14-3/4" Long curved equalizer connects double-eye springs on tandem- or triple-axle trailers and allows for enough movement between the axles to keep the ride smooth and the load undisturbed. Center bolt hole is 9/16" in diameter.

Today we're taking a look at the curved equalizer for one and three quarter inch wide double eye springs. This unit connects double eye springs on dual or triple axle trailers. The springs attach to the ends of the equalizer with shackle straps. Shackle straps are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. Then the equalizer is suspended from a center hanger. Center hangers not included either.
If your trailer is not already equipped with one, you'll need to get one and you can find those right here at etrailer.com as well.Once installed this unit's really designed to transfer, load and sudden impacts from one axle to another by permitting movement between the axles. It's designed to distribute weight evenly, which results in a smoother ride for your trailer and whatever you're hauling on or in your trailer.Again, it fits one and three quarter inch wide, double eye leaf springs with 9/16 inch spring eyes. The center bolt hole diameter is 9/16 and the left and the right bolt hole diameter is 9/16.We're just going to take a look at a few measurements real quick. The measurement we get overall edge to edge measures, looks to be about 15 and 5/8, maybe 15 and 11/16 of an inch, right in that area. Then from the center of one hole to the center of the other hole, that gives a measurement of about 14-3/4 inches.Also, if we put a straight line across here, so I'm going to put a straight line splitting these holes directly down the center and I'm going to measure from the top of that line to the center of that hole there, and that gives a measurement of about two inches.This is made from a nice durable cast steel construction powder coated finish, keeps it safe from rust and corrosion.That's going to do it for today's look at the curved equalizer for one and three quarter inch wide double eye springs..

Exact duplicates of the stock Dexter equalizers. Removed nylon bushings and replaced with steel bushings with wet bolts.

Order these equalizers for a 42 inch spread axle. Etrailer has excellent customer service. I ordered these first a couple of months ago there was only one in stock. The company notified me right away to let me know the second equalizer was on back order. I chose to cancel the order but never did get around to replacing the parts, so I ordered them again. Etrailer shipped shipped on the same day and received them within 3 or 4 days. these come with a nylon bushings already installed so it's a simple change out to install them. I have gone to a wet-bolt--greasable bolt system, so these should last a lot longer than the originals.

New equalizers are still doing fine. Converted to wet greasable bolts, so wear on suspension seems to be minimal.
