Today we're going to be taking a look at part number 20118. This is the Tow Ready 5-Pole Trailer Connector Cover. This is a protective cap for your electrical plug. It's going to work on the trailer or vehicle end. It helps prevent problems caused by corrosion. It's made from a nice rubber construction. It's going to feature some grips here on the cap.
That way you can easily remove the cap from the plug when you're ready to make your connection. On this end, it's going to feature a slot. This fits over the end of the connector for a nice, secure fit. Once you have that placed on, you just loop this over to cover up the connection points. The amount of room that we have from the closest point of the cover to the closest point on that mounting slot, it looks like it's going to give us about 2-1/8".
