Video Transcript for Review of Trailer Valet Trailer Jack - Electric Jack Bolt-On - TV63FR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Trailer Valet Essentials Electric Jack. This is a simple bolt-on application with an impressive 18 inches of lift, and it's rated for 2,500 pounds capacity. So folks, with this Jack, I've got a demo battery box over here. I've got it plugged in with the included seven way plug.

So that's what comes with it standard. And I wanna be able to just kind of show you the ins and out of the jack real quick as far as up and down. (machine whirs) So you can see it goes pretty quick. (machine whirs) And it's gonna automatically shut off when it gets bottomed out. So not too loud, it's very quiet, there's no cranking, loud gears, and those kind of stuff like some of the other ones out there on the market.

So it also has this nice built-in LED light, if I can get the right switch here in the front. There we go. So not super, super bright, as most jack lights aren't. But what they're designed to do is kinda light up the coupler and those kind of things to make sure you're able to help attach that to the ball in the dark. So very nice feature.

The buttons and everything on top there are all weatherproof. It is a sturdy design. So you've got your on off for the light switch here. And as you can see, again, that light. And then of course your up and down.

(machine whirs) So very nice, nice heavy duty electric motor, but not too big either. That was one thing that I was pretty impressed with on this particular jack was, as you can see, this is my hand. I mean the whole thing is pretty small compared to most of the other jacks that are out there on the market. I'm gonna go ahead and shut this off. Now you are gonna get the included bolts for mounting. You've got one, two, three elongated holes. You've also got the override crane candle here. Up here on top, there's a rubber plug. You simply pop that plug out. And then this just goes in there just like a regular wrench on a bolt. And then at that point, you can manually twist it up or down depending on what your needs are. And then that rubber grommet plug just goes right back in there. And just kind of wiggle it around, pop it back in place. So again, you don't have to worry about not having power in the event of that. You've got a nice foot plate here on the base. And you can simply take that pin out. And now you can take the base off if you wanted to change out the foot plates, maybe with one that's a rolling one or something like that, you have that flexibility as well. So I'm gonna go ahead and stick that pin back in there. And as far as some measurements, overall, when this is retracted like it is right now, from this flange to the ground is only 10 inches. When this is fully extended, it's gonna be 48 inches from the top to the ground and then 28 inches from the flange to the ground, again, when it's fully extended. Now when it's retracted like it is now, again, you got your 10 inches from the ground to the flange, but from the top to the ground is 30 inches. Now this runs on 12 volts just like I showed you earlier. And it's a simple plugin to your seven way connection. Everything here is nice. It's been powder coated so you don't have to worry about corrosion, rust, any kind of things like that. Very easy to install, no wiring. Just plug it in, take it off and you're ready to go. That's gonna wrap it up for our look together, folks. Again, my battery box is not included. As always, please, we welcome back feedback, good, bad or ugly, and some photos, maybe video of it in use on your ride. I'm Steven, have a good one.
