Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 15-inch by six-inch Condor matte gunmetal aluminum trailer wheel with a five on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel, which is durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. And we mentioned it's the Condor series, which you can see is a split five-spoke design and a complete matte gunmetal finish on it. It does use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to help protect from scuffs and scratches. And one of the features I like on this wheel is the steel inserts that are pressed into the lug nut wells right here.

And it's designed to help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you go to mount this up onto your hub, you put it over the wheel bolt, put your lug nuts on, torque 'em down. And when you torque 'em down, these steel inserts prevent those holes from wearing down over time. So it eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. If you notice right here, the valve stem is included.

Now, the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website. You do wanna get a center cap that'll match the same diameter as this pilot hole right here, which is 3.19 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. A few measurements on this.

We're gonna measure the diameter. And when you measure the diameter on a wheel, it's always measured inside to inside. So if we go all the way across, you can see there's your 15-inch diameter. The width on the wheel, six inches, which is inside to inside, or bead seat to beat seat. There's your six-inch wheel.

And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, it's an odd number of lugs, like in this case five. You just pick one of the holes, let's say this hole, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes right across from it. But when you measure it, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. So on this wheel, it'll measure 4 1/2 inches. So that's saying it's a five on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. It does use the wheel lug size of 1/2-inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds.
