This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
The NitroFill inflation process filters out oxygen to ensure that this tire-and-wheel assembly is filled with 95 to 99.9 percent pure nitrogen. Nitrogen-inflated tires maintain pressure better than tires inflated with standard air. This makes them ideal for RVs and trailers that are driven infrequently or sit in storage for long periods of time. Other benefits of consistent tire pressure are better fuel economy, improved braking and handling, decreased chance of tire failure, and longer tire life.
A tire inflated with standard air, which contains oxygen, is prone to fluctuations in pressure due to loss of air over time and ambient temperature changes. Nitrogen-inflated tires don't experience these fluctuations for a couple reasons. First, nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules, so they are less likely to permeate a rubber tire. Second, nitrogen is a dry gas, so it won't allow condensation to build inside the tire. A tire inflated with standard air may have moisture in it, which means it is more likely to be affected by ambient temperature.
In addition, the moisture that can collect in a tire inflated with standard air will contribute to corrosion of the wheel and deterioration of the rubber tire from the inside out. A nitrogen-inflated tire-and-wheel assembly is less likely to experience this type of decay. Less moisture in the tire also means reduced running temperatures.
If necessary, you can top off the tire with standard compressed air. But to maintain the benefits of nitrogen, the tire must be refilled with nitrogen.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

With their help I was able to purchase an American made tire with a load rating I was comfortable with putting on our RV. Doing so required new wheels, but it was worth the cost to get a quality American made tire we can travel securely with. I ordered the tires and wheels (Goodyear G114 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire w/ 17-1/2" Lynx Wheel - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR H – Black) on Tuesday, January 11th and received them on Thursday January 13th. I took them to a local tire shop for balancing and had them installed by 2:00 PM Friday, January 14th. Everything fit well. The new tires are about 1 ½ inches smaller in diameter than the old tires which lowers the camper by ¾ inch. Though we have less ground clearance, we now have more roof clearance. Everyone at eEtrailer is so helpful, from my initial questions on whether these tires and wheels would fit, to several questions I had when ordering, as well as several questions I had after I placed the order. Great company, great people, and quality products at a fair price.
Ordered as an upgrade for my fifth wheel. Tires came in great shape, filled with nitrogen, and ready to mount. They were shipped with the labels on the tire, no boxes to deal with. There were a few dings on the rim but nothing that was a deal breaker and nothing that looked like it would affect the use. Overall I’m extremely happy and looking forward to see how they ride.
