The tire on this assembly has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Welcome back, etrailer neighbors. I'm Steven, and today we're looking at this Kenda Karrier 205/7515 Radial Tire with the Silver Galv Star Wheel. So this particular tire wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, campers, that kind of stuff. Again, not for vehicle use, strictly trailer camper only. It does have a very nice dark silver finish. It's gonna have superior oxidation protection with the zinc coat, the E-coat and that powder coat all into one.
So very nice finish. Hoping you can kind of see that with the shadow and the light and whatnot. It's kind of like a little hammered kind of finish, if you are used to that kind of terminology. The hammered paint finish. Very nice.
It's got a very nice tread pattern here. And with these guys, they use a computer generated tread design. So they've tested these tread patterns over time with computer models and in the, you know, their test facilities and whatnot, and they've determined these are the best ones for the traction. So that being said, again, it is a 15 inch rim diameter. The diameter of the rim itself, if you had no tire on there, it would be five inches wide.
It is what they call a five lug on four and a half inch pattern. And I'm gonna kind of come to the front here and show you. So on a odd number lug, you want to take one lug, measure directly across in between two other lugs, directly across center to center, and that's your measurement. So in this one it's five on four and a half inch lug pattern. Make sure you're checking that.
You can go to etrailer.com, check our website. We've got pictures with diagrams that show you how to measure that. That's probably honestly the number one thing that tires get returned for. They didn't measure that lug pattern. They just said, oh, I got five lugs, and they order one that's the right size. But unfortunately that lug pattern is just enough different that it won't fit their trailer camper. So again, check out etrailer.com, make sure you get the right lug pattern measurement. Now, the holes inside of that rim are half inch. That's usually a half inch by 20 inch or half inch by 20 thread count on those lugs. The wheel is rated itself at 200 or 2,200 pounds. It has a zero offset, so everything's centered up there in the middle of the rim. As far as a pilot hole diameter, inside here you got 3.19 inches across. Again, the tire, the 205/75 15. The section width, so the width of the tire face here all the way across, that is 8 point, or sorry, 8 and 1/8 inches. And then the outer diameter of this tire all the way across is 27 and 5/16 from side to side on the outer diameter. It's a load range C, six ply tire. It is rated at 1,820 pounds at 50 PSI. It does have a max speed rating of 81 miles per hour. So I know you guys aren't gonna go that fast because we all go to the posted speed limit, right Exactly. Keep it safe out there. So a five year warranty on the tire itself, two year on the rim itself. This again is the Kenda Loadstar Tire 205/75 R 15 with that Silver Galv Star Wheel. I'm Steven with etrailer.com. I hope this helps you with your decision if you're just upgrading tires or simply replacing them. Again, Kenda is a very good brand. You'll be happy with your purchase. Have a great day.
