Excellent trailer tire. This tire is used on a drill rig trailer that gets dragged through the woods on a regular basis by heavy equipment. Holding fast and going strong....

Review from a similar Mobile Home Tire in Trailer Tires and Wheels

This was my first order I wasn't extremely impressed with. Shipping was reasonable, as I ordered it before the new years holiday. Unfortunately this is a job I'm on a time line with, and two of my tires showed up looking like they've sat for 5 years at the bottom of a stack. Worst part is, they are load rating G so they aren't the most flexible tires either. I'll see how sitting them in front of heat all night does for them... Coming off a good truck, they weren't even slipping over the rims.

Ask the Experts about this Kenda Trailer Tires and Wheels

  • Needing 8-14.5 Tire That isn't for a Mobile Home
The Kenda # AM10333 is a Light Truck 8-14.5 size tire with an F load rating, at 2835 lb load rating per tire. It isn't a 1 time use tire (although it can be used on mobile home axles), so it'll work great for you.

  • Recommended Heavy Duty 8-14.5 Tire For Trailer Carrying Bulldozer
I would be happy to help! I recommend the Kenda 8-14.5LT Bias Trailer Tire - Load Range F # AM10333 which have 12 plys and a 2,835-lb maximum load at 100 psi. It is important that you use a trailer tire like the tire mentioned and not a mobile home tire, as mobile home tires are designed for one time use. If you can tell me the weight of your Bulldozer and the number of axles on your trailer I would be happy to confirm that these tires will be strong enough for you. You will need...

  • Availability of Trailer Tire Size 8-14.5 for Mobile Home Trailer
Those two tire sizes are very different. The 8-14.5 fits on a wheel that has a diameter of 14.5 inches and the 5.70-8 fits on a 8 inch wheel. Since you said mobile home trailer tire sounds like you are in need of an 8-14.5 which for that we have the part # AM10289 which has a capacity of 3,070 lbs when inflated to 116 psi.

  • What Does One Time Use for Mobile Home Trailer Tire Mean
The mobile home tire like # AM10327 is considered one time use since normally it's installed on a mobile home trailer and once the trailer is parked at the trailer park it's not used again. It's not that the tire basically self destructs after one use but the normal application for mobile home trailer tires is just getting them to their final location and then they are left there. If ever needed again it would be several years later and by that time the tires would be deteriorated to the...

  • What Size Tire Is A 8-14.5 and Can It Be Replaced with a Car Tire?
An 8-14.5 tire is a metric sized tire that has a rim width range of 6 inches and an overall diameter of 27.7 inches. An 8-14.5 tire is normally seen on a motor home axle, which is designed for one time use only. A good ply G rated tire to replace this is the # AM10327 it has a maximum capacity of 3,070lbs at 116psi. For a ply E rated tire we have the # AM10321. This tire will have a maximum capacity of 2,540lbs at 85 psi. Some trailers can use a light truck tire but you do not...

  • Recommendation for Special Trailer Tire To Replace 8-14.5 LT Tires
It sounds like you have wheels and tires that were on a mobile home. These are not a common size and if they came from a mobile home then they are meant for one time use. We do have a few 14-1/2 inch tires that could be used as replacements: Item # AM10327 rated for 3,070-lbs at 116 psi and Item # AM10321 rated for 2,600-lbs at 85 psi. You might be able to move to a different and more common size (like a 15 inch tire) but only if there is 3-4 inches of clearance space with the trailer...

  • Replacement Tires For 14.5" Mobile Home Wheels
You will need the Kenda K391M Mobile Home Tire in either a Load Range E # AM10321 or Load Range G # AM10327 for your mobile home rims. These tires are specific to the 14.5" rim that mobile homes have and the same 8-14.5 that is on the wheels. A 205/75R15 tire will not properly sit on the 14.5" rim which will cause it to not hold air.

  • Are Mobile Home Tires Rated for Highway Use
It's not so much the size of the tire as it is the speed rating on the tire. A good example that's similar to your 14.5 x 7 tires are the Kenda # AM10327 which have a M speed rating, so you'll be limited to 81mph during highway travel. You would want to look at the specs on your tire to see what the speed rating is to determine their highway suitability. With that said, the biggest issue with mobile home parts is that they're only designed for 1 time use, so your tires are not designed...

  • Can 8-14.5 Mobile Home Tires Replace 7-14.5 Mobile Home Tires
Yes, our 8-14.5 size tires, Kenda # AM10321 and # AM10327, are acceptable replacements for your 7-14.5 size tires. You will just want to make sure that the extra inch of height will not interfere with your farm trailer. Please keep in mind that mobile home tires like these are meant for only a one-time use. Since you will probably be getting a lot of use out of your farm trailer you may want to consider using a different tire/wheel combination. If you do wish to change this equipment...

  • Replacement Tire Solution Recommendation for Trailer with Motorhome Tire 7-14.5
Best tire replacement solution we have would be the Kenda K391M Mobile Home Tire # AM10327 which is similar to what you have and based on the amount of dry rot on the picture in your tire would be a huge improvement. That said your ideal solution will be to replace the axle you have with a standard trailer axle so that you can use trailer components that are designed for more than one-time use. • Are 14-1/2 Inch Trailer Tires Common and Options for 14-1/2 Inch Trailer Tires
While not common there are trailers out there that use 14-1/2 inch tires. We do have a couple of 14-1/2 inch tires; # AM10327 rated for 3,070 pounds at 116 psi and # AM10321 rated for 2,600 pounds at 85 psi. Assuming you go with the higher capacity option it would take 6 of them to have enough capacity for an 8 ton application. You could potentially go to a different, more common size (I would go to a 15 inch) but only if there is space enough on the trailer for the larger size.
