This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm taking a look at this Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack LT 225 75 R16 Offroad Radial tire in a load range E, and it's mounted on this 16 inch black liger aluminum wheel with the six on 5 1/2 bow pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly, it is ideal for over landing campers and trailers light trucks and SUVs that are offroading on mud or other uneven terrain. Can also be used on highways or paved roads. The wheel it's mounted on is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof.
And it is the liger series, which is the six spoke design. Has a matte black finish to it. And then if you look on the edge of the spokes, it is a machine face and even on the lips there's areas where it is machined also. Gives a nice look to it. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front.
Helps protect the wheel from any scuffs and scratches. And also where your lug nuts installed in these lug nut wells, they do use steel inserts in there which will help keep the wheels securely in place on your trailer hub when you tighten your lugs down. Prevents those holes from elongating or wearing down. Eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lug nuts. Now the tire on this, it's a very unique tire.
It is the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack Radial Tire. Has a very aggressive tread to handle the deep mud and snow. Has a very deep tread depth of 18/32 of an inch. And inside the grooves here, these tread grooves, they give a attractive groove technology which will give even enhanced traction also. The shoulder blocks right here, these are a self-cleaning shoulder block.
They'll clear the tread of any debris for better traction. And also if you look on the corner here or the shoulder of the side wall, you'll notice they have this raised block design also around the shoulder. That's to help protect that shoulder from any damage. The shoulder area of your tires is where most of your heat buildup. So that would be one of the first places that you'll have problems or damage to. So they build that up with a lot of rubber protecting it. And then also, if you look closely around right here, where the wheel, they have a rim protector, which is an extra portion of rubber that sticks out. And what that does, it'll help protect the wheel from any curb damage. So if you get close to a curb, it's actually gonna hit this raised section here before it's gonna hit your wheel. So that'll also protect your wheel from any damage. Now this assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. The tire will meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Specs and the wheel meets the SAEJ 1204 standards. If you notice this does not come with a center cap. If you do want one, we do sell those separately. What you wanna make sure is to get a center cap that has a diameter of 4.25 inches, which is the diameter of your center hole or your pilot hole right here, 'cause your center cap will install through this hole. A few specs again on the wheel itself. The diameter, 16 inches. The width on just the wheel, six inches wide. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs, like in this case six. It's pretty simple 'cause the lug holds are directly right across from each other. So when you go to measure it, just pick any hole. Let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole. Right across from it. On this one it'll measure 5 1/2 inches. So it's a six lug, 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. It will use a wheel lug size of either half inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18. And the weight capacity on just the wheel is 3,300 pounds. Now the tire size, which will be stamped on the side wall, LT for light truck 225 75 R16. R means it's a radial tire. Section width on it, 8.8 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top where it's inflated, it's 29.3. It is a low range E, which means it's a 10 ply rated tire. So it does have a maximum load capacity of 2,680 pounds at 80 psi. And one of the last things I do wanna mention is they are coming through with a speed rating on the tire now and the speed rating is always stamped on the sidewall with a letter designation. So on this one where you'll find it is right after the tire size we went over. You'll see two numbers for the load index and then the letter Q stamped on there. Speed rating Q will mean it's a 99 mile per hour speed rating. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack LT 225 75 R16 off-road radial tire in a load range E mounted on this 16 inch black liger aluminum wheel with a six on 5 1/2 bolt pattern.
