 mph (top non-sustainable speed) has given me real peace of mind after the 1 if the OEM tires blew out on the FL. turnpike going about 65 mph taking the fender & wiring out with it. That is when I did some research on the speed rating for trailer tires! What an eye-opener. So I opted for these with the M speed rating and am very pleased. We have been humming along about 70 mph with no trepidations. Thanks.

In addition to not exceeding the tires speed rating, improperly inflating the tires or exceeding the tires load rating can also have an adverse effect on tire life and safety.

  • Can 225/75-15 be Replaced with 235/85-16 Size Tire on Trailer
The overall diameter with a 235/85-16 will be 3.2 inches taller than a 225/75-15. Since the additional diameter is split on either side of the hub that means you would have 1.6 inches less fender clearance. The width difference would be one centimeter. If you have an 8 lug wheel you would want the part # TTWA16RGWSHD which comes with a tire rated for 81 mph or if you have a 6 lug wheel you would want the part # AM32764.
