Hub-Piloted Wheel

This wheel is hub piloted, which means that it centers on the hub, not the lugs. The wheel requires the use of flange nuts (sold separately) for installation.

Corrosion-Resistant Finish

The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and finished on both sides with baked-on DuPont powder paint.

Provider Radials

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Bought this product to be used as a spare tire on my 5th wheel trailer. Very satisfied with how it arrived, on time and not damaged, how fast it arrived to my location and the overall experience of dealing with etrailers. I will remember them and use them again if the need arises.

these are great tires/wheels, no issues whatsoever!

Tires and rims are holding up well with light use. The rims came with a few nicks in the paint around the bead that were either from shipping or handling when received so there are a couple spots of rust but nothing you wouldn't expect.

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Purchased this tire/wheel combo as a spare for my utility trailer. I was amazed at the speed of delivery and the perfect match to the wheels I currently have on the trailer. I also purchased a Master #262DAT spare tire carrier lock and Wishbone #A20WB 4-way wire combo from etrailer. com. Unfortunatly, etrailer did not carry a spare tire carrier that suited my needs so I built my own, everything installed perfectly. I am extremely please with the products and customer service I received from etrailer. Will definitely purchase from etrailer again as the need arises.

After a year everything is still working great. Love the products purchased and if Im in the need for more trailer supplies etrailer is the place for me.

I could not more pleased with my 6 ply trailer tires and wheels from etrailer. I purchased the tires mounted on the wheels, took them out of the box and put them on my boat trailer. That was a year ago and have had no problems. Previously I had been blowing out 4ply tires as the Triton boat is heavy. This is not my first purchase from etrailer. They sell quality products at a great price and want you to be satisfied as a customer. Thanks George!

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

I love my new wheels and tires that I ordered from etrailer. I was told that the order wouldn't arrive for 4 to 5 business days so was totally surprised when the order showed up at my business the very next day. The wheels and tires on my trailer were the originals in 2002 when I bought my trailer. The wheels were rusted and even though the tires still had tread I knew that I was on borrowed time. I use the trailer for business and it was important to me that it looked as good as possible and was dependable. I did a lot of research and found etrailer to be very competitive as far as price, but was most impressed with their many positive reviews which I am glad to add mine to.

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

I needed to replace all four tires on my camper. Etrailer made that easy for me by providing information online as to tire specifications and hub configuration. Pricing with rims included was very competitive even against tire discounters who offered tires only. Mounted tires were shipped (free shipping) promptly and delivered to my door by UPS. Each tire was individually boxed and had the proper inflation. Easily swapped out the tires in my driveway yesterday saving me a lot of rigamarole running back and forth with the camper to have new tires mounted. Picture attached.

Called into etrailer and spoke with Katherina. She was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk with. Katherina personally processed my order to make sure it shipped properly (ordered over 4th of July weekend and have a trip scheduled the next weekend). I received personal updates from Katherina when the order shipped and was delivered. The tires/wheels arrived separately boxed in nice packaging that was not dented or damaged. These will be put on tonight and driven roughly 1,000 miles over the next week! I will definitely be shopping through etrailer again! Photo shows the old wheels/tires mounted on the trailer next to the new wheels/tires.

The Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R 15 On Silver Mod - 5/5 is an excellent radial tire/wheel combo for the price! Purchased to use as a spare on my 8' x 12' foot flat bed/utility trailer. This purchased wheel matches my current wheels and once my current ST205/75D (biased) tires wear out, I plan to replace with the radial tire version purchased here via etrailer.com

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Wheels and tires arrived in flawless condition, shipping time was good, they were a perfect fit on my trailer and much more superior looking than the tires I took off. Also very happy to check the tires and see that they were all manufactured at the same time of this year! As of now they've only been mounted on the trailer, no towing with them yet...

So far so good. I have only put about 2000 miles on these tires but over half of this was interstate driving pulling 5000 pounds. They track well and kept traction in the rain.

Great wheels & tires upgrade for our (then-new) Zieman ski trailer! We haul our skis from CA to AZ several times a year and wanted a bigger/better wheel and tire to handle not only the distance, but all the conditions that we put the trailer through (miles of roads, heat, dirt, sand & water) and these have handled it all exceptionally well.

Satisfied with the the set up. Ordering was a little hairy since we were changing & upgrading the wheel and tire setup on the trailer. After two arrivals were incorrect, it was straitened out. All seven did arrive quickly with free shipping. I would recommend using etrailer.com. Always double check the specs. twice when ordering online. Phone support was very helpful.

I bought these (2) wheels and tires to replace a pair of 7.00-15 wheels and tires on a much abused 1969 Airstream Safari 23 that I was rehabilitating. They arrived within 2/3 days and were as advertised. I have put about 800 miles on the trailer since installing them and have had no problems.

Comments
I purchased one more of these tire wheel combinations several months ago to use as a spare for the trailer. Ive never had a spare tire that was identical to the originals. Same excellent service from etrailer.

Tires showed up around 5:30pm on the 3rd day, I was happy for that. I Installed the tires right away. Took my truck and trailer down the road and was really happy with them. I have a 25ft gooseneck trailer, the tires look really good. I will see how they do when the trailer is loaded with a 13,000lbs track skid loader.

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

Good looking wheel and tire package; bought three - one spare - very happy with product. Two issues, one of them mine. 1. etrailer issue - Tires were unevenly inflated on arrival - two at 46 psi, one at 26 psi. 2. my issue and a tip for others - original tires on the 1968 trailer were 195's bought 205's; had to jack the trailer body up (increasing the distance to the axle so I could jam the tire up between the trailer body and the brake drum.. they fitted - just. I fear a roadside flat. Tows well with these tires when inflated to the 50 psi max.

Comments
Not many miles traveled 12 months later just a couple of psi top up otherwise tires are still perfect and the trailer tows very steady.

Super nice tires and wheels for my boat trailer. I replaced some c range tires and gal wheels that were close to 10 years old. What a relief to find a perfect product to relieve the worry of a blowout. Excellent service with down to earth people.

Review from a similar Provider Silver Mod in Trailer Tires and Wheels

This was my first time purchasing tires online. I was a bit apprehensive, but this transaction went flawless. I just put them on my boat trailer, so I don't have a comment about longevity yet. They fit perfectly. I am very glad that there are tires in this size that are D load rating. When I went to push the boat into the garage, I was surprised at how easily it pushed. I had to catch it before the prop hit the back wall. I will assume that the trailer will pull much easier now. Great communication. Great website with helpful info, like how to make sure that the bolt hole size is correct. I had a blowout on my previous tire and needed these quick. They arrived on time and in great shape, ready to run. Thanks so very much!!!

Comments

Ordered these based on positive reviews and advice from Etrailer's excellent staff. The tires arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I installed these on my 17' Casita and they fit fine with plenty of clearance. They are definitely a higher duty tire than stock, which is what I was looking for.

For load rang H tires we only have those in the 17-1/2 inch size. If there is room enough above the tires you have now to go to the taller size then you certainly could as long as you have an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern.
