Today we're going to take a look at the Lippert components outside mouth power jack landing gear. Now this landing gear is designed to help you minimize setup time and get into the things that you want to do quicker. This landing gear settle, let your raise and lower your trailer. It's ideal for fifth wheel trailers and RVs and it is constructed with a powder coated steel to ensure that it will resist rust and corrosion and hold up well against the elements. It's a heavy gauge steel construction. Ensures durability and strength and the durable black powder coated outer tubes provide excellent corrosion resistance. The outer tube dimensions are about two and a half inches by two and a half inches. It does use a standard speed electric motor which provides the lifting power, eliminates the need for any hand cranking while the cross shaft right here ensures that the jacks will raise and lower at the same rate. Now it does include the power switch and power harness to connect to operate your motor.
Now they do also actually include a crank handle, which allows you to manually operate the jack if needed. That would just insert onto the end there and you can manually operate it up or down. The cross shaft right here, it does telescope so that you can fit the width of your trailer. The cross shaft length is anywhere from 41 inches up to 72 and 3/4 inches. Now each jack has a drop leg that will allow the gear to reach the ground faster, saving you time as you set up your trailer or your RV. Helps level the trailer on uneven ground.
The foot plates right down here at the very bottom, you can see very large foot plates. They offer stability, prevent sinking. Dimensions on those are about six and a quarter inches long by eight and one eighth inches wide. The mounting brackets right here, two on each one. These will weld onto your trailer and then the jacks will bolt onto those brackets with the included hardware.Few specs on this. The total lift is 33 and a half inches, so basically that's the travel length of 19 and 3/4 and then the drop leg you get an additional 13 and 3/4.
So those two added together will get you the total lift of 33 and a half inches. The crank handle we had mentioned that's going to be about 29 and 11/16 inches long by about nine and a half inches wide. The capacity on this set is going to be, if it's a single motor like it is shown here, it's 2,500 pounds per leg. If you switch it to a dual motor, it'll be four thousand pounds per leg, and these parts are made in the USA.But that should do it for the review on the Lippert components outside mount power jack landing gear.

Received the Kit in about four days (5 Stars for etrailer). The shipping container was severely damaged (2 stars for UPS), but at least it arrived. Did not appear any parts were missing. I ordered this kit because it was less expensive for the complete kit then to replace both landing gear legs separately. I left the 5th wheel attached to the truck and removed the old landing gear, gearbox, and motor prior to the arrival of the new system. Keep all your parts. The new kit arrived and was very easy and straight forward to install. However the tubular steel expansion rod that connects both landing gear legs was too short. I had to use the my old connection rod. Also the spacer used for the inside of the large side of the connection rod was not included with the kit. Had to use the old spacer in the old connecting rod. I used my old landing gear foot plates and pull pins on both landing gear leg extensions. Once installed, the kit worked flawlessly. I placed red marker tape on the landing gear extensions so not to top out the legs when lifting. Again save all your old parts.

I received my new landing gear, and it was what I expected. I have not installed it yet, but after putting a temporary fix on my old unit last year, I'm sure this unit will work. The packaging is not great, I actually thought the gear box that came with was used it was so dirty, but it has no installation marks on it, so I believe it's new. The trucking company used drove off my driveway cracking the edge of the asphalt, so I'm not real excited about that either. Other than those two things, it will work...

Package was very heavy. It was so heavy that ups damaged the box and lost some of the hardware. This should have been sent in at least 2 boxes from the weight of this item.

I installed the jacks on my 23 ft. 5th wheel trailer, which was very simple and ran the electric wires direct to my battery compartment. The jacks work fine but are a bit too noisy for my liking. Not sure if all are this noisy but they do the job.

This was just what I needed. The legs work perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, there were pieces missing from the shipment and I had to purchase the missing items from a local hardware store. Also one gear box was locked up and I had to take it apart to find a piece of a wire tie inside blocking the gears. Once the piece of plastic was removed works like a charm. The fast delivery makes up for the slight inconvenience. The legs are holding my 5th wheel up with pride.

This landing gear has worked great. Unfortunately it was a bigger job than we were willing to undertake but luckily found a mobile repair service to install it for us. We have had no problems since then.

I would give five stars if the product came with instructions and packaged better. Box came like it was taped up by 2 year old. Parts loose and hardware loose. Jacks did work fine.

The landing gear worked perfectly as a direct replacement to my existing landing gear. One of the legs of the existing landing gear had failed so I decided to replace the entire unit. Everything worked great. Although it wasn’t very difficult to figure out how things were to be put together, there were no installation instructions. It took about two hours of wrench time plus an hour of unpacking, setup, and clean up to replace the entire unit.

The item was delivered on time. I checked and there were no missing parts. The landing gear set fit perfect and appears to be well made. Installation instructions were not included. Whether or not you are experienced with installation of this system, I believe instructions should always be included.

I really can't say a lot about the product quality at this time since I just got it installed. It was (I believe) drop shipped to me from the factory. When I received and installed the land gear assembly it kept binding regardless of if I was raising or lower the landing gear rendering it unusable. I contacted the folks at etrailer and was helped by their technician Wayne H. With his help we were able to discover the problem and that was that the factory sent me two leading landing gear legs instead of a (1) leading leg and one following leg. etrailer sent me a replacement following landing gear leg and I installed it today. Once again the electric landing gears on my 5th wheel worked just like they did when the trailer was new. I will definitely be doing business with etrailer in the future and do recommend them to anyone needing parts for a trailer.

I ordered my landing legs complete package Lippert LC 333964 for my 2007 Keystone Raptor 299 m. It had everything to replace my complete landing legs. Etrailer is the best company I’ve ever did business with. Shipping was real fast. They returned emails within minutes. They are my go to trailer parts store. Thank you so very much. Les

Purchased for my 2010 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 285 RLD. The original Jack Leg collapsed. I ordered this set to replace the complete Jack Leg System. I upgraded the capacity for added assurance and they fit perfectly. The system runs a little bit slower than the original but that is caused by the different gear ratio for the increased capacity. A few extra seconds of time is an easy trade off for the increased capacity security. A great product from a great company.

Not a hard project for someone younger than me. It seems to work and interchange with the old one. I have yet to try the hand crank. I had to jack trailer up in order to work on it with floor jack and blocks. I'm not sure if the hand crank would pick it up. However, I am happy with the product and will get it a full blown test in June 2020 to see if it holds up. I don't expect any problems.
