Let's take a look at the bulldog pipe mounted swivel Jack. So, this one is gonna have a static capacity of 8,000 pounds and a lift capacity of 5,000 pounds. So, the difference between the two, if we have 5,000 pounds on our trailer, we're gonna be able to lift it. But if it exceeds that we're not gonna be able to but all the way up to 8,000 pounds this Jack will be able to support that capacity. Looking down at our foot plate it's relatively big compared to some of the other ones. So, it's not gonna sink into the ground on the job site or anywhere else.
It's about six inches wide and about eight inches long. Notice how that's welded. So, if you did wanna put a wheel on this you are gonna have to go with a different Jack. We do have some of those, and we did the videos on them. So, you just go and check those out.
The plate and the inner tube is gonna be zinc coated. So, you don't have to worry about it rusting way over time. The smaller tube is two inches by two inches. And moving up to the bigger tube. This is two and a quarter by two and a quarter and has a nice gray, pattern finish.
Unlike some of the ones on our website that you may be looking at. This one comes with a greaser. So, over time, sometimes the lubrication on the inside of the gears starts to wear down. So, you wanna regrease it. The more you use it, the more you want to do it.
I use mine every other week or so. And I do this about I every six months. I like this just because I like to maintenance my equipment and this is gonna help prolong the life of the whole entire Jack. This is a side-wind. So, this is gonna be nice if you have a lot going on, on the front of your trailer. And the only other option we have is one that goes on the top. I like the side-winds just because I do like to put tool box and stuff up here. So, we're gonna have a radius of about eight and a half inches, and we do have a plastic piece here that's gonna rotate. So, the metal isn't gonna be rotating in our hands. So, this is gonna make it nice and easy on your hands. Even with gloves, it's a pretty big handle. A lot of you are asking which one's gonna be the fastest when it comes to the jacks. All the gear ratios are pretty much the same the longer the handle, the more rotations you're gonna get out of one rotation, if that makes sense. But if you want to get the ultimate fastest, Jack go ahead and grab one with a drop leg. So the drop leg is just gonna prevent us from having a crank so much because as of right now, you know I'm gonna have to probably crank this up maybe 20, 30 times. But if we had a drop leg we wouldn't have to do it near as often. So, I would definitely suggest grabbing one that drops down. All we have to do to go down the road is pull this pin here. It's five ACE inches in diameter, and it's connected. It also has a pretty big grab handle. So, even if you do have some gloves on if you're hauling in the winter, it's gonna be easy to use. You can rotate this around and place it back in. I just like how it has the little chain to keep it connected because I lose things all the time. And that's something that's gonna prevent that from happening. From the center of our pipe, all the way down to the bottom of our foot plate, it's gonna be about 12 and three 16 of an inch when it's fully retracted. And then when it fully extended it's gonna be about 27 and three 16 of an inch. And that's a total of 15 inches of travel. If you wanna get an idea of how long this thing is completely, when it's retracted it's about 24 and a half inches. It is gonna come with the weld on piece but notice how this one's bigger than the one on our trailer. So, it'll work with both. If you have the smaller one on your trailer the Jack's gonna go over. And if you want to use the bigger one the sleeve is gonna go over the Jack. So, one thing to think about is placement. Whenever you're putting this on your trailer this right here is the wrong way. So, the hole with the longer gap on the one side that side goes towards the trailer and we do wanna make sure that the holes are perfectly up and down. So, we don't have a crooked Jack whenever we rotate it down. And then also whenever we're welding this up don't put big old, thick welds on there because sometimes the holes don't really wanna line up. When it comes to jacks, I've messed with pretty much all of the pipe mounted jacks. So, what you wanna do is hook up your trailer. So, let's just say that this is the height at which it's hooked up to my vehicle. Then we wanna measure from the center of the frame, down to the ground and that's gonna give us the length that we really want. Cause the closer we get it to the ground whenever we rotate it down the less we're gonna have to crank it. But if you do get a drop leg it's kind of gonna eliminate all of that. So, that's why I suggested it to most people, it's just easier and quicker, which time is money especially if you're working on a job site. But the main thing you wanna look for is the capacity. You don't wanna limit your trailer from the beginning get an idea of exactly how much weight we plan on putting on our trailer and then choose accordingly. And that just about does it, for a look at the bulldog pipe mounted swivel Jack..

Jack has 12-3/16" retracted height and measure 12-3/8" from mounting bracket to top, excluding handle. Crank included.Trailer jacks are great, however, if you order multiples the packaging should definitely improve. Boxes were all torn up and jacks were all scratched. Was not happy at all about that part. The boxes were not made to carry that kind of weight. Pictures below of how they arrived in front of our business with UPS.
It is exactly what we needed! Great service and communication!
I have used the Jack several times and works excellent. Well built. I leave it off the trailer and will use it on other trailers which have pipe mounts, as the trailer I bought it for is used infrequently. All the people that work at etrailer were very helpful in getting the right jack for my needs. I will be rebuilding another bulldog jack and will order parts when I determine what is required to repair it.
Original jacks arrived damaged by shipper in transit. etrailer sent replacements right away and a prepaid label to return damaged products. Replacements arrived shortly afterwards, thank you.
Jacks themselves are well made, sturdy and easy to use. Swing away feature also allows jack to be physically removed from trailer and stored elsewhere, an especially important feature as the jack could otherwise be easily removed and stolen if left on trailer tongue. Pictures of project to follow.
I needed a heavy duty jack for a heavy piece of equipment. This fit the bill nicely.
used it on my 15ft bushhog. the old one was a smaller capacity and I bent the shaft on it. so with a little work I got this one welded on and it works perfect.
Excellent order processing which led to a quick and correct shipment.
It's nice to deal with online vendors who get the product out fast!

The same as the day it came out of the box! This jack is installed on a emergency response trailer and goes through heavy use each week. Great product for the money !
PRODUCT WAS GREAT UPS WAS VERY ROUGH WITH BOXES BUT THEY ALL MADE IT THANKYOU
Very heavy duty. Would recommend.
Order process was easy package arrived on time. Great Service!!
Very nice. Definitely worth the money! Very solid!
Great jack i put it on my 6x12x6 dump trailer i needed an overkill size jack so I could load while not hooked to the truck and if the trailer rolled or moved while loading it wouldnt fold up the jack this has been an excellent addition to the trailer !
this jack replaced one on a trailerable manlift. It was an easy install after I had the piece of pipe welded onto the tongue. The jack lifts very smoothly and has plenty of lifting power.
Trailer Jack is all I hoped it would be.
It is easy to use, mounted to my original swivel yoke. No wedding required to replace this Trailer Jack for the original on our 5 foot by 12 foot tandem axle trailer.
Cranking action is smooth and easy to turn with the long handle.
The foot plate easily extends with the quick change pin, reducing the cranking needed to lift the trailer hitch for loading the trailer and leveling our trailer once a destination no matter what the load.
Using an bungy cord to keep handle from hanging down when the Trailer jack is lying in its travel position along the trailer tung.
This jack is an ideal replacement for the Vermeer BC1000

The jack works great! 2 nice features complement its functionality: it’s geared low, so can easily raise a heavy load ( 2 cord wood, 1.5 yds gravel, 30 hp tractor etc), and the adjustable foot can be moved to lessen the travel needed. This extension also make it possible to raise the front higher than nonadjustable jack models. Has given me a higher slope when shoveling out the bed - a quasi manual dump effect.
And last, it is mounted on a rotating bezel - so can be stowed horizontal when towed, if needed. This really helps me when I use it in the woods, towed by the tractor, digging out stumps. It easily clears roots rocks, and deadfall - with the trailer wiring safely tucked inside conduit.
Very pleased after a year, no problems or issues. Has proven more functional than I expected.
great jacks i use them all the time on my wood chippers.
Worked out well for what I needed.
Product worked great! It’s well made and looks good, easy to weld into place and lifts a car hauler trailer with no problems!
Would recommend!
Excellent high quality jack!
An exact replacement for me that is stoutly constructed.Service was excellent but box was massively damaged on arrival. Holed on 3 sides with jack hanging out. Pretty sure I got everything that was placed in the box and the jack works.
The trailer Jack arrived prompt and is of great quality, due to the specific measurements they recommended taking, it was "plug and play".
I am very pleased with the service etrailer provided!
Just had it welded to our Eagle Spirit trailer that hauls a 24 foot Thompson Fisherman and it is GREAT. Handles the heavy weight with absolutely no problem. Thank you.
