Today, we're going to be taking a look at the equalizer for one and three quarter inch wide double eye springs. This is going to connect double eye springs on dual or triple axle trailers. The spring would attach to the end of the equalizer with shackle straps. Shackle straps are sold separately. Then the rear leaf spring attaches directly to the equalizer. Then the equalizer will be suspended from a center hanger.
That's sold separately as well. If you need anything you can find them right here at etrailer.com. This unit's going to transfer the load inside the impacts from one axle to another by permitting movement between the axles. Really helps when it comes to distributing the weight evenly, and it's going to result in a smoother ride for the trailer. These two slots right here have the bushings in them, so the bushings are included. This is going to fit one and three quarter inch wide double eye leaf springs with nine sixteenth inch spring eyes.
The center bolt hole diameter is nine sixteenths of an inch, and then the left and right bolt hole diameters are nine sixteenths of an inch as well. The way this would be positioned would kind of like this. From the center of these holes to the center of this hole, going at a straight line measurement, so straight across. If I lay a ruler down there, that's going to give us a measurement, center on center, of about six and three quarters of an inch, and then the height that we would have from this hole going straight up, to the center of the center hole, straight line just the height would be around two inches, again, center on center. That's going to do it for today's look at the equalizer for one and three quarter inch wide double eye springs.

I ordered two this for my trailer, after receiving them I noticed one was defective. I called etrailer and spoke with Donna, she took care of it right away. Very happy with the parts and etrailer's customer service. 571915
The equalizers fit great, and the pin holes are the correct size to accept bronze bushings! I have found that some other places sell equalizers with oversize holes that will not hold bronze bushings. I appreciate you selling good parts that are made properly ! 552556

Although not shipped as fast as our last order, I received almost daily update on status of shipment and was advised when your supplier provided you the pivots I ordered. They arrived quickly thereafter exactly as described. 84172
I've been looking for a equalizer like this for the longest time. My trailer had a stamp steel version of this with only 1 difference. The center hole is a 1in bolt and not a 9/16th. But that can be easily fixed on the trailer. 82609
