Limited Warranty with Free Tire Replacement

This tire has a limited warranty with free tire replacement on workmanship defects. You are eligible for this warranty within the first 12 months from date of purchase or the first 2/32" of usable tread, whichever comes first.

Goodyear Endurance Radials

This radial ply tire from Goodyear is constructed with double steel belts and triple polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation and an inner liner made out of halobutyl rubber reduces air loss.

Goodyear Endurance Durawall Technology

This Goodyear Endurance tire was built with Durawall technology, which is used on a lot of Goodyear's light truck tires for severe, heavy-duty use. This technology consists of a rubber compound that reinforces the sidewall to help prevent cuts, punctures, and other damage. Furthermore, the tire has a scuff guard, which is the raised strip of rubber on the sidewall. This protects the tire from abrasion if you hit a curb.

Goodyear Endurance Tread

And unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Goodyear Endurance tires has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Goodyear Endurance Coupling Grooves

The tread also consists of decoupling grooves that run along the outer edges of the tire. These grooves help evenly distribute the pressure that is put on the tire from contact with the road. When this happens, the grooves wear out faster than the surrounding tread, which minimizes irregular wear, especially when you're towing. Additionally, these outer edges usually heat up more quickly than the rest of the tire, and these decoupling grooves help keep it cool.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Well, its been a year since I bought these tires. Been to South Fla, Myrtle Bch, Virginia Bch, back to Fla. A few camping trips in between. Getting ready to head to South Fla. again. Im thinking theres 2500 miles on them, and the niblets are still on the side of the tires. Hope I just did not jinx myself. They are good tires.....................

I ordered these tires for my camper trailer as the tire sidewalls were showing signs of dry rot. I had a minor glitch at checkout but was able to complete my order with minimal effort. Customer Support was exceptional. I received the tires in just a few days and they were shipped in separate cardboard boxes. This made mounting the tires much easier than when nylon bands are used to wrap tires together as this can cause issues with setting the bead. The tires are now on my trailer and they look great!! 666221

I have 4 of the Goodyear Endurance st tires (8 ply, rated 87mph) on my boat trailer (22ft bay boat) and they are great. I can comfortably tow at 70mph on the Interstate with peace of mind knowing that I will not have a blowout. Thanks to etrailer I got these tires in about 4 days. They were in stock and I did not have to wait for them. Easy to order on my laptop. I have been using etrailer for several years now for parts for my trailers (5th wheeler, 2 boat trailers, lawnmower trailer) and I have never been disappointed with with the quick shipping and service when I needed to call them for assistance. 672254

The tires worked fine last year. This year due to campground closures and time of year we have not taken the trailer out. It appears that we may not get the trailer out all year if things don't turn better fast. The only tire related issue I has was finding some place to get the tires installed. Make certain you have somewhere to take the trailer that is willing to change tires and such. 772705

After a year of ownership I have absolutely no complaints. We took our trailer on an epic 3 month trip around the southwest and had no tire issues the whole trip. The tires they replaced were 5 years old or older and the trailer had been purchased used so we really did not have a true feel of how hard they had actually been used during that time. This purchase was to give us that warm fuzzy feeling for our long trip. Worked like a charm, tires were not part of our concerns at any time. Thanks 763062

  • Goodyear Endurance or Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Tire for Boat Trailer at Higher Highway Speeds
In terms of speed rating the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # 724864519 is certainly superior to the Kenda Karrier # AM10235, as it features an 87 mph maximum speed (compared to 81 mph on the Kenda). Based on your question, where it seems like you regularly dip into the 80's on the highway on the way to the ocean, this superior speed rating alone does push me towards the Goodyear Endurance Tire. The high speed rating though isn't the only thing that sets the Goodyear...

  • Should Bias Tires be Upgraded to Radial for Towing Trailer Around the US
The only reason you would want to use bias tires over radials is if you were primarily using the trailer for off-road purposes like around the farm. If the trailer is going to be used on pavement the majority (or all) of the time then by all means use radials because they tend to have higher speed ratings and are built to have more flex and dissipate heat better than bias. For your application I recommend going with the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # 724864519 because...

  • How Many Miles and How Long Will My Goodyear Tires Last
Since trailer tires are built with a thicker side wall they are designed to take a heavier load so they don't really have a mileage rating. Most trailer tires last 5-6 years before they should be replaced. However, there a few reasons for failure. Heat buildup is the leading reason for blow outs so it is a good idea to keep your trailer under the weight capacity of the tires. Overloaded tires allow for heat build up which leads to blow outs. Most tires require they be filled to max...

For this, I recommend the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire part # 724864519 which is largely considered to be the best tire on the market and is one of the few still made in the states. It's nearly impossible to determine the correct width of a given rim unless the tire is removed. You'd then measure the spacing between the bead seats as shown in the provided diagram. • Load Rating of Goodyear Endurance 724864519 ST205/75-14 Tire at 55psi
Goodyear is the only tire we offer that provides inflation information at various pressures. At 55 psi, the # 724864519 ST205/75-14 tire you'd looked at would have a 1850 lb per tire/3700 lb per axle capacity. I've provided a copy of the pressure chart for you that shows the load capacity of the tire at various pressures.

  • Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size 205/75R15 for Jayco
As long as the tire's weight capacity is adequate for the weight of your trailer when loaded you'd be totally fine regardless of if that was the exact same size and Load Range the manufacturer put on the trailer. In the tire size of 205/75R15 I highly recommend the USA made Goodyear Endurance part # 724864519 which has a weight capacity of 2,040 max load at 65 psi, a higher speed rating, and is made in the USA. I attached a review video for more info on the tire as well.
