This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the tread on these Castle Rock radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Castle Rock tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.
Castle Rock radials are constructed with double steel belts and double nylon cords. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Castle Rock ST 205/75R14 Load Range C Radial Trailer Tire with 14-inch black liger aluminum wheel with a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. This tire and wheel assembly is going to be great for your RVs, campers and trailers. And the special trailer tire or ST Tire has sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads. And this is created specifically for trailers, and it's not intended for use on other vehicles. This radial tire is constructed with double-steel belts, and double nylon plys for increased durability.
And as you no doubt know, radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The nylon tread firming belt overlays are going to help prevent tread separation. And the tread wear indicator makes it easy to see the the tread depth of the tire. Now as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped here on our tire, this is an ST 205/75 R14, and the section width of this tire is 7.99 inches. And the outer diameter when fully inflated is 26.14 inches.
Now this is a Load Range C tire, meaning it has a six-ply rating, and the maximum load of this tire is 1,760 pounds at 50 PSI. And this also has a speed rating of L, indicating a maximum speed of 75 miles per hour. Now this sturdy aluminum wheel features this attractive liger series five spoke design in black as you can see here, and it features an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. This also has steel inserts in the lug nut wells to help keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub, preventing the holes from wearing down, and eliminating the need for constant re-tightening of the lug nuts. Now the dimensions of this rim beginning with the diameter measuring bead seat to bead seat, we are sitting right at 14 inches in diameter, and the width of this rim is five inches.
And as I mentioned, this has a bolt pattern of five on four and a half inches. And in case you don't know, the first number of in bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes, and then the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. Now the wheel capacity is 2,000 and 2,200 pounds. The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20.
The center cap is sold separately. If you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Now this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications. The tire itself meets the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard specifications. And the wheel meets SAE J1204 standards. Now one final note. This tire and wheel assembly Does come with complimentary roadside assistance for two years. So if your RV or trailer has a flat tire, simply call their helpline, and a technician will come, and change the flat for you. You can call that helpline 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year from anywhere here in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Awesome staff to work with and extremely fast delivery I would definitely buy from you again.
Matches other wheels perfectly and received it in a great time frame.
As described. This combo was a good price and close to the factory set up on my trailer. I do wish e trailer mounted rim/tires. As this combo was $100 less than the correct color rim and the matching tire that came factory on my ATC trailer, which E trailer does not sell as a set I would have recv'd them unmounted and than had the added expense of getting it mounted.
Purchased a new trailer recently and needed a spare. Etrailer had exact rim and tire to match. Very pleased.
Ordered 4 and 1 came with 2 slashes on it, i called and emailed they told me i had to go thru this warranty place, i filled out paper work and nothing was done for me. Use caution when you purchase tires from here because nothing will be done
Bailey at etrailer was very helpful and knowledgeable, made placing my order a breeze! Tire with rim matched exactly with the ones on my trailer. Thanks Bailey!
Great product that matched the ones on my trailer
I've had these for a year on my boat trailer and have nothing but good things to say about them.
Tire was great, wheel was great. Valve stem not so much. It started leaking air. I’m sure it was just a bad valve stem but I was broken down on 100 degree day because of a cheap valve stem.
Good price and quick delivery.
Matches the existing wheels and tires.
Quick service, and when the shipping was delayed by one day they were good with communicating with us.
Wheels arrived ready to go and were mounted without any issues. I sold the trailer a couple months after I bought these, so can’t speak to long-term life of tires, etc.
User-friendly website allowed me to order my product with ease and it was delivered within days. Great experience.
Got the tire and wheel a day early, in time for our desert trip.
Great looking tire and wheel and exactly what I needed for a spare.
Great fit for my husband’s trailer. Customer Service is absolutely amazing as well!
Excellent product. Excellent service! Quick shipping.. Truly appreciated. Thank you for being a beautiful company in every way possible!
