Today well be reviewing part number BD195354. This is the Bulldog Square Jack. Footplate is included, has a sidewind handle. Has a drop leg. Its going to provide 15 inches of lift and its rated at 5,000 pounds. This does have a superior side load capacity when compared with round jacks.
The outer and inner tubes overlap for additional strength when the jack is fully extended and the square design provides additional support when it comes to side loading. This does have a very durable long lasting construction. Here on the outer tube, we have a weather resistant coating and here on the inner tube, we have a zinc plated finish, which is going to help it stand up nicely against rust and corrosion. Now, the drop leg is going to increase the overall extension from maximum adjustability. To gain access to that, we just need to pull the pin and then this is our drop leg. As you can see, it has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 different mounting holes. The distance between each mounting hole is going to measure 3-1/2 inches from the center to center.
The distance from the lowest mounting hole to the highest mounting hole is 13-1/2 inches, so thats where we get our drop leg travel from. Well go ahead and place our jack back over our drop leg and reinstall our pin and secure it with a clip. This is a direct weld design, so once you find that location, youre looking forward to weld this to your trailer, simply weld it on, get it fully secure and then youre ready to go. The standard footplate is included. Its going to measure 4 inches by 7-1/2 inches. This jack is ASABE compliant. When the jack is fully retracted, were going to have a measurement of 25-1/2 inches from the bottom of the footplate to the top of our jack.
When we use the handle to fully extend it, were going to have an extension or a lift of 15 inches, so then its going to measure right at 40-1/2 inches. Then, we have an additional 13-1/2 inches of travel with using the drop leg and that is adjustable in increments of 3-1/2 inches. Our tubing width here on our outer tube is going to measure 2-1/4 inches, which is going to give us an inner tube width of right at 2 inches. Our handle has a radius of 6-1/2 inches measuring from the center of the handle to the bend of the elbow. This is going to have a lift capacity of 3,000 pounds, with a static capacity of 5,000 pounds. Thats going to complete todays review of part number BD195354.

We have been super-satisfied with our purchase. But we have adapted them for use in a different way;we are using them for raising and lowering seats on exercise machines in our Physical Therapy offices! These replaced our having to squat to manually pull the pin and then lift the seat to the proper height.

Seems ideal for its designed use: trailer jack. I will use my in my shop however and the base is not as stable (too small) as I need so I will weld a plate steel square base to it and it should be perfect for my needs.
I mounted several of these under Spartec Conveyors. Our customers wanted to adjust the heights at each end as required for different presses. They are working great.
