Specs:
Recessed-mount trailer lights install with a grommet, which is often sold separately. These lights extend past the trailer surface and require a hole for installation. If replacing a light, you can utilize the pre-existing hole. If installing a new light, you will need to cut a hole or use a mounting bracket (sold separately) to complete the installation.

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number 30-84-529. This is the Bargman Recessed, Double Tail Light with a Marker Light, 84 Series. The two-light fixture has one red tail light and one marker light for your trailer or RV. The red light is going to function as a combination of brake, tail and turn signal light. The additional red insert over here is going to function as a clearance or side-marker light. It's got the stylish black base with the rounded corners for a nice, sleek design. The tail light can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Here on the back side it's going to feature 16-gauge power and ground wires. These are all included. Internally, it's going to feature a J-slot bayonet socket for a dependable, flicker-free operation. This is Department of Transportation compliant so it meets FMVSS and CMVSS 108 requirements. To go over the overall dimensions real quick, it's going to give us an overall length of about 9-13/16", an overall width, measuring from outer edge to outer edge, of 6-15/16" and then the overall thickness is going to be right around 2". This is a recessed mount so the portion that's going to be sticking out of the mount application is going to be from the bottom of this lip right here to the top of the light. Since it is a recessed mount, the cutout dimensions are going to measure 5-1/2" wide by about 8-7/16" long.
The tail light bulb type is 2057 double filament and then the marker light bulb type is 1156 single filament. You can see here that it's going to have two mount holes on each side as well as one on the ends here, on each end. The distance that we have between the mount holes going this direction is going to measure 4-1/4, going this direction is going to measure about 9-1/4 and then going this direction, straight across, center-on-center, is going to be about 6-1/4" We're going to go and hook this up to our external power source. That way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights.
The white wire's going to be our ground wire so we'll go ahead and make that connection. The black wire's going to be for our stop and turn signal and then the green wires are going to be for the tail lights. As you can see, this is going to be the tail light function, sends out a nice, consistent signal and then when we apply our brakes you can see how that one illuminates for a brighter signal. It's also going to function as our turn signal, as well. That's going to do it for today's review of part number 30-84-529. This is the Bargman Recessed, Double Tail Light with the Marker Light. .

The product is a perfect match and works great.
This is the first time I used etrailer. Easy to navigate website, good prices and customer service. The part was for a 20 year old cargo trailer and was an exact match! Amazing!
The light was received promptly and was exactly as described. Good Job.
The lights I ordered were as expected and arrived within two days of ordering, they were a perfect replacement for the old, malfunctioning units on my Wells Cargo trailer. I would do business with these guys any time.
Tail lights shipped quickly and received in perfect shape. Are the exact ones I needed and as explained on website. If I need another trailer part will go to etrailer.com FIRST. Great job! Thanks.
One of my light casings is cracked, other than that. Ok
The light was fine but I just needed the lens. I did not see an option for just the lens so I had to buy the whole light kit!

We bought or 5th wheel new and I never liked the looks of the back. I figured out it was the taillights that were the only thing I didn’t like about the look of the rear of the trailer, they looked cheap. And they are, etrailer sells the same light for less then $xx. Out original taillights started to fall apart after a couple years. I installed these new LED taillights and love them and think they look great at night! I guess I have a think about taillights. Highly recommend these lights.

Finally, a quality replacement for RV Tail Light--92 Series. This surface mounted LED light installs easily after removing the series 92 light. It completely covers the screw holes used for the old style fixture. It’s at least 10 times brighter, or at least it looks that way. Installation was easy. Remove the lens from the old unit and then the screws holding it to your trailer. (Note: many units are surrounded with a bead for caulking, normally white or clear. Use a razor blade around the edges to release the old unit) Once the old units released just connect the new taillight and using stainless steel screws attach the new unit. I also sealed the new unit with a bead of clear silicone caulk. FYI – This unit does not provide a license plate light or means of attaching a license plate. Looks factory installed when you are done. Pictures are old tail light and new installation

I highly recommend this product, and will definitely purchase all my lighting needs from etrailer.com Thanks guys for an awesome product!!!

A year ago I needed to replace the bulb style tailights on my truck camper, since they were no longer bright. I bought these from etrailer and was very impressed on how good the quality was for such affordable price. The installation was easy and they are bright and have performed flowless. Thanks etrailer.

I wanted the 3 light set up for my f150 2005 flatbed project. This was a rare find for candescent bulbs and amber and white and red. I made a slight modification because of my F150 two bulb system double filament by removing the single bulb that came with the lamps and taking the socket and bulb from the old f150 and installing it into the amber section to cover blinkers and brakes on the double bulb. They work and look great. The etrailer staff answered my email question and alerted me to the f150 combo system and I was able to solve the incompatibility. Attached marker lights to wood so ran a ground wire with a ring terminal to the post. Had to enlarge the opening for the 1/4” post to accommodate the biggest ring terminal I could find and get a coupler and extension post to make it through the 3/4” pine. The lights recessed into slots I rotozipped out.

The 20 year old Bargmann 30-84-527 incandescent lamps were getting weak and were prone to blowing bulbs. I replaced them with these new LED units for reliability and improved visibility. The new light units are slightly larger than the old units. Because there are so many high profile vehicles on the road now, I also added a pair of Optronics STL264RB Fusion LED Combination Tail Light Bars for Trailers Over 80" Wide - Submersible - Red/Clear Lens as high level stop/tail/turn/reverse lamps to improve visibility in traffic. Photos show 1. New Bargmann (left), Old Bargmann (right) and Optronics lights, turned off. 2. New Bargmann (left), Old Bargmann (right), tail lights on. 3. New mounting holes are wider than old. I re-used the existing bottom mounting hole. 4. All LED brake lights

I’m very happy with these LED tail lights. Bought them to replace the ones that came on the trailer. They are bright and seem to be of high quality. They were easy to install. The only slight drawback is that it’s a bit tricky to get the wires to lay flat enough against the light to get it to sit flush with the back of the trailer. But in the end it worked fine. I would recommend these as a good replacement for older, smaller, incandescent tail lights.
