This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Goodyear Wrangler LT235/75R15 off-road tire in a Load Range C, and it's mounted on this 15 inch Eagle Aluminum Wheel with the 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for campers, compact trailers, light trucks, and SUVs that might be off-roading on mud or other uneven terrain. And it can also be used on highways and other paved roads. The tire is a Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac radial tire, has the enhanced tread design to handle deep mud and snow. You can see the deep, rugged tread channels.
These will help channel water and debris away from your tire to improve traction during wet, snowy, or muddy conditions. Now, the tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall. Right here, you can see LT for light truck. 235/75R15, the R means radial. Now, the section width on this is gonna be 9.3 inches.
Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 28.9 inches. It is a Load Range C tire, which means it's a six-ply rated tire, has a maximum load capacity of 1,985 pounds at 50 psi. And it does have a speed rating. And they do stamp the speed rating on the sidewall, and it's listed with a letter designation. On this tire, it's gonna have a speed rating of Q, which is 99 miles an hour.
And where you'll find that is right after the tire size we went over. There's two numbers for the load index, and then you'll see the letter Q stamped there. Now, the wheel it's on is a nice aluminum wheel, it's durable, lightweight, and rustproof. This one is the Eagle Series, which you can see is a split five-spoke design that's in a matte black finish. They do use a nice automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to help protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches.
One of the nice features I like on this wheel is right here in the lug nut wells, they use these steel inserts that are pressed into the lug nut wells. And that's designed to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. Basically, when you put this up on your hub, put your lugs on and torque them down, prevents those holes from elongating or wearing down over time. So it eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Now, the wheel itself, the diameter is 15 inches. Width on just the wheel, six inches wide. Bolt pattern is a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five. What you need to do is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you'll measure across to either one of these holes. But the trick is when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this wheel, it's gonna measure 4 1/2 inches. So that means it's a 5 lug, 4 1/2 half inch bolt pattern. Wheel lug size on this, this uses a 1/2 inch by 20. And the weight capacity on the wheel is 2,200 pounds. If you noticed, they do not include a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You just wanna make sure you get a center cap that has the same diameter as the pilot hole here, 'cause when you install it, your cap will go through this hole. The diameter on the pilot hole is 3.19 inches. Now, you do wanna keep in mind that the maximum capacity of this combined tire and wheel assembly is 1,985 pounds. And this tire and wheel assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Goodyear Wrangler LT235/75R15 off-road tire in a Load Range C, mounted on this 15 inch Eagle Aluminum Wheel with the 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
