Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Surface-Mount Light
Surface-mount lights install flat against the surface of the trailer, so a hole does not need to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number STL002RFB. This is the itronics 1 LED trailer light. The oval trailer light is going to serve 3 functions. It's going to work as your stoplight, sail light, and turn signal light. It's going to feature a sonically sealed waterproof design when it comes to the housing and the lens unit, so it is a submersible trailer light. The 1 series is going to provide a bright light using a single diode, unlike other LED lights that feature a multi-diode design.
It's going to use durable surface mount technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board. That system is going to better withstand shock and vibration. It's also going to allow for improved heat distribution. That LEDs are going to make great replacements for incandescent lights. They're going to last a lot longer.
They're going to burn brighter. They're going to be much more efficient, and you don't have to worry about replacing the bulbs, and you don't have to worry about inaudible 00:48 filaments. The lens and the housing on this unit's going to be made from a poly-carbonate material, we're going to have the red lens with the black housing. This is a surface mount installation with the built-in flange here on the backside. Your hardware is not included. It's going to feature a 3-wire pigtail, so the white's going to be for your ground, black is going to be for tail lights, and red wire is going to be for your stop and turn signals.
It is department of transportation compliant. If we take the measurement of the light face, just measuring the lens portion. Going in this direction, we're looking at about 6 1/2", and going this direction we're looking at about 2 1/4". Take a measurement overall, including the flange, we're looking at about 7 1/2", and about 3 1/4". The mounting holes on this unit are going to separated on center, going this direction by 2 3/4", and then going this direction our mounting holes are going to be separated on center by about 7". It's going to contain 1 LED, or 1 diode.
The power draw at 12.8 volts for the stop and turn signals, 0.25 amps. For the tail lights, 0.007 amps. Itronics is going to put a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. We're going to go and hook it up to our external power source. That way, you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll simply make our connections here. You can see here, it contains 1 LED. Sends out a nice, consistent signal. This is the tail light function. Then when we apply our brakes, you can see how that illuminates for a stronger signal output. It's going to do that same thing when we activate our turn signal. That's going to do it for today's review of part number STL002RFB.

I have used many of the Optronics LED lights. Good brightness, good prices, seem fairly durable. These were going on the back corners of a hitch cargo carrier.
Just be aware that this is called a surface mount, but has the wires out the back. You will need a hole in the panel to route wires, or a spacer to lift off the surface. I wanted a true surface mount with wires out the side of the light. I made it work. No issues with the light, just need the catalog listing edited to be clear.

Took a while to have a work basket with headache rack built for my Honda Pioneer 500 which is the reason I purchased these GREAT stop/turn lights.
These lights are perfect. Take abuse and vibration with no problems! Super easy to mount and bright as I've seen.

These lights were OE on my Loadrite trailer purchased in summer 2020. I use the trailer to haul my boat at the end of the season and launch it at the beginning. So it's been in the water 4 times. The passenger side died after one dunk. And the drivers failed after 3.
I'm probably crazy for replacing the lights with the same part.

Lights worked perfect for my flatbed light upgrade,great price and this company has a nice easy to use website, i only wish they came with a gasket to go between the light and the mounting surface , but with that being said not all builds need to be water tight so i still guve it five stars

I ordered both the RVSTLB0060 and the RVSTLB0061. My only disappointment with the RVSTLB0061 was the LED module was not attached to the frame like the RVSTLB0060. Luckily, I had two small sheet metal screws I could use to secure the LED to the frame mount.
My installation was on a 2016 Rockwood A212HW. The OEM lights were the Optronics incandescent version. RVSTLB0060/61 are direct replacements except for the odd (offset) drill pattern used during factory assembly (they did not use all the Optronic predrilled holes). OEM mounting screws were reused but I added a bead of glue to the threads to help secure over time. Note the factory uses a good bit of RTV silicon on the top portion of the light frame to help hold in place and fit the slight curve of the body.

- Is Flange Available Separately for Optronics ONE LED Trailer Tail Light?The flange is not available separately on the ONE LED Trailer Tail Light # STL002RFB so you are going to need to replace the entire unit, though as you mentioned it is quite affordable and I'm sure your horse feels terrible about the damage.

It doesn't look like we have any replacement Bargman lens for this style so the only option we have for you is to replace the light entirely, and for that I recommend checking out the Optronics...
