This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 15-inch by six inch Osprey gun metal gray aluminum trailer wheel at the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight and rust proof, and we mentioned it is an Osprey series wheels, which means it's a split six spoke design. You can see has a gun metal grade finish, and then they do a machine face on the edge of the spokes and even on the outer lip, gives it a nice shine to the wheel.
They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front, protects from scuffs and scratches. One of the nice features I like on this wheel is they put the steel inserts in the lug nut wells to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you put this up onto your hub, this wheel studs come through. You put your lug nuts on there, and you go to torque 'em down. These steel inserts prevent the holes from elongating, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts.
They do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Flat tire service is available 24-7, anywhere in the US, Canada or Puerto Rico. If you notice right over here, they do include the valve stem. It's already installed. Now, the center cap is not included.
If you do want to center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole 'cause when you install your center cap on this wheel, it'll install through the rear. The diameter on this pilot hole is 4.25 inches. This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAEJ 1204 standards. A few measurements on this.
We're gonna measure the diameter and the width, and the diameter is always measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure, and if we go inside to inside, you'll be able to see there's your 15-inch diameter. The width be the same way, inside to inside, or bead seat to bead seat. There's your six inches wide. Now, this wheel does have a bolt pattern of six on five and a half inches, and if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs, like this case, six. It's pretty easy because the lug holes will be directly across from each other, so it makes it easier to measure it. So when you measure, just pick any hole. Let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the one right across from it. On this wheel, it'll measure five and a half inches. So that means it's a six lug, five and a half inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds, but that's gonna do it for the review on this Lionshead 15 inch by six inch Osprey gun metal gray aluminum trailer wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern.
