Video Transcript for Dexter E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System Installation

Today we're going to show you how to install the Dexter Axle E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System, part number K71-652-00. Here's what it's going to look like when we get it installed. As you can see we've replaced that solid steel equalizer with one that's got a really nice heavy duty rubber bumper in here. That's going to help to absorb a lot of the shock that we're going to feel going into the frame of our camper, and then up into the contents that we've got inside. This also helps to reduce any noise that we get from our suspension system. Let's face it, they're pretty noisy all the time, but with the brass bushings that we're now going to have in our spring eyes, and our lubrication points at each of our bolt, we're really going to be able to get this thing nice and quiet while we're headed down the road. This is going to include all the hardware that we need to do our tandem or triple-axle trailers, whatever combo you need.

As you can see, we've got our replacement bolts, and also shackles on each side, which are much heavier duty than the ones that we've had originally. Here you can see our factory equipped equalizer. You can see both of our springs are going to come up though the shackles, and they connect to that. This is going to keep equal spacing, and it also gives us a little bit of a pivot point back and forth here on this main bolt here. These do a great job of keeping the axles separate, keeping everything moving down the road.

They can be a bit noisy, and also they offer no shock absorption. Let's get these taken off. We're going to remove this bolt, this bolt, and this bolt. We can get our new ones in place. Now it's time to knock our old bushings out of our ends of our spring, or spring eye here. We're going to be replacing them with our new brass bushings.

You can see they're going to sit right in there. We'll do that for both of our spring eyes here. We'll also pull our front most bolt here. You can see our old bolts will work great as a driver to where we can drive those in if necessary. We'll bring that back up, and we're going to bring in one of our new bolts. As you can see, these are going to have a grease zerk in the end, and a small outlet there.

It's going to allow us to grease our pivot points here, and keep everything running nice and smooth, and nice and quiet. Then we'll thread one of our locking nuts onto the back side there, and just leave it loosely installed for now. We'll go up and take care of the front spring now. We can bring our new equalizers in, slide that in, and here we're going to use one of our silver bolts. On the back of that it's going to be one of our gold lock nuts. We can slide in one of our shackles at the bolts, they're already going to be there. Then we'll take our shackle for our other side, and that's going to slide on, and then put a lock nut on the backside. We've got that secure, let's get our other one taken care of. We'll slide our other side through now. You may have to, like we did here, drop one of your bolts, either the back or the front. We dropped this one out to give us just a little bit of room to drop the axle enough to get it lined up. Then, of course, that backing plate goes on, and then two more of our silver locking nuts. Now it's time to go through and secure all of our hardware. We'll go through and get all of our hardware torqued down. The torque specs you can find in your instructions. We'll also take care of our center bolt there. We have our fittings lubricated up here, that way we'll have a nice, smooth, quiet running system. We're going to clean up our grease zerks there, get our tires back on, and just going to do the exact same thing over on the other side of the trailer. With everything torqued down to specification that's going to complete our installation of the Dexter Axle E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System, part number K71-652-00. .

The installation is pretty straight forward, however with the trailer weigh and spring strengths it was quiet a lot of work. I have air tools and jacks to work with and it took about six hours. Didn't realize how bad my bushing were worn until it was apart. Camper is a 2013 with about 15000 miles and the plastic bushing were considerably worn. With E-Z flex installed, all the creaking noise is gone, tows a lot smother, still some chucking, but well worth the money and time. Great product and great service from etrailer. Thanks 267849

Ordered on Sunday it arrived on Friday and installed on Saturday went in easy, hardest part of this job is jack up the trailer. I used two jacks and lots of wooden blocks . All parts fit perfectly every thing was there no complaints. Going on the road next weekend to test the ride of my trailer, hope this will fix my rough riding trailer. It took me 5 hours to install this kit and adjust my brakes , I'm 60 years old so you can do this yourself 570169

Would have loved to write a great review as the product appears to be well built and I like the ability to lube all the spring shackles. Unfortunately one of the bolt patterns does not fit my trailer. It would help if ALL the bolt hole measurements would be displayed in one place - so that you would know prior to ordering if things would fit. 234003

So far so good. Survived the first 1000 miles since installation without any problems. The wet bolt system has quieted the suspension on the trailer considerably. No more low speed squeaks/squeals or groaning from suspension flex in tight turns and bumpy roads. The hard rubber baby buggy bumper pads between the opposing arms are holding up well and do absorb some of the road hazard shock rather than transferring the impact directly to the trailer frame and contents. Really big bumps still rearrange the contents in the back of the trailer, but everything rides nice otherwise. 385807

I installed this Dexter E-Z Flex om my Keystone Cougar in about 5.5 hours in my driveway. I also installed the complete wet-bolt kit at the same time. I have taken many trips since installing this, including a trip from Cali to Yellowstone and back, and I have to say the quality of the ride has improves so much that it is near perfect! The rough roads and pothole are handled so much easier and I have less fatigue at the end of each days drive. Getting under the rig to lube these has been very easy and keeps things smooth and quiet. Do this upgrade! You won't be disappointed! 323299

I think they will be great. They are installed and I will be traveling soon on the new suspension. Thank you etrailer for youyr good products RV manufacturers are totally missing the boat and have absolutely no regard to quality in regards to the cheap suspension parts they put into these trailers. It just does not make any sense to put such cheap bushings. As far as I am concerned the whole RV manufacturing industry are very inconsiderate of there retail customers. 229233

Replacement of original 10 year old equalizers was fairly easy except for the old bushings in the springs, it took a lot of beating. Did not follow the instructions to remove axles, did 1 side at a time. I did replace the straight grease zerks and installed 90 deg zerks, instructions said the zerks were 1/4 28 thread, that is wrong they are 6mm 100 pitch thread. Great product will be ordering more parts soon. 556086

About as simple a swap as you could expect. Tear off all your old stuff, throw all the new stuff on and voila! A couple of floor jacks, and 2 hrs max. Great time to swap out your junk Chinese wheel bearings too. No major ride change or anything, but at least I know the links aren't going to fail like the OEM ones did. See pic. 285667

We replaced the leaf springs and the equalizers at the same time with products from etrailer.com. The Dexter equalizers were much better than the stock product and easy to install. The leaf springs were exactly the same as those we could purchase locally and at a significantly reduced price. Well done etrailer. 501835

I put this set-up on both my tandem boat trailer and a 7,000# enclosed construction trailer. Prio to the boat trailer was experiencing a blow-out virtually every other trip. Thought I had a tire problem. After rebuilding the suspension system... Blow-outs are a thing of the past. Trailer tracks extremely well in curves at high speeds. On the construction trailer I had a spring eye bolt fall out after installing this kit. I have no idea how or why but I always give the trailer a look over any time I stop. Did a mcGyver to get it back to the shop where I installed a standard suspension bolt. Been going that way ever since... 269088

Some of the wet bolts dont lube well at all. But that was the case when new. Otherwise, all is good on both trailers. Still glad I made the upgrade.

The EZ Flex equalizers did everything as expected. The shipping for this kit was subpar. The hardware was not packaged and all the parts beat each other during the shipping process. Also, there was 2 packets of copper colored grease that got punctured during shipping (due to zero packing/bubble wrap) and that messed up the majority of the instructions. I contacted 3 different people with Etraier (Adam, George and Angela) and neither were apologetic to how I received my package. I did however receive a canned response of "without honest feedback from valued customers like you we would not know where we need to make improvements" and I was expecting just a little more from Etrailer. The level of customer service prior to buying is top notch. I will give them that. 436306

I found the hardware so much hardier then the original hardware. I read several articles about replacing the poorly equipped suspension hardware on campers that can leave you stranded and with a long camping trip coming soon I didn't want to take chances with the old suspension components and with the idea that the Dexter E-Z Flex system will help with smoothing the ride is why I went this way. Your sites reviews and installation videos were very helpful. My camper has LCI axles so I had to check through your reviews so make sure the E-Z Flex would work with my axles. I did find my answer and the E-Z Flex fit perfect. The directions that came with the E-Z Flex were only good for the torque settings. Your video was much more helpful. It took me longer then expected, mostly because I should of had heavier jacks and jack stands and had to improvise some. I haven't had the camper out on the road yet so I cannot comment on the ride, but it feels good knowing that I have a really good suspension under the camper now. Overall I am very pleased with the product and with your help selecting and installing it. 368934

After a year and 20,000 miles, this was one of the best upgrades in towing and ride on my 42' fifth wheel. It took out a lot of the small bumps that would open cabinet's and knock things over in the shelves. Another great advantage is the bronze bushings are greasable and do not squeak like the OEM plastic, the OEM bushings had around 3000 miles and we're already worn through, the bronze if kept greased will probably last the life of the trailer. 438995

I just opened the box and was disappointed to see that everything was just thrown in the box. Just looking at it it looks like some of the threads are damaged from the way everything is packaged. It will be a while before I will be installing this product. I want to say that the service from etrailers was outstanding!! From fast shipping and great price I couldn't be happier with etrailer. 475693

I was reading about suspension upgrades in an RV newsletter and I decided to check the Dexter EZ Flex out. After reading the reviews and viewing the installation videos on your website, I took some measurements and decided that these would work the best for my 2017, 28ft Pioneer Toy Hauler. It has tandem 4400# Dexter axles and springs and was a direct replacement for the stock equalizers. It took me 4hrs from the time I unpacked the parts to finishing the job. The installation video is right on and that made set up for the job pretty straight forward. Jackstands(4), a couple of 8t bottle jacks, air impact wrench/sockets, torque wrench, combination wrenches, lead hammer, grease gun, anti seize and some cribbing and you will be able to get the job done. The kit and parts are so much more robust than the stock hardware that comes with the trailer and should be much better than what came stock. I will report back once I get some miles on the road and tell you what I think of how it pulls and handles the bumps! 357303

This product exceeded my expectations, with a few hand tools an electric impact wrench and an alignment pry bar, installation was a breeze. Did one side in an hour tonight, will do other tomorrow night 246409

I installed the E-Z Flex Dexter K71-652-00 suspension system which was an easy afternoon task. Everything went together without any problems and was quite simple. We traveled on our first short trip of 650 miles with the new system and was great. The 30' KZ travel trailer road smoother and seem to handle better. I really recommend this system up-grade to all stock suspension systems with plastic bushings and steel equalizer. 355038

- K71-652-00
by:

The EZ Flex suspension system is so much more robust that the parts that were removed. Installation is pretty straight forward, however when doing it make sure you have jacks and stands to do the job. I did one side at a time it was pretty easy and took about 1.5 hours on each, all done on the driveway. I will give a further update when the time comes along to take the trailer out. This has got to give the trailer greater stability when towing. Customer support from etrailer is top notch and answered all my questions before I purchased the system. Thanks etrailer for your support, shipping was quick so there was not much wait time. 527486

etrailer processes failed. I ordered this product on a Wednesday, during the check out process, I purchased 2 day shipping so it should have arrived on Saturday. It arrived on Monday because etrailer doesn't include Saturday delivery on Saturday. I purchased the same part from a big online store on Thursday night and got it on Saturday for $20 more. Don't purchase anything from etrailer with 2 day shipping past Tuesday. Go with the 3 day shipping. Its the same delivery schedule and you save $18 on shipping. I will never use etrailer again! Go somewhere else! The device when on great and fit perfectly. The trailer already seems very stable. 399486

Excellent product, I bought these to replace the equalizers that came stock on a new 10,000 lb rated 2014 car hauler that is on the road every day . At the time we bought the equalizers from etrailer, the stock equalizers had already been replaced 3 times. 5 stars ......... well worth the money, easy installation, reduced maintenance would definitely recommend to anyone using a heavy duty trailer every day. 241219

- K71-652-00
by:

Bought this kit last year for a tandem axle car hauling trailer. The original equalizer and bushings were just wore out from normal use. The wear was creating lots of extra vibration and noise. Thought I would give this a try. I am beyond impressed. The trailer now tows and rides as good as one of my other trailers that has torsion suspension. Vibration from axle misalignment and rattles are gone! I am so impressed I have now purchased another kit for my 5th wheel camper. Have not had the 5th wheel out yet but my expectations are pretty high after the improvement I have experienced with the other trailer. Some would argue that since my camper has shocks this is redundant. My answer to that is, "shocks and springs have different jobs". Very easy to install. Only took 2.5 hours total for both sides. 600585

Where good.came in on time.ez install old ones where worn out.I have a 32ft Toy hauler.Toes a lot better now.I still have chucking.I have In stalled air ride pin box to get most of chucking out.Toes good now.I would recommend reflex. 642633

Awesome product two times thicker than the original parts. One less thing to think about when we go down the road 636027

- K71-652-00
by:

Very noticeable difference if tire pressure on trailer and tow vehicle are proper -- not over inflated. Relatively inexpensive upgrade for rough ride. Good service 634407

- K71-652-00
by:

My trailer was due for some maintenance cuz everytime I was returned when the axles twist there's a lot of popping crack on going on this is when you know you need to change out the bushings and shackles. But with these pins you can keep the pins greased. I have 6540 lbs inside trailer all the time. So now the trailer rides a little. Plus the it quiet things up when I now turn. 633944

- K71-652-00
by:

Not sure why RV trailers all seem to come with a cheap suspension with no way to grease moving parts. We replaced the stock suspension items with this Dexter after market kit prior to embarking upon a 12,000+ mile RV trip through Canada. The axles are Dexter as well, but they make these kits for other brands I believe. Now with grease fittings at all moving suspension points, we can provide proper maintenance. 629161

- K71-652-00
by:

Huge improvement, 32 foot holiday rambler fifth wheel towed much better. Eliminated noise coming from the axles. Reduced the vibration to the hitch on the truck tremendously. Gives me peace of mind knowing I can lube the shackle bolts. 623231

- K71-652-00
by:

Dexter EZ Flex and Wet Bolt kit arrived as scheduled. Excellent packaging. All items were in package as listed. Easy installation with several tools. Overall a great experience from guidance on selection (thanks Diana H) to full install. Ready for my first 2019 trip. 612668

- K71-652-00
by:

Didn't think these would make that much of a difference but they did. Really cuts down on the trailer being rearranged before you arrive at the destination. I was considering getting the shock absorbers as well, but these do the trick. 607940

- K71-652-00
by:

I can honestly tell you I wouldn't be without it. The peace of mind alone made every cent a great investment. Prior to the installation, drawers and cabinet doors would rattle open, magnets came off the fridge, a picture came off the wall and anything not screwed down had a tendency to move around. I visit the same campground regularly, using the same route so I have a reasonable baseline from which to draw the following conclusion. You may wish to think it's my driving, but I assure you it's not. Since fitting the Dexter equalizer, and the wet bolt kits with the bronze bushes, the ride is noticeably improved. Everything stays put, the coach tracks dead straight and it's a real pleasure to pull. 604304

- K71-652-00
by:

Parts look good in box...have used them before and was satisfied then as well so not expecting any different outcome. 595524

- K71-652-00
by:

I have not used these dampening type equalizers before, but the idea seems good to me. I mostly purchased this kit for the ability to grease the pins in equalizer and in the spring shackles. The brass bushing are also and good upgrade over the nylon type bushings. Replacing a standard type dexter equalizer that has worn both the pins and egged the holes in the equalizer. 593759

ordered on tuesday. on my step thursday afternoon. 589431

Product was shipped fast and arrived in good condition. Looking forward to installing the EZ flex system. This suspension system is well over twice the size of original factory system and should last a lifetime. 577212

tightened the suspension up, smoother over the bumps. Love it....Installation is not that hard provided you have a good heavy jack and the right tools... installed the upgrade in about 2 hours, using air tools and a good floor jack.. 569105

This was an exact replacement for the old E-Z Flex system on my 2006 5th wheel. It was a perfect fit and easy to install. The instructions were very helpful also. We bought this rv used 4 years ago, but as far as I know the suspension I changed had been on there 12 years. I tried to grease the old system, but most of the zerks were too stopped up to take grease. It didn't look like it had ever been greased, and most of the bushings were worn badly. Even still that speaks for endurance, and that's what I need since wife and I are full time RVers. These are before and after pictures. The camper tracks better and rides much more smoothly. Thanks E trailer! 567823

- K71-652-00

I've not actually towed on this product yet as I only just installed it. The product is solid and easy to fit with clear instructions that make installation easy. I chose to replace the leaf springs at the same time. Like others have mentioned in reviews, the packing isn't just terrible, it is completely absent. The heavy contents are just tossed in a box and while that is bad enough, it presents a significant risk to the grease fittings on the EZ-Flex unit. Dexter (not etrailer) need to get that sorted out. I'd have given 5* if it wasn't for that issue. 565951

- K71-652-00

Check your springs and replace them if they have lost their arch... Adding the EZ Flex is the only way to go ! A greasable suspension is great ! 562385

etrailer made this whole process as easy as possible. Chose the 3 to 5 day shipping got it in three days. The package was intact all the parts were there and the instructions were very good. I even went on the products website and checked out their installation videos. Those were also very helpful. As usual etrailer took good care of me. To steal a quote “I’ll be back” 546367

- K71-652-00

High quality parts. A real nice upgrade for any camping trailer. Lubrication ability is a real nice feature. No more groans and squeaks. 544702

- K71-652-00
by:

I received what I order on time. However, the shipping box was a little worse for wear. The internal box and containers had split open spilling nuts and studs all over the place. Luckily none of the loose parts got outside of the shipping box. I'm not sure if you could ever pack a box that could withstand the odd occasional bad shipping experience. With that said, the ordering and phone support at etrailer was excellent. 541577

EZ Flex was an EZ install. Paired with Moryde crossbar system is a big improvement over stock to suspension. etrailer rocks!! 538915

The Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System is very good it make pulling my trailer a lot better, it has help the way my trailer go down the road for the better. The hrandest part was waiting for the part to get to me ,they when in reel E-Z . if I get any other trailer I'm going to get a set to go on the trailer . Thank You for all that you done to help me get the right parts. 528940

- K71-652-00
by:

Product was delivered on time and all parts in the box. Install took about 3.5 hours. I put this product on my 26 foot travel trailer, greatly improved the smooth ride and eliminated a lot of road noise. 521245

- K71-652-00
by:

Fast shipping, easy install and overall ride quality is definitely better. I think this kit is a great buy for any camper. Lots of moving parts with a bunch of weight on the suspension. I was surprised to see the amount of wear and tear on the factory bolts and bushings. This kit comes with everything you need. The “wet” bolts I feel have the potential to be the saving grace on your suspension. 516751

- K71-652-00
by:

Install was fairly easy. However my trailer has the "Correct Trac" system which is really large washers on the spring hangers. This made it so the wet bolts were to short. I ordered longer wet bolts and I will see if they will work 498492

For a triple axle trailer we have part # K71-656-00 which is 5-5/8" long, and part # K71-657-00 which is 7-3/4" long. I have attached some installation and...

  • Recommended Cushioned Equalizers to Replace Dexter 13-10 Equalizers
  • The 13-10 equalizer is equivalent to the Triangular Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double-Eye Springs - 6-1/16" Long - 9/16" Center Hole # TREQ310. If you go with the Dexter E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00 they will work very well but will lower your trailer by about 1 inch. The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 3K to 6K # LC279687 will also work and will do the same.

  • Recommended Suspension Upgrade For Tandem Axle System On 2017 Coachmen Clipper 21FQ
  • For your suspension upgrade, I recommend the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00 or the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 3K to 6K # LC279687. The Dexter system uses a rubber bushing to help absorb shock and the Lippert system uses a similar rubber core. The benefit of the Dexter system is you can see the bushing so you can tell when it is worn and needs replacing. The benefit of the Lippert system...

  • The Suspension Kit for Tandem-Axle Trailers - 1-3/4" Wide Double Eye Springs # AP233 is the standard suspension kit. We also have the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00. • Can E-Z Flex Rubber Suspension System Work w/ Wide Trax Trailer Suspension
  • I have a possible solution for you, but unfortunately the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System such as the 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00, will not work with the Wide Trax suspension on your trailer. The axles on a Wide Trax system are spaced further apart and the required equalizer components are significantly larger than the E-Z Flex Systems. A much larger equalizer like the 14-5/8" Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers, part # LC314336 may be the correct length. You will want to...

  • Replacement Suspension For 2014 Forest River Fifth Wheel
  • We have the replacement suspension parts you need for your 2014 Forest River Fifth Wheel. The largest capacity springs we offer that have the eye-to-eye length you need are part # SP-111275. These measure 25-1/4 inches eye-to-eye. These are a 5-leaf spring and are designed for 6,000-lb capacity axles. Additional leaves in the springs will provide more stability as you mentioned. The 7,000-lb leaf spring we offer, part # SP-198275 measures 24-7/8 inches long eye-to-eye. I have attached...

  • Does the Trailer Height Change when Using EZ Flex or Equa-Flex Equalizers
  • The E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00 is designed to fit in place of a specific equalizer, # TREQ104, which is 2 inches tall. When used to replace this equalizer or another with similar dimensions there is no height gained or lost. Adding height or reducing it cannot be achieved by just changing the equalizers. It would require replacing all of the suspension hangers as well to raise or lower the trailer equally and keep the suspension level. The comparable...

  • Cushioned Equalizer Recommendation to Replace Equalizer thats 6 inches Long
  • I have a great equalizer solution that is cushioned that will fit as a replacement for your 6 inch long equalizers but not from Lippert. Instead you'll want the EZ Flex Equalizer part # K71-652-00 which has a width range of 5-1/4 inch to 6-1/4 inch so it would work great with your 6 inch long equalizers. The width range is really the most important factor and since that checks out with this kit it would fit and work well.

  • Comparing Effects of Tandem Axle Shock Kits vs. Cushioned Equalizers Travel Trailer
  • In terms of bang-for-the-buck, I would suggest the cushioned equalizer option over a shock kit for your tandem-axle Surveyor 220 travel trailer. You would need two shock kits to go that route whereas you would need only one equalizer kit. Also, the effects from the equalizer tend to be more consistent across varying trailer weights while the shocks tend to do their best when you are closer to your maximum load capacity. Shocks like # LC281281 will do more good for large bumps while...

  • Replacement Suspension Parts for 2015 Jayco White Hawk with Dexter Axles
  • The largest equalizers we have are the 14-3/4-inch Dexter # K13-142-02 and the Lippert Equa-Flex cushioned equalizers # LC314336 that are 14-5/8-inches. These Lippert rubberized equalizers replace the standard equalizers on your tandem-axle trailer's double-eye leaf spring suspension. The rubber cores absorb road shock. Both of these feature a 9/16-inch center bolt hole. I linked for you our main page for trailer suspension parts including shackle straps and bolts as well as a helpful...

  • Could Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizer Replace Morryde CRE 3000
  • The Morrydy CRE3000 is a similar setup to the EZ Flex setup so there wouldn't be any problem going from one to the other. It would just be a matter of picking out the correct setup based on the dimensions of your current equalizers. You are going to have to measure your current equalizers to find the correct one. The part # K71-653-00 is a replacement for a 7-3/4 inch equalizer and the part # K71-652-00 is a replacement for a 5-5/8 inch equalizer. You will need to measure the dimensions...

  • Upgraded Equalizer Kit to Replace 6-1/16 Inch Long Triangular Equalizers on Tandem Axle Trailer
  • To upgrade your existing # TREQ310 equalizers, you can use the Dexter E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00. While at rest, the upgraded equalizers have a center to center length of 5-5/8 inches, but with deflection can measure between 5-1/4 inches - 6-1/4 inches. While the resting length of the equalizer is shorter than your existing equalizer, the length difference is not great enough that the upgrade kit # K71-652-00 wouldn't fit. This upgrade kit # K71-652-00...

  • Recommended Trailer Suspension Enhancement on 2017 Grand Design 30 Travel Trailer
  • The E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00 will fit any system just like an equalizer regardless of the bracket, so this will be a good upgrade to take some of the bounce out of your trailer as it will absorb that shock. The shocks will assist to absorb more and won't be mounted to the area where the hanger protrudes from the frame, so there shouldn't be any alignment issues. Another option is to use the Timbren Trailer Suspension...

  • Replacement Equalizers for EZ-Flex Suspension
  • Thank you for the photo; due to the damage of the equalizer on your E-Z Flex Suspension System # K71-652-00 what you need to do is replace that equalizer. If just one is damaged you can replace it with a single Replacement 5-5/8" Equalizer for E-Z Flex # 013-143-03 although if the other side is showing wear I recommend replacing both, which is part # K71-654-00. • Recommended Cushioned Equalizers for 2019 Forest River 242 SLC

If the equalizer width is longer, then you will want to use # K71-653-00 instead which has a width range of 7-1/4 inches to 8-1/4 inches.
