Specs:
This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range C, and it's mounted on this 15-inch silver modular steel wheel with the 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and campers. The wheel, it is a sturdy steel wheel, has a modular design, and when we say modular design, that's the one that has the round holes all the way around the design of the wheel. It's very sturdy and corrosion resistant. It does use a silver powder coat over an e-coat primer for excellent corrosion resistance.
A few dimensions on the wheel itself, the diameter of the wheel is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel by itself is five inches wide. Now, this wheel does have a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-3/4 inches. And the way to measure that on a wheel like this that's an odd number of lugs, you just pick any one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to.
So on this one, if we put a ruler on that, it would measure 4 3/4 inches. So it's a five-lug, 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 2,150 pounds. Now if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want those, we do sell those separately on our website.
You just want to make sure to get a center cap that'll match this pilot hole diameter, which is this diameter of the large hole here, it's 3.19 inches. Now, the tire on this, it is a Kenda Karrier radial tire. It is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire, has a sturdy sidewall so that it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers, it's not intended for use on other vehicles. Does use double steel belts and full nylon plies, which combine for superior function and long life.
And it is a radial tire, which is great for highway use. The tread design on it, if you can see it, is a automotive grade computer-generated tread. It has the sipes, which are the cuts in the tread blocks, and that channels water away from underneath the tire to improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Now, the tire size, which on this tire will be right here along the rim of the wheel, ST for Special Trailer, 205/75R15. The R means it is a radial tire. Section width on this tire, which is gonna be this width, is gonna be 8.1 inches. The overall diameter from the bottom to the top, when it's inflated, it's 27.3. We mentioned this tire is a load range C, which means it's a 6-ply rated tire. Does have a maximum load capacity of 1,820 pounds at 50 PSI. One last thing I do want to mention, most all the new trailer tires are coming through with speed ratings on them, and the speed rating is stamped on the sidewall by a letter designation. On this one it'll be a M. So right after the size, you'll see two numbers for the load index, and then the letter M, speed rating M, will mean that this is an 81 mile-per-hour speed rated tire. And this whole tire and wheel assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. But that should do it for the review on the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range C on a 15-inch silver modular steel wheel with the 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern.

I have a pop-up camper that was converted to a utility trailer. The old rims were very rusty and I only found out when I went to install this new Kenda tire/rim combo that the old rims were bent/warped and difficult to remove from center bore. This new Kenda tire and rim combo makes my trailer look so much better! The rubber on these tires is very grippy, which I really like! My old, dry-rotted tires felt like plastic to the touch with no grip whatsoever. I used the etrailer website to learn how to properly measure the spacing between lugs to ensure I buy the right size. Shipping came super quick and all in one box. Tires were filled to the correct psi. I could not have been happier! I've since replaced the sides of the trailer with pressure treated wood, added 2 strips of 2"x 2"x6', 1/4" thick angle iron to the underside of the 2x8x8 plank flooring and used it to haul loam and crushed rock. All went super smooth and feels great to be able to use my utility trailer again!
As advertised
Received the wheels and tires for both the boat and new to me 7k trailer replaced the stopped hub on front axle w/ hub purchased through these guys as well as wheels and tires
Drove 2200 miles with ZERO issues
Same with the second trip with the boat zero problems or issues
Purchased 4 of these tires to replace the tires on a used travel trailer. The ones that came on the trailer were newer but were a brand I could not trace the origin of and could find zero manufacturer information. I was preparing for a 1000+ trip and didn't feel comfortable with the tires that came with my new-to-me trailer. After shopping around locally, these tires were less expensive than what I could get a comparable tire for (without rim) mounted at a local chain tire store.
The Kenda Karriers shipped fast from etrailer. They were mounted and inflated perfectly and it took my son and I about 30 minutes total to make the swap.
We made the trip about ~550 miles each way in 90+ heat. I gave the tires little thought other than a check or two during the trip when I thought about it. Zero issues. Very happy with this product and the purchase experience.
The packages arrived before the scheduled delivery. Each tire was in its’ own box undamaged with convenient carrying handles x2. The rims and tires were perfect. Each D rated tire had 65#’s of air in them already. All I had to do was bolt them on. I highly recommend e trailer.
Great fit ,excellent paint on wheels ,tires were nice looking too...thanks
I googled search for trainler spare for Coleman 17B RV trailer and etrailer come up with the exact tire / rim that i needed.
Easy order and correct specifications for my Coleman 17B trailer. I received in prompt time with no issues. I matched it with my trailer and it fits perfect.
Thanks,
I ordered one of these as a replacement after a blow out, and gave it 3 stars because, I had not had a chance to test it much. It has a been a few months and a few thousand miles, and I like it.
This is the highest load rating I have been able to find a 14 inch tire, and it shows. With one of these on one side, and the best I could find locally on the other, it was clear the other was struggling.
These hold pressure well, and the like to have 70PSI in them. The look like holding up my 18 foot camper (single axle) fully loaded is a what they are made for.
I ordered this tire make a matched pair on the camper.
Service and delivery was very good. Disappointed that the tires were already 1 year and 8 months old. That means I might 3 years use out of the tires. They are for my camper and should be changed out between 4 to 5 years to avoid blowouts. Plus warranty is from the date manufactured. DOT on tires were 3122 and 3322. Was told there was a high turnaround on the tires so I shouldn't worry about getting tires almost 2 years old. Age of tires is important on trailers.
These tires will be used on a 5X10 Personal Welding Trailer that I use for repairs on my Farm. I also use it for other projects that I have off the property. This requires a durable tire that will stand up to the weight and speed of traveling down the Interstate.
Product was as described, order was quickly processed, shipping was free with order over $100 and the product arrived on the day it was expected!
I bought this tire as a replacement spare to our trailer camper. etrailer had my exact tire when many others did not -and for a reasonable price. I liked all the specs & info provided on their webpage. It helped me know for certain that this tire fits my trailer. I especially liked their guidance on how to determine the bolt pattern - nice! Thanks etrailer.
Etrailers was a great find for my horse trailer tires. I will be back to purchase my next set when needed. Thanks so much!
Used them on a boat trailer for the first time today and it didn’t last 10 miles and blew one of the tires. The rim was shot as soon as o noticed. Have had them in my trailer stored until now. Maybe had them 2 months. Would not recommend these tires if they are going to blow like this. Glad the pieces of tire also runnier my boats paint! Great time! Thanks for selling trash tire and rim packages! Out $XXX and stranded on the side of the road……..

I am a bit confused on what is wrong. I see that the measurement is correct. The measurement is supposed to be from the center of the bolt hole to the edge of the third bolt hole [like what you showed me in your image]. Are you having issues with the fit on your hub? If so, I would be more than happy to help you find the correct wheel needed. I also have a link below for your reference on the best ways to measure.
