Limited Warranty with Free Tire Replacement

This tire has a limited warranty with free tire replacement on workmanship defects. You are eligible for this warranty within the first 12 months from date of purchase or the first 2/32" of usable tread, whichever comes first.

Goodyear Endurance Radials

This radial ply tire from Goodyear is constructed with double steel belts and triple polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation and an inner liner made out of halobutyl rubber reduces air loss.

Goodyear Endurance Durawall Technology

This Goodyear Endurance tire was built with Durawall technology, which is used on a lot of Goodyear's light truck tires for severe, heavy-duty use. This technology consists of a rubber compound that reinforces the sidewall to help prevent cuts, punctures, and other damage. Furthermore, the tire has a scuff guard, which is the raised strip of rubber on the sidewall. This protects the tire from abrasion if you hit a curb.

Goodyear Endurance Tread

And unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Goodyear Endurance tires has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Goodyear Endurance Coupling Grooves

The tread also consists of decoupling grooves that run along the outer edges of the tire. These grooves help evenly distribute the pressure that is put on the tire from contact with the road. When this happens, the grooves wear out faster than the surrounding tread, which minimizes irregular wear, especially when you're towing. Additionally, these outer edges usually heat up more quickly than the rest of the tire, and these decoupling grooves help keep it cool.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Bought these to replace my Goodyear Marathon travel trailer tires, which were 6 years old. The Marathons were great tires, so figured the new Endurance tires should be similar or better. Just had mounted yesterday so can’t say yet, here’s hoping. I commend etrailer for their excellent service. I ordered them mid day on a Tuesday, free shipping, was given estimated arrival of following Wednesday at the latest. To my surprise they showed up 3 days later on Friday morning! Also they stood by their low price guarantee and promptly refunded the difference plus 10% when I forwarded a link showing a competitors lower (slightly) price. Ill definitely use etrailer in the future. 719129

These are the best trailer tires money can buy, plain and simple. Put 35,000 miles into the last set. We have a 30 ft travel trailer. The last set with all those miles still had good tread but I don’t want to worry about tires in the middle of nowhere. 905743

Excellent customer service. I have asked Airstream dealer's service dept to help me withchanging my trailer tires almost two months ago. They kept telling me that it's on back order but never give me options. I am so lucky to find etrailer.com I Facebook message them and got an almost instant reply. I ordered the Goodyear Endurance tires and received the tires in a few days. Throughout this process they kept me posted and alert me when the tires are delivered. I purchased these tires for my boat and jetski trailers. I custom built a jetski trailer with surge brakes. I built it to toe at high speeds for long distance. The tires work great. The boat that weighs around 6000 lbs no longer sways and pulls the truck. Even behind my ram 3500 srw I could feel the boat. Now the boat stays solid behind the truck. Up to around 95mph. Every trailer I own now I buy these tires if it’s a option. My car hauler blew 3 1 year old tires hauling a old buick around 80 mph. I swapped to these and no more trouble. 831502

Like the Endurance tire a little better than the Goodyear Marathon. The Marathon is a good tire but the Endurance is a little better.Used to get a little fishtail sway for a second or two when I would pass and getting back into the right lane. But the endurance is a little stiffer and heaver tire and tracks beautifully. Really like the Endurance. 829790

Ask the Experts about this Goodyear Trailer Tires and Wheels

  • Recommended Wheel for ST225/75R15 Goodyear Endurance Tire on a 6,000 lb Travel Trailer
The correct Goodyear Endurance Tire part # 724857519 is the ST225/75R15 size that you are looking for. This has a load range of E (2,830 lbs at 80 psi) and a max speed of 87 mph just like what you currently have. For a wheel I recommend the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20539 which is a silver color, has the same weight rating, comes with a limited 2-year warranty, and is made here in the USA. According to the attached psi chart from Goodyear the max amount of pressure that this...

Trailer tires such as the Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 Radial # 724857519 do not absolutely have to be dynamically machine balanced the way passenger car tires do but you certainly can do this if you want to. A full-service tire shop will probably have the necessary equipment to do this. In most instances the benefit of dynamically balancing trailer tires will not be nearly as noticeable as it is on passenger vehicle tires since any vibration from the trailer tires is isolated from...

  • How To Gain Traction In Snow With ST225/75R15 Goodyear Tires
I do not recommend siping or cutting thin slits across the surface of the The Goodyear trailer tires like part # 724857519 because it could lead to a blow out eventually. Actually Goodyear designed the trailer tread with broken up ribs (compared to long continuous ribs) that let water escape to improve traction so you don't really need to modify the tread. • Recommended Tires to Replace 7.00-15LT Tires on Airstream Trailer
When an ST trailer tire blows it is typically the result of the user overloading the trailer (which overloads the tires), damaging them by hitting curbs and potholes, not running them at the psi rating on the sidewall, or exceeding the speed rating. If you stay within the capacities of your trailer tires they should wear at an even pace. The average lifespan really depends on how much you use them and how loaded they are. Since you have managed to keep the same tires for 12 years it sounds...

  • What is Weight Capacity of Load Range E Trailer Tire in Size ST225/75R15
With a Load E tire like the Goodyear Endurance part # 724857519 you would have a tire capacity of 2,830 lb which based on your correct match would put you a little under the max weight capacity of your trailer. That doesn't mean you are necessarily overloading the tires though as there's a very good chance your trailer isn't at it's max weight capacity.

Yes, the side walls on a load range E tire will be stronger than the sidewalls on load range D tire. However, just because it is a 5th wheel trailer does not mean you need the higher load range. I assume you have 225/75-15 tires as that is what you were looking at so if this is the case then a load range D will provide you with a 2,540 lb weight capacity per tire and a load range E will provide you with a 2,830 lb weight capacity per tire. Going from the tire size of 205/75-15 to 225/75-15 is a pretty common change for trailer wheels. There are two things you'll want to verify though. First is that your wheel is either 6 inches wide or 6-1/2 inches wide. Those two widths are the two widths that overlap between both tire sizes. Next is that you'll have a tire that's going to be 1.3 inches taller which means your fender clearance will be .65 inches less than what you have now. Normally this is not an issue at all. The larger diameter offers a negligible amount of better ride quality for the trailer since the larger the tire the less "affected" it is by smaller bumps.
