  • Square Trailer Jack Recommendation that is 2-1/4 inch Outer Diameter
The outer tube width of this jack is 2-1/2 inches by 2-1/2 inches but we do have the Pro Series jack part # PS1400800383 which has an outer tube diameter that is 2-1/4 inch by 2-1/4 inch and when fully retracted measures 23 inches which would be very similar to what you have. I attached a review video for this jack for you to check out as well.

  • Diameter of Stem On Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate # PS1400800383 For Handle Attachment
The stem for the handle on top of the Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate # PS1400800383 is 1/2" in diameter. It has a 1/4" hole for the bolt to secure the handle to the jack.

  • Replacement 5K Trailer Jack Needed with Bolt-On Installation
We do have a very similar 5K trailer jack like the Pro Series # PS1400800383 but that is a bolt-on installation instead of a weld-on. The Fulton Marine Jack # HD50000101 is also rated for 5K and it has a lift of 14" as opposed to 15" like the Pro Series jack has. This has a Zmax 600 finish for superior corrosion resistance and comes with a limited 5-year warranty. I have attached some review videos that you can check out as well.

  • Solution for Replacement Inner Tube on Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate
The only solution for a replacement inner tube on the Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate # PS1400800383 is total replacement. Unfortunately, the inner tube is not available as a separate replacement part.

  • Is the Bulldog BD178203 Compatible with the Fastway Flip Foot
I have a solution for you, but the Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # BD178203 is not compatible with the Fastway Flip Foot # FA88-00-4500 since the leg and inner tube are a single piece. Instead, you'd need to use a jack that had a removable foot on the drop leg like the Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate - Drop Leg - Topwind - 28-5/8" Lift - 5,000 lbs # PS1400800383 or the Bulldog Square Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - Sidewind - 28-1/2" Lift...

  • Recommended Replacement Tongue Jack for a 2007 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 31RLD
If you are looking for an upgrade, I recommend going with an electric jack like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg # SC63VR. I know the price tag is a bit intimidating but I think if you're using your jack and trailer enough, the amount of time saved from winding up and down is well worth it. This jack has a 23" lift height, a 4,500-lbs capacity, and features a super easy, bolt-on installation. Or If you'd prefer to stick with a manual jack, then the Pro Series Square...

  • Can a Leg/Foot be Added to the Pro Series Jack # PS1401440303
We do have other swivel jacks with the same weight rating that will allow you to use a foot like part # FA88-00-4500, but since the Pro Series Jack # PS1401440303 that you referenced has the foot plate welded to the inner leg you will need to go with the Pro Series # PS1400800383 instead. You can have the pipe mount # TJP-OP58 welded to the jack and the pipe mount # BD005024 welded to your trailer so that the jack can swivel if that is what you are wanting.

  • Dual Landing Gear Trailer Jacks That Operate with Hand Crank
The Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate # PS1400800383 is a stand-alone jack that welds on to a trailer frame. This 5000-lb-rated jack is intended to be used by itself, not along with another jack. The dual jack landing gear setups like # RVLG-8000 are typically for 5th wheel trailers and these do use two jacks connected by a rod. One hand crank operates both jacks at the same time. These landing gear systems appear on the linked page. You can also refer to the linked article for helpful...

  • Is The Phoenix Electric Jack UF38-944055 Offered in a Side Mount Option
The Phoenix Electric Jack # UF38-944055 is not offered in a side mount position, unfortunately. That being said, we do have the 2,500 pound capacity Fulton XLT Powered Drive Jack # F141401. That weight rating is usually measured at the tongue of the trailer and, depending on you tongue weight, should still be a viable option. We do have an array of heavier duty manual jacks, however. The Pro Series Square Jack # PS1400800383 would be a good manual, weld on option.

  • Wanting Bolt On High Capacity Trailer Jack Thats Easily Removable
We do offer a 5K static/3K lift capacity bolt on jack that would be easily removed. Take a look at the Traler Valet # TV64FR. The jack will fit on frame members up to 4-3/4 inches tall x 3-3/4 inches wide. The jack can be swiveled up so its parallel with the trailer frame or simply removed by pulling out the pull-pin and sliding the jack off the pipe mount. The jack can be operated with an 18-24V cordless drill, using the included adapter which is a handy feature. The rest of the jacks...

  • Drop Leg Jacks Needed for Loading Equipment on a 14,000 lb Equipment Trailer
The Pro Series Square Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return, # PS1400950376, that you referenced would work well for your trailer, but you would most likely have to do some fabrication to install this jack on each side at the rear. The outside dimension of this jack is 4 inches square. I produced a short video showing 3 jacks, the one you mentioned, the same jack without a spring return drop leg, # PS1400990376, and an 8,000 lb jack, # PS1400800383, that would most likely work also. Two 8,000...

  • 5K Capacity Bulldog Jack Is Jammed and Will Not Raise or Lower Trailer
According to Bulldog, the jack has been either over extended or retracted and the main screw inside that runs the jack in and out has jammed into the nut. If using a reasonable amount of force won't successfully retract or extend the jack, then Bulldog recommends that the jack be replaced as the screw has been damaged and a replacement part isn't available. The closest replacement to your original jack is part # PS1400800383.

  • Difference Between Pro Series Trailer Jack # PS1400800383 and Bulldog Trailer Jacks
I have not heard of any complaints from customers about the Pro Series Trailer Jacks. The # PS1400800383 jack features a zinc plated inner tube and the jack is constructed of steel. The Pro Series # PS1400800383 is comparable to the Bulldog Square Jack # BD190754. Both of these jacks have similar construction and have the same weight capacity of 8,000 lbs. The main reason for difference in price points for each jack is the warranty on the jacks. The Pro Series Jack has a 3 year warranty,...

  • Can I Exchange my A-frame Trailer Jack for a Side Mount Jack so Tailgate Can Be Lowered?
I can certainly understand how you would like to lower your truck tailgate while hitched to a trailer. Yes, you can switch from an A-frame jack to the Bulldog # BD178203 side mounted swivel jack. You will need to weld on the pipe mount of course. With your current jack, adjust the jack height until the trailer is level, then measure from the top of the coupler to the ground. From that measurement add 4" and that is the height you need. If 15" is long enough, then the BD178203 is good...

  • Options for Raising the Tongue Height on a Boat Trailer on a Slanted Driveway to Drain Water
Your best option would be to either replace your trailer jack or add a second jack that comes with a drop leg. We had a trailer here at our facility that was in a similar situation and this method worked pretty well. We kept the original sidewind swivel jack with the wheel caster on the trailer and added the Pro Series Square Jack, # PS1400800383. This jack is welded to the trailer tongue and it can be welded at any part of the outer tube. The jack has a standard lift height of 15 inches,...

I went out to the warehouse and measured the outer tube on the Pro-Series Square Jack with Footplate, item # PS1400800383, and the outer square steel tube measures 2-1/4 inches square, the inner tube measures 2 inches square. I have attached a review video for you to check out.

  • Recommended Weld-On Square Jack with Removable Handle for 4 Corners of Trailer
The Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate - Drop Leg - Topwind - 28-5/8" Lift - 5,000 lbs # PS1400800383 cannot have the handle removed and reinstalled easily. It would require opening up the jack each time. I recommend using the Square Direct Weld Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return - Sidewind - 12-3/8" Travel - 10K # TJD-12000SP-F2 for your application.

  • Drop Leg Square Trailer Jack Recommendation for a Car Hauler
The Pro Series Square Jack, # PS1400800383, is a weld-on jack. Once you start getting to higher capacities, like 5,000 pounds, you will see less and less bolt-on options. For a bolt on jack with a 2,500 pound capacity, we have # DL22320. Given the weight of a loaded car hauler this may not be enough. A weld-on jack like you referenced would be more ideal. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder.

The Pro Series Square Topwind Jack with Footplate and Drop Leg, part # PS1400800383, has an overall height when fully retracted and with the drop leg fully inserted, of 22-7/8 inches. You can select an appropriate mounting height for welding the jack to your trailer frame based on having adequate clearance between the bottom of the footplate and the ground when under a typical load. • How does the Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate, # PS1400800383 Weld to a Trailer
The Pro Series Square Jack with Footplate, # PS1400800383, is a direct-weld jack meaning that you would weld the outer tube of the jack directly to the trailer frame. Welding should be done by a qualified professional welder. It would be best to determine where on the jack the welding will be and remove the powdercoating ahead of time to get the best weld.
