We installed the scissor jacks last year. One was in one direction and the other one winds in the opposite direction. Never saw anything like that before ever. Then when lowering the jack for the first time it folded like nothing we have seen before. I work hard for my money and the scissor jacks purchased were not built well at all (they didn’t even make it thru the first use)

The jacks themselves have worked great, they keep the trailer level and solid during our concession events. I just had them mounted to the trailer so I don't have to put them in and out at each event. The jack handles leave a bit to be desired so I use a 20v drill w/ a 3/4" socket to run them up and down.

Beware buyers. etrailers commitment to excellence is no longer priority 1. Products have taken a downturn along with their song n' dance customer service, especially Carol.

Easy to mount jack
Closes to a very
small size
Load and unload without the trailer connected.

The jacks are still working great. Thanks again!

eTrailer processed the order quickly and I had the jacks within 3 days....thank you eTrailer. They were really easy to install and operate flawlessly. I was concerned that they threading would be too fine and the jacks would take forever to raise and lower, but I was wrong. They operate smooth and fast with no issues.

If you need to stabilize the back end of your trailer I would certainly recommend these.

if I had to rate this upgrade in difficulty one being the easiest five being the hardest, it would be a one. Super simple. Take the nuts and bolts off your old hardware and install the upgrade in its place. I read some of the reviews were people were annoyed with the counter clockwise rotation and the bolt sticking out too far. I really didn’t see a problem with either. I know you’re not supposed to use a drill to extend and retract these but I always have. I suppose as long as you’re not torquing the heck out of the adjustment screw you shouldn’t have any problems. I always put a small flat 2 x 6 piece of wood under the foot of each one of these. It seems to add quite a bit of stability.

Perfectly! Keep em clean with a coat of lubricant & theyll serve you well!

Slow on the shipping, they waited a day before sending it out. Really should get with someone about how to properly pack up heavy items, one of the boxes broke open and one of the jacks was poking out of the shipping box. Already got them on my 1974 Avion, and they work great. Hopefully they do not bend like the originals did. Nice heavy construction, too bad the crank handle has a cheesy grip on the inner hand hold. Used my Dewalt drill to power them down and back up without issue though. Also do not forget to lube up the jackscrew with some grease. I like to use Reese teflon ball grease, since it is waterproof and lasts a good while. Wish they offered a kit to motorize them as I prefer this type of jack to the drop arm style. Lifted my 8000 pound Avion off the ground without issue with the help of the wife on the other side

Bought these to replace a ruin one on the camp. Went on super easy, plenty of area to bolt to. Works like a champ and is actually a bit beefier than the original. E-trailer got it to me quick.

Product well made but, does not come/have mounting instructions or mounting hardware. Cannot return item. Item setting in garage while looking for a way to use.

Bought 2 to level our truck camper. Jacks are rugged enough to hold truck and camper once lifted but they did need help from the trucks jack to lift to desired level. Not enough lifting power for this application

These jacks are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailers weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use these jacks to lift your trailer or RV. Doing so will exceed the capacity of these jacks. The support capacity per jack is 6,500 lbs and the combined support capacity is 13,000 lbs, but please note that these are not for lifting.

Installed easily and seem more rugged than the rusted ones I was replacing

Working out great.

Great value-updated my scissor jacks on my 24 foot trailer

The Jack itself works fine... Just be aware these are left handed threads. So the rest of the jacks on my trailer, you turn them clockwise to lower them, but this replacement jack turns counterclockwise to lower it. Just be aware of that, I had no idea they could be either way.

Perfect fit. Easy to install. Well pleased. Thank you etrailer.

Just a little grinding on one bolt hole to get it to fit the frame brackets

I was happy with these. I picked a heavier duty one than what was on my travel trailer. I was the same mounting pattern and foot print. The install went nice and easy.

By weight alone, two of the removed OEM jacks weighed what one of the jacks I just received weighs. The Quality it great and they fit right where the previous jacks fit. The Travel Trailer feels more stable with the new jacks and I can now get a little help when minor level is required when parked on uneven surfaces. I should have done this right away, not after coming back from a 7000 mile trip. The OEM jacks would twist if I put too much load on them and the new jacks do not have that problem.

Jacks more better than original jacks. OEM Jacks barely supported my trailer, but after installing the new jacks in all four corners my Travel Trailer is more steady than it ever was.

Easy install , a little heavier than I had which turned out better. I am thinking about changing the other 2 jacks because of happiness with this product.

Good quality replacement scissors jack that matched the fit of the old jack!

Better than the original scissor jacks!

All 4 Jacks arrived as stated. I Have placed them on the RV. They are doing as described. Very Happy. This the 2nd time I have ordered Stabilizer Jacks. These are for a second Trailer. I also have quick Jack Releases for the Jacks as to be easily removed for storage. I will continue to order again from this company.

Great I am always on the move and they make it so much easier. A lot better than my original Jacks.
WhoisMe58 - 10/18/2020

I've used these before and they give great service if used as they should be. people need to realize they are not 10 ton jacks and won't hold together if misused. They are far better then the stabilizers that just contact the ground without any real support.

The help I received on the telephone was excellent. The product I received was better than I expected. Much better than the junk that came with the RV. I was concerned with the measurements but it fit perfectly and a simple task to install. I have made several purchases over the last few years and have never been disappointed. These are the go to guys!!!

The jacks worked excellent and will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing parts for their RV... I will be buying more things for my camper soon

These jacks are outstanding!! I will be ordering two more to replace the others because these are a much better quality than the one that came on the camper. They were also a breeze to install.

  • Scissor Jack Recommendation for a 1996 Coleman Pop Up Camper
The Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979002 would work very well on your 1996 Coleman Pop-up Camper. The might be larger than what you have on your trailer now, but they won't be so large that they would look out of place or be overkill. They would just simply do a better job stabilizing your trailer than you old style. I attached a review video for you to check out as well. The overall length of the jacks when fully collapsed is 26 inches, and the overall height is 4-3/4 inches.

  • Will the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, Fit a 1999 Coleman Pop Up Camper
The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, will most likely fit your 1999 Coleman Santa Fe pop up. But to be sure you will want to determine if the 3-1/2 inch by 7-1/4 inch base on the jacks is the appropriate size for where you want to mount the jacks. The frame does not have to be exactly this size to accommodate the jacks but you will want enough surface area contact between the jack and frame to safely use the jacks.

According to Husky, the Leveling Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, are designed for recreational vehicle leveling only and should not be used for lifting or changing tires. It sounds like you just want to get your RV level so the combined 13,000 pound capacity of each jack (6,500 pounds each) should work well for this application. Husky also states that only the included hand crank should be used to raise/lower the jacks, so I cannot recommend using any power tools to operate them. I went...
